http://www.big-boys.com/articles/canwemakeit.html helicopter crash http://www.big-boys.com/articles/f15midair.html F15 crash Two more interesting videos

I was talking about water. Planes in IL2 create the same wake an lo-mac already has a feature that creates dust clouds over ground why not wake over water? http://www.big-boys.com/articles/30mm.html <<< interesting but unlikely seeing as most graphics cards struggle with explosions anyway
-
Could ED impliment effects such as the ones in this video http://www.big-boys.com/articles/flyby.html for 1.2? Notice the wake of the plane I'll post more as and when I find them

Good stuff. Didn't know that the cranes could move. You have talent and should keep making more movies. Not many have been made for quite a while.

Where are the wave guide settings!!!
EscCtrl replied to VMFA-Blaze's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
To avoid that file corruption again or at least avoid having to reinstall lomac. When you install something with loman check that 'install using CDDS' box is off. -

A little light relief: 1.1 racing challenge.
EscCtrl replied to Andrew_McP's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Sounds like barn-stormingly good fun. If only you could fly through a double open ended hangar like in a certain james bond film :). Will give it a try when I have time -
How do you play the game in terms of control?
EscCtrl replied to Pilotasso's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
A HOTAS will help you a lot espcially with throttle control as the keyboard isn't very responsive. General control is also easier with a HOTAS as you need to use most of the keyboard i.e. you can't turn a corner control your speed engage an enemy and look around all at once with a keyboard, but you can with HOTAS. -
Poll: How's it working for you?
EscCtrl replied to S77th-GOYA's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
No Problems, just not actually that impressed with the game, all that hype and anticipation has dulled it down. :( -
Why people can't download FC -answer

I thought it said 'Go to secure checkout'? -
6) If I remember correctly the weapon names weren't displayed in the demo when they updated the HUDs to a supposedly more realistic state. I haven't played 1.1 yet so I can't answer anymore.

LOMAC v1.1 copy protection – good news/bad news
EscCtrl replied to Bogun's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
This is an important issuse and maybe ED are unaware of the problems involved for us in the West. Try and contact Cizh soon about this. -
I'm not so bothered about waiting seeing as I'm away in the Canary Islands for the next week LO-MAC will be far off my mind :P. They said February so they can keep their promise and delay the release right up until the 28th and be on time. Or delay it further (and kill more kittens)

Creating higth poly 3D Models and sending it to the DEVS
EscCtrl replied to wsoul2k's topic in 3D Modeling for DCS World
Not to be negative about your work but isn't the longbow in a later era then that of LO-MAC? This was the reason there are no F22s, Su35/7s, etc. or is the lonbow older then I realise. How easy would it be to convert it to an apache if it isn't allowed for being 'out of date'? P.S. Nice work -
What do you think?
-
As far as I know you can't. That picture looks like its from 1.1 and if so they may have added this feature. Not certain though.
-
Just remember Ubisoft aren't involved with this so ED haven't got as much funding, etc. the mere fact that they are making this game for outside of Russia at all is surely enough for you to shutup and wait?

A better Cockpit for Lock On, an add-on Guide
EscCtrl replied to a topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Got it working, very impressive and thanks to you its compiled in such a way we have access to all the mods. One problem I know it cannot be addressed with 1.02 but if you look at the reflection on the dials it is static it does not move with the light of the sun. i.e. when your facing the sun the dials should be dark and all most blinding when the sun hits it at a certain angle. -
And a few more requests for the Devs.
EscCtrl replied to GGTharos's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
My Request is you spell 'author' correctly. Below the topic title it currently says 'autor'. I'm sure this won't delay v1.1 too much :D -
Questions and ideas about distribution in the west
EscCtrl replied to Avimimus's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Thats more effort then you'd think. They'd have to employ proffesional linguists for the job to make sure its 100% accurate. -
Details of v1.1 Flaming Cliffs *Updated- 25/11/04*
EscCtrl replied to Shepski's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
[ quote=.britgliderpilot][.quote=.RedBear].the potential profit to be made isn't much. You can assume that no western publisher will pick it up. So No. download is very likely to be the only way.[/.quote ] You say the profit will be low. It might be worth creating a petition to see how many Western people are actually interested then seeing if whoever the Russian publisher is may send copies to the West. It could be worht a try. How much is likely to cost in England if it is released? £40 or £20? -

By the way who on these forums does work for Eagle Dynamics? Good work so far. If you need any help with testing etc. (or any other non-skilled help) just ask.
