I guess that means no? :-)

UTC MK II now for over a month, and I love it! No more fights with the kids about them throwing to original clip somewhere and it getting damaged (again). It charges easily, and attaching it using velcro to my headset is foolproof. One suggestion for a future model would be an ON/OFF light as well. The switch itself is rather small.

Can we export the MFDs to a 2nd screen like the A10?
Koriel replied to Cowboy10uk's topic in AV-8B N/A
Txs!.. working on getting the Harrier installed in 2.2, and will try this solution in there and 1.58! -
/edit, see solution! Just Updated to 2.2 DCS logged in automatically and prompted me to install the purchasd modules. Big suprise there, I didn't see the AV-8B being available as an available modules. Not even for purchase. Tried the ME, and I can select the Harrier but only for AI or clients. In the openingscreen op DCS I am unable to log myself out in order to force (perhaps) a rescan of my modules.

But what file do I need to edit? d:\DCS 1.5 OpenBeta\Config\MonitorSetup\ has a few lua files, but since I only use 1 monitor I would guess I need to use the 1Camera.lua and there is no option for for either MPCD. -

My problem is slightly different, see screenshots: Right MPCD shows in the right top corner, but the left one does also, and when I display both they get superimposed on each other. What do I need to do to change the left MPCD to the left corner? I have a 3440x1440 display. -

Why do both MPCD's display on top of each other? /edit, guess it needs some explanation. I'm running a widescreen 3440-1440p monitor. I assigned for both the left and right MCPD screens ON/OFF a keybind. The right MCPD shows up as it should on the right top of my screen. When I want to see my left MCPD it shows up on top of the right MCPD. What file do I need to edit, and how should it look? Thanks in advance. -
Hope those are good things then. We'll wait, and I really appreciate you making all these other guides for us. I salute you!

I've managed to get the early bird 8K pledge without any addons. I wil later today, or eary tomorrow cancel my pledge. That means another spot in the early pledge which is limited ($50 discount) opens up. I don't know if it's possible, but perhaps some kind of arrangement can be made where a forum member and I settle on a time, I withdraw, and he/she picks up the spot in the early bird 8K. There are 2 reasons for my decision: I'm still confused to what I really need as far as base stations and such and I've never gotten a clear answer from Pimax. With this inside out tracking and such. So I'm a bit weary spending such an amount and later finding out I need to get the base stations or other addons. Second reason is that I've had the Rift for about a week and I got nausea when gaming and I've found the resolution to be lacking. I subsquently sold the rift again. I don't want to take the risk with the 8K without any real feedback from the community. I can always get it at a later date. I just set the private message options on the forum to send me an email. So just PM me with your own email or whatsapp number and we'll decide on a time to pull the plug for me and step in for you. No idea if this will work, but it's still a $50 discount.

Is Chuck already working on his guide? Can't wait for the release!

Well, I just got back into the Mirage a bit. I use 6DOF. I have bound snap keys however for when I start it up, INS panel and Radio area. Slew and zoom so you have it just the way you like it, save and use that for the intricate stuff. For all other things 3DOF with a zoom combo/axis should suffice. /Edit, Yes, buy it. And then save for a 6DOF tracker.. ;-)

Hartstikke bedankt, Thanks a lot, just got my Warthog, comes in handy!

These were left overs from a LAN meet, they were provided by, if I remember correctly, Carl Norman.

Hi there, Recently got divorced (No tears here, very amicable) And while sorting out my stuff I found 4 Flanker 2.0 t-shirts that were left from a LAN meet in the 90's... https://photos.app.goo.gl/TxxuYfFvHOkTpLp72 3 Mediums and 1 Large. They have never been worn, I just took out one to make the pictures and it's back in it's original packing as well. I'd like to send them out to those who want one for the cost of shipping and packaging. Please email me at jeroen at wedda dot nl if you're interested. Not trying to make money, just don't want them thrown away if there are people who want them.

I got the rift 3 days ago, and to say the least, I am not impressed at all. Framerate seems to be ok to play, but I miss soo much detail... None of the guages are readable, certainly not the mfd in the Mirage.. I really want to give it a chance, but what do I need to do in order to be able to read the darn instruments? i7 3770, 16G, 1080 Pro's excellent headtracking. headtracking - mouse combination is superb Sense of being there is good. Con's Can't read the darn instruments!! I have the Oculus Tray Tool installed, tried with ATW off and On.

I am wondering how far along development is on the Harrier when compared to the Mirage when it was released in early access. I have a feeling that system implementation on the Harrier is further along when compared to the Mirage. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Txs, will see if I still can get a decently priced 1070... Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Hi, Just saw the rift being on sale. Since my major new PC is being postponed indefinitely, i was thinking that perhaps a GFX card upgrade to my current setup might land me into VR territory. I have a 5 yr old PC. i7 3770 @3.40Ghz 16GB DDR3 @800Mhz GTX 680 Would replacing the 680 with say a 1060 or 1070 get me into the minimum specs for VR?

Let's hope they don't overdo things again.. It's really nice to have these effects, but just because you have it doesn't mean you have to implement it over the top. (Wingtip vortices etc.. ) And Razbam guys, I have so much respect for you!. Awesome plane, awesome development speed (from what I can see) and the way you guys keep us in the loop is even more awesome!

So i guess it all depends on the resolution and plane being used.. ;-)

I love this. Together working on solving issues... Now we just need ED to implement it! -
Mouse cursor relative to cockpit. Proposed change
Koriel replied to Koriel's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Implementation wise there there could be several ways to do it. With the rotating switches you need both left end right mouse button. But like I mentioned before, most mouses have multiple extra buttons any which one could be used to center the mouse cursor or draw attention to it. One could even think about changing the cursor's art a bit depending on what kind of switch it's hovering over. Or just turn it into a (small) left/right hand depending on what side of the pit you're working on. You are right there, didn't think about that part of the issue yet. Perhaps somebody else can come up with a solution to that problem? Btw, you have a boodschap.. ;-) -
Mouse cursor relative to cockpit. Proposed change
Koriel replied to Koriel's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Yup, I have been exploring VR and it's pro's and con's for a while now in anticipation of a major upgrade. I think that my proposal has merit and could really make things easier. I work in a cockpit for a living, and when I program my FMS, or the autopilot or any other system it's soo much easier then when I do the same in FSX or P3D.. The same goes for DCS. Managing systems in DCS takes up a lot more effort compared to real life. For me personally I want the experience of flight in a flight-sim. I dont want to spend energy on keeping my head centered, turning track-ir off and on in order to perform something that is very low impact in real life, and would be performed without even thinking about it.
