I remember a post of Cobra(definitly someone from HB) saying that all their F-14 Artwork is done for the 2.2 Gamma setting because of real live physics/behaviour/something.... You could at least have read the posts from TODAY to find your answer. @BIGNEWY I have a suggestion, count how many times there was a question like "Patch today/this week" after the last patch release and multiply it by one week -> thats your new release date for the next patch and that gives you plenty of time for building/testing the next patch :smilewink: Keep up your good work :beer:

Have a look in the DCS World 2.5 Bugs section, this is a reported LOD bug with many objects in 2.5.6

Works for me with a hot start in the air, didn't further testing the viggen in 2.5.6 yet.

I like the new MFD's except if you enter for example bomb seperation -> you can't read anything on 2D and in VR it's even worse. :cry: The view on the picture is already zoomed in....would like to have this improved and i would be happy with the MFD's. :thumbup:

Yes, was flying in the F-14 in VR and hat the impression it was way worse there.

[REPORTED]KC-135 MPRS I tried AAR with the latest 2.5.6 OB version and had massive problems to visually find the KC-135 MPRS tanker. I had to lock him with radar and couldn't see anything until it suddenly plopped into view. Attached is a picture with the KC-135 MPRS "max" visible zoom and the next step is invisible. For comparison i copy/pasted the F-16 max zoom (visible dot) into the picture. Track attached also. KC-135MPRS.trk

That is only the first update, a much bigger one is coming after that :D , size depending on the maps you own.

My anti-virus software is deleting the "WorldGenerall.dll". If i deactivate my AV software and run a repair the missing file is there, if i run a check of the DCS folder the file is still there and my AV software doesn't find anything, as soon as i start DCS i see the same error message and my AV software deleted the file again. Very strange, never had that with DCS and my AV software before.

OK this OB update is a little anti-climax for me, i can't start DCS anymore. I did the update, run a repair afterwards and got "Step 1" if i try to run DCS, after that "Step 2" did a repair again "Step 3" and get message "Step 5" after that. I did a resart of my PC, tried the Reapir 4 times now, Update is telling me i am on the latest version. I'm running out of ideas....:music_whistling: DCS is not generating any form of log, crash or dmp file at all

Take a screenshot of it? Make a video? Upload a trackfile if it showes up in it? I can't imagine what you exactle mean with "HUD is angled" :dunno:

You can use the ARK-9 to tune in on frequencies of 150KHz - 1300KHz(0.150MHz - 1.3MHz) and follow the needle. Manual 120 and following. I'm not sure if it's AM/FM or if it cares about them, it's a while since i used it. But you can set up an ground unit transmitting on this frequency and home in on it.

If you have something like that again in any module you could bring up the controls indicator with "right ctrl + enter", there you can see what axis is doing what.

Ofcourse it is, but you have to admit we all know HB because of DCS, now they are working together with a professional Aviation/Sim company and they answer the "concerned questions" with a generally held phrase which can be interpreted as "everything is fine we will focus on DCS" or as "we finish our announced/planned stuff and went on and do our own thing to not be dependent of ED/engine limitations anymore"

Maybe because they never used "DCS" in this statement, only the phrase "consumer/professional flight sims"..... :dunno:
