  1. If present, open the .skins file for the appropriate aircraft, which AFAIK is like the F/A-18A/C, F-15C, and like the Su-25T. The .cmd file has all the texture assignments, and cannot be changed, at least the amount of skins. Granted... nobody's tried with adding textures to the .cmd file, but the general rule that the CLSID is what it "looks" for, and maybe hardcoded into the .exe file. Verdict? No, you cannot add skins. However, ED plans to allow more skins to be added through the .skins setup for ALL of the aircraft, or the vast majority.
  2. kay, I'll see what I can do. Got some touchup done, fixed a bit on the intakes, and.. the rear most air scoop I managed to catch. However the mapping on this thing is something else, so an expert with the Su-25T can show me where the other one is on the canvas?
  3. Loved the fart, but even at high speeds you just have to be aware. If you're running into TV masts, ships, and other assorted flora and fauna on a regular basis at high or low speeds, then maybe low level attacks aren't for you. Become a fighter pilot where there's plenty of sky to use and not get abused but always good videos DPS, thanks! :)
  4. No it was actually implemented and needed animation help if I remember correctly.
  5. Don't worry I'm trying to get those too, so thanks!
  6. Oh overall it's not difficult either way.
  7. As far as?
  8. Only question is, do you want the "1404" on the nose too? I can edit a nomera.tga but it will affect all versions (can't use the .skins file for that purpose) or you want it just on the tail?
  9. Like I said, it's just collecting dust so just give a holler...
  10. Pretty much, if I had any experience or actually 3DSMAX in a later version, I'd of course tackle it.... but seeing as I don't....
  11. I would think browsing the Verlinden products you'd get alot of reference. The Lock On books they produce can give some good photo shot references as well. I got a few somewhere, but not for what you're looking for.
  12. Thanks! :)
  13. Oh yeah, I just ghost every once in awhile, when I get bored with something I move around to other things and come back when I get bored with what I was doing. I kinda do the ouroborous schtick with games/sims. Been slowing down a bit, but still working on it: I think that the wings don't have really much of the dark brown, so I'll fill it in as necessary, and readjust near the tailfins..
  14. Yeah it did kinda come out that way, but I've been going through some stuff lately so it's cool man...
  15. Nowhere does it say I'm finished, and Kusch has final say on what it has.
  16. It's getting there slowly.
  17. lol I hope so :)
  18. If I remember correctly, the USAF doesn't even use them anymore, using a parachute system ("ballute") rather than the old fins.
  19. If you do some digging around the sites, you will see it's a proposal. This is actually old news though. Nice idea but looks pretty weird.
  20. Cool :)
  21. No problem :) This is more a pain than I thought it would be, but it's coming along :)
  22. lol thanks man, no problems, was a little bored anyways :)
  23. It's rough as I'm getting used to a more complex skin, but should be right...
  24. Back then maybe, but it's far different now, as you can't use a simple rangefinder as my Mark VII can't designate for a Paveway II or III, it's a coded beam that it homes on, not a simple laser pulse.
