Regarding "FÄLLD LAST" when I fly anti-shipping search-and-destroy style and enter SPA mode I get "FÄLLD LAST" blinkning after a few 3 seconds, is that too a bug or is the CK37 trying to tell me something? Really enjoying your videos Hilmerby, looking forward to the next if any and all anecdotes, stories and comments on how the 37 actually respond/function. Any chance you could arrange a list of all things you find such as TID not calculating the complete flight only next BP?

  6. Thank you renhanxue, my view since release too - spot on. I am also worried by long time sustainability since most DCS updates kill modules one way or another (ED changing atmosphere stuff affecting this module for instance but also the swift death of the Hawk). Not a Viggen specific issue but 3rd party in general. Now for bug feedback, no shadow falls on Ragnar - he's the only one talking here which of course also makes this look like a sparetime hobby-business only moving forward when he manages to get free time from kids/wife/work/stuckintraffic you name it. What's more annoying is Cobra statments that fall dead flat 2 years later, perfect way to tell customers "I have your dollars already". So, no matter IronMike posts here above I still see this as a hobby-business as renhanuxe so clearly put it. (And with that, even more credit to Ragnar showing up as much as he does)

  8. You need to manually remove chaff/flares from AI flights not having pods. I know, just a workaround, but I think what Viggen is now is what we have to get used to as the finished module. If you want the AI to hit anything but mud with rockets you have to edit the files yourself. I know omeone having 56 edits to lua files to make this module somewhat useable in singleplayer. All DCS modules are strictly for multiplayer airquake sorry to say.

  10. Didn't we just conclude that a radar engineer isn't used for graphics/weather/flight models/maps etc? Or is the gameplay here to use this excuse when it suits? Maybe we see a sling of those project leads that think using 9 women will produce a baby in 1 month?

  12. You're in passive mode and radar dish is scanning silent while receiving jamming signals and showing current BP - all normal, been since start. This is how I mostly fly since a transmitting radar really don't show that much interesting info (unless I chase down some naval vessels).
  13. The manual has it as the rotary selecting flarebombs left/right or bomb release interval in meters etc. Edit: "Changes some of the aiming parameters such as impact intervals for bombs or wingspan of aircraft for the A/A sight, or the left / right offset on the illumination bombs. "
  14. With a 10km range in flight direction and a 5km to the side of launching plane I would assume it is capable of doing a 2.5km radius 180 degree turn minimum.
  15. Worked fine last time I tried against an Antonov. Are you on open beta maybe? (or should I try again, was a while) Edit: Nope, you're correct. In the missile definition there is "KillDistance = 0.0," so if you switch that one to "6.0" it will work. I guess this is a design choice since the missile should use different values depending on your selection in cockpit but is probably out of scope for the DCS engine. Since LUFT and MARK detonates the fuse by proxy and only SJÖ is penetrating the target before going poff I personally choose to use "KillDistance = 6.0," in my updated version of "DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\AJS37\Entry\Weapons.lua" (now at a total of 56 edits, many for looks only but a substational number of warhead/range/weights and other corrected values). If you choose to edit your copy too remember to keep the original to restore when going multiplayer - I've even created a csharp application to restore/update weapons.lua since over 50 values is a bit much to keep track off manually each DCS update.
  16. As someone who never even use the 120 in my missions I need to ask, having the current 120C why would you want an even longer ranged stick? Makes removing that hostile flight to begin with a matching solution. You don't happen to be active on the multiplayer arena by any chance?
  17. I'd guess the JA 37D falls under classified since half the stuff is JAS stuff (are you too impressed by my technical language?) But maybe the earlier JA 37C or the others could be viable. You know, monopulse SkyFlash sticks under wings, only 2 of them, flying along side of Sparrow-carrying F-15's in a amraam free environment. Old Style. Oh the never-to-come wonderful world of singleplayer.
  18. That's only 1.5 years ago, give them some slack. They are wonderful and will give us all in due time. I'm sure. or that's what I've been told over here. oh wait, and also it's in EA.

I'm with TLTeo, against long-range naval sam I just fly 10m over surface, takes me close enough to pop-up at 35 km or so and then scream away both Rb 04's followed by an aggressive turn/dive back to 10m running home like never before. Tried the same at 500m and got slapped in the face in no time so to my surprise radar horizon seems to be a thing in DCS. But in a none-solo-style approach Viggen is supposed to be flown in 4-ship giving the QuiGon scenario 3 anti-ship viggens and 1 ECM-escort with U22 and a dispenser pod (but I wound't fly one Rb 04 and one jammer no).
