The thing is, we had this once with Razbam announcing the Mig-23...the community was wow/cool....and the hopes got crushed by ED saying "you have no license, your doing nothing". It took them what, a year +/-? before they re-announce the Mig-23 after they had signed a contract. I'm not saying this is the case here....

Wow, that is how the Rift CV1 looks in DCS? I'm glad i bought the Rift S as my first VR Headset, i can see the HUD and MFD's clear and have no problems reading them.

Yes, what Shimmergloom667 said. You can try it if you want at Senaki-Kolkhi. Just fly over it to land at Senaki-Kolkhi and you will hear two different tones passing over the Outer/Inner Marker.

In case you didn't notice my previous post, did you test to climb to get the TACAN signal? Thats the only thing i have to do in the free flight mission if i set TACAN 22X T/R and HSI to TCN, nothing more. Or don't i understand your post entirely?

Did you enter this at the mission start? I tried it right now and after entering 22X and clicking the Mode button twice to switch to TACAN i had the red flags too, i had to climb for a signal to get rid of the red flags.

I had this too, was flying with 6 GBU-12, all went well until i dropped my last GBU-12, my AG mode switched automatically from CCRP to CCIP and the TPOD caged to boresight. I attached a small trackfile with only one GBU-12 and TPOD as my loadout, as soon as i release the GBU-12(last because the only one) the above mentioned happend, easy to replicate. Strange, did a couple of takeoff/landings at Batumi and flying at M1+ at tree level and had no stuttering on my Rift S, sometimes it dropped from 40fps lock to 38 but that was all. Attached are my settings, i run PD at 1.5 in the VR menu

I did a quick air start and entered Batumi, worked for me. Eidt: Ah, it's working for you too now :thumbup:

Thats something i noticed too, visibility and readability of the HUD/MFD and Cockpit is really good on my Rift S. After the first takeoff/spin/landing at Batumi it's now back to work...setting up the HOTAS :book:

Standalone user here, worked for me. My first Patch size was ~300MB, canceled that and after restarting the download my patch size increased to ~1250MB, after that was installed i yould open the module manager within dcs and after waiting for ~10s i was prompted that i can install the module, download of ~575MB again and now it works. I'm using the standalone version. I think the first downloads were not correct in size. Try to start the update again/repair?

What was your DCS patch size? My first try was only ~300MB of size, after i canceled it and restarted it was ~1250MB big. After installing it i started DCS and opened the module manager, after waiting ~10s i was prompted that i can now install the F-16 module, still downloading the ~575MB. 200MB to go

Downloaded and installed the ~1,2GB DCS patch, went into the module manager within DCS and clicked on install F-16, now downloading the ~575MB for the Module

I canceled my download because it was stuck at 7,6kb/s, restarted and now the download size raised from ~300MB to ~1270MB, but download speed is still crap 100-200kb/s oh now it's ~2MB/s :D

Droppet from 100kb/s to 250kb/s to 7,6kb/s now, you're not alone. :D
