Correct. But you can put AKAN gunpods on wings with those fuselage Rb 75's if you don't want all 4 mavericks there.

Thinking of buying, got a couple question...

My suggestion is that you wait 3 years. -

Rb 74 all aspect might be a ED issue (or is that rule that they do all missiles out the door?) Outer pylon doesn't have the cooling system needed but I'm all for options for others despite I rarely use that station at all flying more in AJ 37 era style (can we have AIM-4C ingame?). Center pylon is wet only and at best it can ferry a Rb04 (no wires to play with live ordnance) but again, I'm all for options so go ahead :) More livieries are always welcomed, even pink ones, but most I'd like the current set to accept editor assigned bort numbers. While at it I'd like to add U22 ability to play noise jammer when mode in "E" (not sure F/G/H/J/K band is doable in DCS). Target tracking heading/speed in SPA mode would be nice. Oh, and please restore the Rb 05 flare intensity.

This is a very well made module, go ahead. As folks above said, not too much content for it and I have to say I mostly use it on aerobatics servers but despite that I still recommend a purchase. First time you take off and keep your nose up until 15500m you get this feeling "who the hell need afterburners" (until you realise you're not THAT fast). Remember to use airbrakes when diving, you'll notice why.
-
ouch, that bad is it? Something is off when people are "forced" to become betatesters to fly in MP. While happy being a singleplayer dude I feel your situation (lost weekend and all).

Maybe you shouldn't be a beta tester?

*** AI J-35 Draken AI coming to DCS World!! ***
theOden replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
Not at all, to my understanding :) The Hughes 71N IRST was integrated with the radar and gave the option to control the sight indicator if the radar was "blind" from ground clutter or ECM (range was always by radar of course). -

Aboot half the J 35F version had IRST (called J 35F2 in Swedenland to distinguish them from "normal" J 35F1's) and was introduced since that era pulse radars had a really hard time to cope with low level targets and this IRST (from Hughes) did that particular job better. -
What makes you think he wants to work for HB? Good post lancerr.

Unlike most here you seem aware moonshot. As a Viggen customer I want to recommend you to not wait until 21st. Once/Twice is my reason to never ever buy the 14.

Good points Flamin_Squirrel, maybe the current level of details is too deep for what tools are available to reach there. Boris, good points too - only thing that will make ED and 3rd's to change is the customer base. Reading these boards I cannot see any reason for them to change in a looong time. We others only have one solution at hand, to walk away.
-
I'm sure you should expect a minimum of 2 years since that's what we Viggen customers are at now. I would expect the 14 to be more complex and with the viggens neverending bug/bugfix/bugisback/and-so-on maybe way longer than 2 years. Keep in mind, once you've given them your money it is nothing but a brutal cost to fix features and too late for you to walk away.
-
Yes, a third neutral coalition would be sweet as long as you can make them switch to red or blue by script like in ArmA.
-
Maybe some people consider DCS an entertainment software and eject their bombload and gives the dogfhight a try since they flown 20 mins of their evening already and feel comfortable that they actually aren't going to die. But yeah, maybe all server hosts can ban them?

That was among the most annoying pinball sounds I've heard in a long time. Midly amazed you hypes guys here will stand even 10 minute fights listeing to that. Adding to that the twitch culture.. no thanks.
-
Fixed that for you.
-
If they keep selling stuff before the product is finished that's what they are supposed to do, right? Looks weird when you people fall on your knees praising them when the add features they already sold but not yet delivered. Most of you guys come off as severe apologistas praising a vendor for no reason.

While showing graphs on internet is cool and all that trying this ingame you'll notice this "wall" people talk about comes after a 24 second period going from mach 1.6 to 1.85 (check that in the graph btw). Also this "rubberband" effect when speed almost reach 1.86 and jumps back to 1.85 to stay there could most surely add to folks preception of a wall. Good job there adding engine parameters to make this happen, I can only imagine what had to be done to manage that.

** DCS AJS-37 Development Update + Manual RC1 Release **
theOden replied to Cobra847's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
If I recognize your name correctly, will we see a campaign from you too one day? (op isbjörn, right?) -
While the Neustrashimy is pretty hard to kill it is still doable with a pair of Sea Eagles from an AI Tornado. I think one issue can be that anti-ship missiles in DCS uses a specific warhead definition "antiship_penetrating_warhead" (where Sea Eagle is set to 230) while the Viggen use the old "penetrating_warhead" only (with an impressive value of 700). Currently I would suggest using the Rb04 (and -15, since it has been given the same warhead for whatever reason) as an anti-runway weapon :)

I never imagined one could be that 1½ years down the line. When should one be allowed to expect a full module? 7 years, even more, maybe never? Can you PM me the day it's OK? Thank you in advance.
