The difference is ED is still here, the Dev of your Hawk run away with your money and refused to give ED the source/required material to complete the mess they left behind after running away. So, get over it or "hunt" the former Dev down and annoy them with your Hawk.

There is already one in the wishlist subforum, go talk about it there for the millionst time: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=255290 There is by the way a poll about that topic in that thread, nearly 600 people voted and 80% of them said NO, one was me. If you have enough money to spare beg ED to open up a Paypal or Patreon account for people who want to donate money. :music_whistling: Or look at the forums if there are people who wish to get modules but can't afford them, just buy these people the modules as a gift -> that way you supported ED and you made a community member happy!

Maybe a different suggestion, JF-17. You have "Amramm-like" AA missiles and nice AG weapons. TV Guided long range AG missiles, anti ship missiles, Gliding bombs(impact/cluster), and the best the BRM-1 is similar to your Vikhr missiles -> put 16 or 32 on your Jet + a TGP and you run out of gas before you run out of missiles :lol: You can AirAirRefuel it.... I just looked realy into this little bird a little over a week ago and loving it :thumbup:

I didn't tried that yet, just installed the Beta today after seeing Vulkan is live for that sim. I will try it later. EDIT: I tried it with my Rift S, over Hamburg city and less populated countryside of northern germany my fps were locked at 40, some minor drops to 38 or so - i had to watch the framecounter on the mirrored screen. Very impressive if i recall my first VR test a year ago or so, that was very poor performance and stuttering with very reduced details. But now there is nearly no stuttering, every thing feels absolutly smooth, the only glitch i noticed are the water reflections in VR flash and glitch with the head movement(fast). But like others already said, the openGL engine is not a very perfomant to begin with and nobody knows how significant the performance improvement for DCS will be(DX to Vulkan).

Pretty impressive on my side. My little test starting at Hamburg Finkenwerder direction north to the city, turning east to fly along river Elbe with the river and all the buildings and trees, clouds and a little fog visible(200-400ft heigt). OpenGL: 25 on runway, on flight 20-26 Vulkan: 45 on runway, on flight 38 -46 Details, nearly maxed out, only AA is not maxed out, 3440x1440

I have the same "problem" like you describe with your mission. The problem with your mission is that you use two different versions of the GB-6, one is the HE version and the other is the "cluster bomb" version, two diffirent versions of the same weapon. Edit: The question now is if you should be able to select a quantity of two if you have tow different versions of one weapon loaded or not and if yes why you shouldn't be able to release both at the same weapon release press like it's possible if both weapon versions are the same.

Ha, you are right :thumbup: I configured both GB-6 for two different PP targets and as soon as i clicked quantity to two i can only see 1 PP selection but both GB-6 will release on one press and fly to different targets. I got confused because it only showes 1 PP and i can't switch between both with quantity 2 but the bombs glide to their individual PP targets, thanks for that AeriaGloria I will have a look and report back.

That is strange, i did a quick and dirty test right now and it worked for me in PP Mode, 2 GB-6 on one PP target with one weapon release press. Very quick and dirty track attached, didn't had my VR setup started so view control with numpad.... :music_whistling: EDIT: I did the test with quantity 2 and two different PP targets but this will not work because as soon as you select quantity 2 both GB-6 will be set to one PP target(sounds logical to me), you can't change that. In that case you will setup both PP targets to both GB-6 and press twice to release them individually. quick_and_dirty.trk

Didn't tried it but maybe that is the problem, you select quantity 2 but don't shot 2 at one target but you want to shoot 2 at 2 different targets. Did you try shooting 2 at the same target?

Both reported crashes were my only CTD's in DCS. But i rolled back my GPU driver from 445.75 and 445.78 back to 442.72 because of strong stuttering in the JF-17 cockpit with the newer nvidia drivers(strangely only in the JF-17). Also after every DCS update i delete FXO/Metashader2 folder and run a repair. Between last report and now i flew the Jeff for some hours(and other modules too) but luckily had no CTD yet again.

Great, thank you :thumbup: Another little thing i noticed, if i only have one song, number set to one in the special options and start playing("Mode C or X") the song in cockpit the DPlayer stops playback after the song has finished - i have to maually start playing again. If i have multiple songs setup the DPlayer ("Mode C") loops them nicely. Is this working like intended? Don't loop with 1 song but loop with multiple songs(all .ogg files)?

Hi Deka, i tried your new DPlayer and got it working, thank you for that feature :thumbup: I noticed a little problem with the UI in the special options. If i slide the "Number of Tracks" slider to max 30 or min 0 i can't drag and slide it anymore, it's stuck at min/max. I can get it unstuck if i click somewhere on the slider but if i click on the "dot" and try to slide it from min/max it doesn't move. If the "dot" is set to any other value than min/max you can click on it and drag it along the slider. Keep up the good work :thumbup:

Yeah, i found the new AAR switch in the meantime(saw only the AAR light switch at the first glance), but thank you very much, now it works like a charm! :thumbup: @Deka Thank you for all the bug fixing and new features you add! The new switch direction adjustment works perfect for me now in VR. You guys rock :thumbup: :beer:

Did somebody manage to refuel in the air? I tried the KC-135MPRS but everytime my probe touches the basket i get the radio call "transfer complete" but i'm actually running low on gas. I will try with some other tanker now.

This got me by surprise too a couple of days ago. I was head on against to Mig-29 and had both locked on radar/TWS. Shot missile one at the HPT and manually switched from HPT to the SPT to engage the SPT, switching back manually to the HPT...and did the same again. The first Mig was destroyed but the second Mig got me with a R-73. I was watching the track and saw that all four SD-10 were going to the first Mig-29...WTF was my first reaction :lol: I tried it a second time but this time was watching my HUD and not the Radar screen and saw the automatic switching from HPT to SPT and from SPT to HPT after launching every single missile but nothing (switching "active target") was shown on the Radar screen. Is there an indication i didn't payed attention to on the Radar screen what is the target that will get engaged by my missile launch?
