  1. From Faye Scio:
  4. I appreciate you answering my questions and elaborating. I guess once I'm back home I'll be spending a bit more time inn the -39.
  5. Glad to read that a lot of improvements have been made with this module wrt multi-crew operation. Can you elaborate a bit on how you set up this mission? There are 4 options when you use multicrew, ie equal responsibility or instructor, what did you use? And with the other pilot in control, could you retract the gear or flaps for instance? In previous versions things like a running engine, or gear/flaps would not sync at all. I did notice that the EGT in the back pit didn't work either. I think this module doesn't get the attention it deserves, and properly working multicrew could improve that a lot.
  6. Sedenion and Rlaxoxo have both contributed quite a bit to the Mirage already, I think Sedenions fixes should be incorporated as were Rlaxoxo's keybindings. Both deserve their own +1's
  7. Could you clarify which month or year?
  8. +1
  9. apart from deleting that file, I also used one of the new input lua files from either Rlaxoxo or sedenion. Rlaxoxo file has a lot of useless stuff ripped out, sedenion's file is more inline with DCS default keybindings.
  10. Razbam stated in their interview that they want to keep things playable, so when the INS works, no 8 minute alignment..
  11. I have the Saitek rudder pedals pro, and I can slam the throttle on the runway and the plane goes nearly straight... That part of the patch worked perfectly. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks!! Was just flying the Mirage and had like 6 or 8 red lines again.. radar range, etc... losing bindings etc... /edit.. Had to rework a few key assignments and change m Hotas setup, but wow!!!.. finally I can make this jet work for me! I must say that as far as these key assignments go I was pretty disappointed with this patch. Thank You!
  13. You paid for a Mirage, true. However the Mirage has not been officially released. Right now its status is BETA. That means that there will most likely be minor and major issues. I can emphasize with your frustration, we all have it, since it's still quite buggy. A patch with quite a few fixes is on the way.
  14. They can shift their focus on other tasks if you ask me.. F-18, new maps etc... I doubt with these prices that using a Rift will become common this year. Might pick up later in 2017.
  15. Here in Holland including shipping it's €741.. that's close to $800.. It's even more expensive here.. Very disappointed that I didn't fund Kickstarter back in the days.. I was thinking about it then. But now? With this price? I'll wat for CV3 Value Edition or a cheap chinese copy.. I guess developers won't be as enthusiastic about implementing the Rift into games anymore either..
  16. I truly enjoy the Mirage, some big things are already fixed, just waiting for release. The devs have received some good feedback from the community about systems and some really good bug analysis. I have the feeling that by releasing this module in it's current state will actually increase it's development speed. I was considering not buying this module after my experiences with the Veao Hawk, What also played a role is that I can't keep on buying all modules. I just don't have the time to get proficient at the ones I already own (all). And with the F5 and F14 and perhaps even the Viggen already on my whishlist I need to make choices. But boy am I glad I bought this one! I might end up cleaning up my hanger by throwing out the Hawk and the WW2 planes. I don't fly them, and I'm not sure I will in the future. The Hawk was great fun to fly initially, it was new. But with hardly any improvements since release, and no multi-crew (which was not promised, but I was rooting for) it's the only module I end up regretting buying.
  17. I know the feeling of accomplishment when you get something like that working,, ;-) Congratulations... And within a few months we can get the Rift if all goes well. I really wonder how we can effectively use the rift with the keyboard we need to use as well.. My Hotas just doesn't have all the buttons available... Unless using the mouse works a lot easier in VR.
  18. You can find it by doing a search under the Mirage control settings. It's way quicker than replying to a thread and waiting for an answer..
  19. Before new years eve was mentioned... So I read that as before the evening begins... But with LN's track record I wouldn't count on it. Hope I'm wrong.
  20. Stick travel is completely different for different airplanes. I see in the pit that the Mirage stick actually has quite a small range. The F16 stick is quite a bit less even.. ;-). But when you see a cockpit video of the MiG29 that you'll see quite a bit more travel being possible. On planes that I have flown it sometimes suprises you what the same deflection of a stick does to a plane. Some older planes you could really throw the stick all around and just experience a wobble. This goes for gliders, single engine planes, multi-engine turboprop and jet aircraft. Generally on newer planes the effect when moving the controls is quite a bit more pronounced. And don't forget the effect speed has on control feel and responses. On smaller planes without any compensation it can double the force required for the same stick travel.
  21. I was responding to his general statement regarding momentum and inertia in all DCS planes. I think it's been improved over the years but still doesn't feel right somehow. I'll have to think and fly a bit to see if I can come up with a good example of what I mean. For now I can say that for some planes it feels like they are rotating around their COG and any quick, and large flight control input and subsequent release makes the plane "snap" back towards it's original attitude like there's no inertia and momentum to overcome. And to answer your question, No. I don't adjust any axis on my X52 Pro.
  22. I am in full agreement with you on this one!
  23. I'll join the crowd expressing our thanks on this very informative guide you have written. I have used your guide to get me proficient in the Huey, and I'll be using this one for the Mirage. I would even suggest to Razbam to include this in the next update or final release. Your rep has been bumped up by 1 again!
  24. Hoi there down south.. :) If we can sleep up there, we might as well be reading as well... Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  25. Hard at work, but have some spare time to study the Mirage..
