  1. Weird. But can you reload from the previous profiles or are the saved inputs also gone? I mean, the .diff.lua files created for every device you set in X:\Users\User\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\P-51D-30-NA\joystick, those can usually be reloaded manually if you kept saved games folder safe and sound. Are those gone either?
  2. Of course, but not 20, 30 or whatever it has right now .
  3. Specially bearing in mind those will be WWII era Paris and London, not even close to their current counterparts, I think.
  4. Not even a PC-9 but a PC-21, so a bit far fetch, but better than nothing (I don't think a PC-21 will come any sooner, nor later for the purpose , than this one) but still nice good looking skin, it would be nice to have, close enough I guess,
  5. It's the other way around mate, it's a simulation because they depict what happened IRL, you got a harmonization (not a convergence) at factory already tested and thought to be the most lethal possible spread pattern for your weaponry, hence they mostly didn't touch it in the field besides obvious fixes and whatever. The other fake "convergence" in previous sims is BS . German harmonization is set to 600m, which for mostly nose mounted weapons in the 109 is more than fine, even in Dora it's more than fine, only in A-8 and particularly for outer wing cannons it can be a bit tricky but since those were mostly bomber interceptors again it's more than fine . Problem is not real life and simulating it, the real problem is how people get used to games so later on they think that's the real deal. Like people thinking movies are real life…
  6. You aren't alone, radars are complex and deeply modelled modern ones even more. Hornet radar can be tricky to master despite many tutorials and info everywhere. Give this a try, but there're plenty of them on YT,
  7. To clarify, yes, the real Me109K4 manual mentions them, but there's no single documental or photographic evidence of them ever used in K model 109. Hence, no gunpods in K model. The day we got a G model it must have it, of course.
  8. Looking awesome!! We all await eagerly this new warbird specially since it's something new and different than we're used to. Don't know why I really think we haven't seen this aircraft ever before since old style sims were pretty basic and lousy in that regard. I can't wait to experience this beast in a simulation level like DCS. It will definitely be a really welcome addition to the planeset .
  9. Have you tried Kneedboard builder app? It does all of that for you.
  11. If it's like current lights, you call ATC and they turn them on when there's an operation. I believe they don't get off the plane IRL to turn the lights on by themselves either .
  12. But it isn't that odd really, earlier Spitfire and Hurricane variants had exhaust stacks arranged two by two so you ended up seeing from the outside only 3 stacks even though it's the same V12 engine. Design choices for whatever reason.
  13. Yep, didn't recall that, some Petrovich like IA would be nice to have and probably will be able to do all that's being requested.
  14. Well, perhaps the problem is those "missing features" you point out, aren't features at all but items from the wishlist. Those "features" asked by some (only some, remember) might be nice but all of them mean thinking about single player, however Mosquito is a multiplayer module. Perhaps what you're asking for (and those asking for those "features") is a mate to fly online with, right?
  15. Maybe you just happened to open mission which just have the predictive sight on by default (some does), just turn it off. I don't like the German predictive sight either, it's really bad how it works and using a trackIr it's useless. Even with K14 one I always use the fixed one together with the predictive, without some fix reference it's just not usable, but German sight hasn't that option like American one.
  16. This, think about it mate .
  17. It's really easy mate, show a track where that bad behaviour you meant happens and we can see it .
  18. By the way, no Mach number but here are absolute speed limits (in knots) from Mosquito Pilot's Notes, easily converted since data is given, null
  19. 425 mph can be any Mach Number at any altitude. He's asking for Mach limit (structural Mach limit), if known.
  20. Even using a long stick (25cm here) without proper curves it's not that easy to fly mate. Try some proper curves and test the difference. It wasn't unstable at those situations you mention last time I flew it.
  21. Yep, they will, according to their words same as warbirds new damage model but for all ground units. IIRC they probably were intended to start with WWII stuff. Who knows when, of course.
  22. It's gorgeous as it is mate, just the few compromises to be taken due to current 3D model and texture's layout, but that's not on you whatsoever. You did an amazing job with an old model and it shows all it's glory despite the years it has on top. If it already looks good on the screenshots people are gonna melt down when they are able to see it in person, I can tell . To be honest, it's such a good job it should be included in the module as a default skin, @NineLine@BIGNEWY, it's a truly amazing job.
  23. It's where devs already said after Corsair release there'll be a MiG-21 v2.0 .
  24. If you've used the technique I told you (constant pedalling, dunno the name in English if there's one for that bush piloting technique) keep using it while landing. Don't know what exactly you might be struggling with while landing, but pedalling as a base for control is quite nice for tail draggers landings. Of course a TrackIR or any other visual control device helps, now with VR there's even a whole new level for that, but back in the day where the best we had was stick hat for controlling views the TrackIR was a total blast, like being no more stuck with your head in the cockpit looking anywhere with your own head. You'll see how useful such a device is, even in this VR era. Can't recall all the controls in game and their names, but there're different ones for zooming. The ones I usually use (setted in my stick BTW) are "slow zoom in" and out, they're usually at te very bottom of the controls' list for obvious reasons. They work either in cockpit and in external view. Don't know what problem are you having, but maybe you're using a different one meant for other things. Keyboard controls are usually there by default. If they don't show up you might need to reset your controls to get them back. Then you can reload your devices profiles so you don't have to set everything again one by one. It's load profile upper right corner, watch you're loading the profile for the module and control you need and not a different module since there you have a explorer and it can be pointed to any folder in saved games, not necessarily the one you're looking for. P-51 has TWO different controls folders for every variant, D-25 and D-30, you can set one of them (making sure you're in that variant in game if you're setting controls in cockpit) and copy the result folder to the other variant, it's the same. You can even copy that folder to TF-51 and it'll also work despite some controls aren't existing in TF. Check in your controls, axis controls, you have no duplicated axis in different devices, by default it's usual that happens.
  25. IIRC the manual says cowl flaps are automatic, you can control them manually by using the kinda hidden knob and it opens them further than auto, of course temps go lower despite in general there's no need for that and auto keeps it just fine, but if you want it back to auto once the knob is open the only thing you have to do is close the knob and it'll be auto again. I don't see anything unusual with regards to that behaviour compared to what you all are describing.
