  1. Public Affairs Office. It's pretty sure if pilot/CP/G was saying "Kill his ass" then it was internal comms recording, rather than transmitted. Then again when you're dealing with Aviation types in general, it's kinda expected to hear it over the radio, especially over normal comms traffic. Get in a hot situation and radio discipline tends to suffer sometimes, but what truly matters sometimes is making it happen rather than worrying about always what you say  I'd also like to point out that regardless of what opinion you hold of the American military, this really isn't the forum or place to really discuss it.
  2. It's bad enough as it is with just one aircraft, the Apache would be great, but let's get BS finished first
  3. Usually land about at 260-280, when in LNDG/NOC mode, it'll show it on the upper left. Personally I use the autothrottle for traps, keeps my mind off the throttle, and more on landing the bird. You can land with some ordnance but the less the better as well, and as said, practice practice..
  4. I tend to just fly around the mountains, though I use the Team KBT Super Hornet and downloaded a couple attack helos for helo training.
  5. CTRL + A, the more you press it, the more it speeds up. SHIFT + A brings it back to normal speed, and not sure if it slows it down, but at the speeds you can reach with CTRL + A it's hardly even necessary. Well good point AirTito, but realistically a carrier trainer Su-25 would be good for squad days when you just want to get somebody used to carrier ops, and when he/she is comfortable, then you start flying the big bird..
  6. English, this is the ENGLISH forum...
  7. Damn straight he does, more for the reference folder! :)
  8. As I posted on the Sim-mod forum.. I've been going through some personal issues as of this week, but they seem to be clearing up a bit, so I can get back on skinning it.
  9. I'd go for the Harrier myself, there isn't a good sim currently out there, and with the DCS capability, would be cool to add.
  10. lol somehow that's not surprising. LB2 was great and besides, the only time I've worked with Apaches was the RNLAF squadron that's stationed here. Fun people and while dry, was fun..
  11. I agree, when I was younger I was freaked to no end by those jokers. Besides, anybody who needs a nuke in a sim needs to perfect their ground attack skillz..
  12. Well there are reasons you don't let topics regarding flight sims onto other flight sim topics. The drama gets ported over to where it becomes a problem for the other flight sim. It's great that news of Fighter Ops is where it is, but seriously, shouldn't you all take it to the Fighter Ops forums?
  13. http://562.50megs.com/LOMAC/Tutorials/LGW.zip You can only use Laser Guided missiles and bombs, the link is my PDF Tutorial on it.
  14. Unfortunately there's a ship, a UAV, and a tank, doesn't outright mean that they're going to do that but probably what the intent is.
  15. I'm sorry, this is the English forum...
  16. If I remember correctly, there's alot of manuals still not available online, and I'm sure Matt could fanagle something, but that's crossing a line that I'm sure he doesn't want to, or really needs to. So there was talk about access to the A/C model Hornets (plenty of stuff online), and the SH was more or less newer, so an A/C Hornet is more feasible because of that.
  17. And considering I have nearly 1000 really good reference pictures, it shouldn't come out bad at all :D
  18. Right now as far as skinning is going, it's going. I've got one more area of the mapping to template, and by next week more and more screens will be popping up showing progress of those.
  19. Besides, there weren't many Hind sims to begin with, with the only known one (or more popular I guess) was Digital Integration's Hind back in the long day ago.... A DCS touch wouldn't hurt...
  20. Just noticed the post Aeroscout... that's my speculation (about the coding, and implementation), though the early shots of the F/A-18 model sparked interest, but Eagle or Matt never totally came around and told us how it was going to be implemented. Again either I just didn't pay too much attention or they really didn't say something, it was so long ago that I lost the original pictures..
  21. Um, the G model is a Super Hornet, not a Hornet, but then again an E or F wouldn't hurt :)
  22. F/A-18. The model is pretty much complete, and more than likely, the coding was either started or worked on before Ubisoft said "no". While the F-16 itself isn't shabby, it'd take longer than the F/A-18 anyways.
  23. Besides, there's SIM-MOD.com so it's not like it's going to be just ED doing all the work.
  24. Just taking it for a spin, a little status on the skinning that's all ;)
  25. Very nice Ironhand, though I've flown it a few times already (along with the Cacauscus tour) so it was good to get a little history on the area
