  1. +!
  2. I thought for a while that Heatblur had their own solution, just like their groundradar. I could be completely mistaken ofcourse. (It's happened before.. ;-) ) I guess it's time to fly the -39 again and figure things out myself.
  3. I must say I haven't flown the L-39 in ages.. The whole process of entering a plane, making sure everything is synchronized was very frustrating. And once everything was set up correctly, during a flight some de-synchronization problems would pop up again and again. Whenever an update comes out I keep an eye out for any mention of network/ multi crew code updates mentioned in the update log. And I can't recall seeing anything for a very long time now. Nor has ED mentioned any progress/ planes for stable multicrew network code. However seeing that Belsimtek is now actively building 2 multicrew addons and there is still the promise/expectation of multicrew in the Huey. I expect some improvements have been made. I would just like some more detail.
  4. FPS went in same mission without fix 90-100 fps, with fix around 37/38. So deleted fix
  5. What have you done to troubleshoot? Have you tried a repair of either installation?
  6. Poor judgement in building hype for a non standard DCS Module. If it was just an announcement with the reason for it's development explained the community wouldn't have judged this imminent (?) release so hard. But who can blame everyone? From the devs of the MiG-21 everyone had expected something extraordinary, not euhm.. this... We expected a BANG and got a fizzle.
  7. I guess that means no? :-)
  8. UTC MK II now for over a month, and I love it! No more fights with the kids about them throwing to original clip somewhere and it getting damaged (again). It charges easily, and attaching it using velcro to my headset is foolproof. One suggestion for a future model would be an ON/OFF light as well. The switch itself is rather small.
  9. Txs!.. working on getting the Harrier installed in 2.2, and will try this solution in there and 1.58!
  10. /edit, see solution! Just Updated to 2.2 DCS logged in automatically and prompted me to install the purchasd modules. Big suprise there, I didn't see the AV-8B being available as an available modules. Not even for purchase. Tried the ME, and I can select the Harrier but only for AI or clients. In the openingscreen op DCS I am unable to log myself out in order to force (perhaps) a rescan of my modules.
  11. But what file do I need to edit? d:\DCS 1.5 OpenBeta\Config\MonitorSetup\ has a few lua files, but since I only use 1 monitor I would guess I need to use the 1Camera.lua and there is no option for for either MPCD.
  12. My problem is slightly different, see screenshots: Right MPCD shows in the right top corner, but the left one does also, and when I display both they get superimposed on each other. What do I need to do to change the left MPCD to the left corner? I have a 3440x1440 display.
  13. Why do both MPCD's display on top of each other? /edit, guess it needs some explanation. I'm running a widescreen 3440-1440p monitor. I assigned for both the left and right MCPD screens ON/OFF a keybind. The right MCPD shows up as it should on the right top of my screen. When I want to see my left MCPD it shows up on top of the right MCPD. What file do I need to edit, and how should it look? Thanks in advance.
  14. Hope those are good things then. We'll wait, and I really appreciate you making all these other guides for us. I salute you!
  15. Happy it's still in the works. I donated some money a while back so this is good to hear. I'll just leave this here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4a4gPBWrUI
  16. I've managed to get the early bird 8K pledge without any addons. I wil later today, or eary tomorrow cancel my pledge. That means another spot in the early pledge which is limited ($50 discount) opens up. I don't know if it's possible, but perhaps some kind of arrangement can be made where a forum member and I settle on a time, I withdraw, and he/she picks up the spot in the early bird 8K. There are 2 reasons for my decision: I'm still confused to what I really need as far as base stations and such and I've never gotten a clear answer from Pimax. With this inside out tracking and such. So I'm a bit weary spending such an amount and later finding out I need to get the base stations or other addons. Second reason is that I've had the Rift for about a week and I got nausea when gaming and I've found the resolution to be lacking. I subsquently sold the rift again. I don't want to take the risk with the 8K without any real feedback from the community. I can always get it at a later date. I just set the private message options on the forum to send me an email. So just PM me with your own email or whatsapp number and we'll decide on a time to pull the plug for me and step in for you. No idea if this will work, but it's still a $50 discount.
  17. Is Chuck already working on his guide? Can't wait for the release!
  18. It's not that, I said so in the first post. And yes you are correct, DCS ALWAYS gets it wrong, always have to invert the axis. What I am talking about is that when you have some speed, the plane seems to decelerate as if you are braking quite gently. It's my feeling that when you are in idle trust, and doing 30kts ground speed it should take a lot longer to lose the speed (If any at lower weights) than it's currently being simulated in game. I fly 65T+ planes myself with a lot lower t/w ratio and when I'm light I'm having to use the brakes in order not to get an alert on our flight data monitoring... which kicks in at 31 kts I believe... I'll bet that the Mirage even in idle has a lot more t/w ratio compared to mine, so I believe that ground drag is way overmodeled.
  19. Got a new PC, getting back into the M2k after a while. I noticed that I require quite a bit of thrust to start moving, and when going back to idle the plane decelerates and stops way too quick. A plane of about 10 tons with idle thrust shouldn't slow down as quickly as it does in game. And yes I checked that my brake axis are all set up correctly. I talked it over with some people online and they assume (?!) it's going to be fixed with the new flight model. I am not so sure and would like to raise the issue.
  20. Well, I just got back into the Mirage a bit. I use 6DOF. I have bound snap keys however for when I start it up, INS panel and Radio area. Slew and zoom so you have it just the way you like it, save and use that for the intricate stuff. For all other things 3DOF with a zoom combo/axis should suffice. /Edit, Yes, buy it. And then save for a 6DOF tracker.. ;-)
  21. Hartstikke bedankt, Thanks a lot, just got my Warthog, comes in handy!
  22. These were left overs from a LAN meet, they were provided by, if I remember correctly, Carl Norman.
  23. Hi there, Recently got divorced (No tears here, very amicable) And while sorting out my stuff I found 4 Flanker 2.0 t-shirts that were left from a LAN meet in the 90's... https://photos.app.goo.gl/TxxuYfFvHOkTpLp72 3 Mediums and 1 Large. They have never been worn, I just took out one to make the pictures and it's back in it's original packing as well. I'd like to send them out to those who want one for the cost of shipping and packaging. Please email me at jeroen at wedda dot nl if you're interested. Not trying to make money, just don't want them thrown away if there are people who want them.
  24. I got the rift 3 days ago, and to say the least, I am not impressed at all. Framerate seems to be ok to play, but I miss soo much detail... None of the guages are readable, certainly not the mfd in the Mirage.. I really want to give it a chance, but what do I need to do in order to be able to read the darn instruments? i7 3770, 16G, 1080 Pro's excellent headtracking. headtracking - mouse combination is superb Sense of being there is good. Con's Can't read the darn instruments!! I have the Oculus Tray Tool installed, tried with ATW off and On.
