No one from Magnitude read this forum, or no one is capable of writing any answer other than "wait, untill its done". Really no one?? Should I think this dev studio with all the members are on vacation without internet connection? or is Magnitude almost dead 3rd party studio? Come on Mag, give me some. Do ED know what "mess" have they among missile drag indexes, missile guidance?? why AIM120 datalink support and why sometimes LOFT and sometimes not?? (Lately I get new idea of the drag, may be drag indexes are right, but the density function of air thrue its height is not correct. May be its to dense at sea level) -Do not repsond.

I have to report bug with ARH Missile seaker FOV (present in DCS for long time, now tested again in Open Beta). This is not bug of Hornets RWR, but at least AIM120 missile seaker FOV. Currently AIM120 can guide itself without datalink support, but with very poor guidance logic and huge drag coeficient, luckyly it can still compare with R27ER and R77. Its really snaping my balls! Can post track, but I think, no really need for this. Every one can test this with ease. Forum admin, please make new threat reporting section for Game itself, where we can report bug as this one. Or AMRAAM missile guidance. Hello, Dear Leatherneck, can you give us any update of new cockpit or external 3D model (Corrected size of 490L external fuel tanks)? You already stated in Spring Update that: "It’s progressing slowly and there are some issues that need to be dealt with before release." We are aware of this, but would be nice to know that things are progressing and may be we could expect some nice surprise before the end of this year. :thumbup:

I was searching forum of any evidence of when we will get additional radar control features (not talking about Ground mapping and TWS mod). A rather talking about functions like EXPAND LEVELS, SPOTLIGHT scan, moving L/R with narrow azimuth scan, Differential altitude next to the elevation caret (my plane/target) when in STT, you will probably know more features still missing. I gues there there is no date (so this year, next year, 2021?). I really missing this features and I would love to have them. These would make radar control and final sorting much easyer. :music_whistling:

No matter what plane, there needs difference in acceleration with wings generating lift - holding plane in air, and acceleration at 0.0G.

How to accelerate fast enough but without grat loos of alt? Everybody knows that this is done by UNLOAD, best to 0.0G but even 0,3 - 0,4G is enough. I was trying to do it, but no matter how much I unload, I have feeling that plane acceleration was very very slow and almost the same with level (1.0G) flight. Only little bit faster due to loss of 2000 feet. This is not report of bug, but could be, if I know how to meassure ammount of acceleration in DCS properlly. So if you want to make good thing for DCS, please try it and devise the acceleration measurement. Many thanks :thumbup:

I was trying go really fast, but something was holding me back. So I jettisone all external tank but with very small amost negligible effect. Than I jettisoned OUTER externals with only single AIM-120C (next mission also double rack). Only and than the F18 started to really accelerate and almost extra 100 IAS. WHAT? HOW? jettisoned tanks did almost nothing, and slim streamlined AIM120 boosted jet like SpaceX Dragon? Cannot be thruth...and yes it is, look on these picture. So ED check Drag indexes, would be best for all racks and munitions. Thanks very much. 3 tanks + 2xdouble aim120 rack = 510 IAS 1 tanks + 2xdouble aim120 rack = 542 IAS 0 tanks + 2xdouble aim120 rack = 565 IAS -> Sum of 3 LARGE FULL tanks = extra only 55 KTS 0 tanks + 0xdouble aim120 rack = 662 IAS -> Outer stores give me extra 97KTS!!!

Great plane with awesome history, wish to have it. But I will NOT buy, untill the Hornet is complete. Development of Hornet features is so slow (TGP, TWS, Ground radar, Harpoon,...), I will never support other projects, till the current projects are complete. We learned from history, not only the ED one. With this politics, Viper get its all features at 2022. At that time the Phantom will be in process.

Without EXPAND radar mod, sometimes it is very difficult to lock proper target...hope we will soon get it. But still, I think, it should work like one document descibes: "...placing the center of the ACQ symbol over the contact you wish to lock but biased away from any undesired contact. The radar will attempt to lock the closest return to the center of the cursor position." What is your experience and Sorted Lock technique?

TESTED For me only F/A-18C missions crashed. I changed aircraft for F-14B and mission WORKS. I managed to run with this edit two missions I cant play because of bug before. So it is closely connected to HORNET -

If you are told, what is where, it is still not as good as you can see it from the pit, not to watch printed map. I ment, the result could be like this: -
If have an idea, that if there can be added the green circles in tutorial mission indicating where you have to fly. Can we have NTTR bordes done like this? For example in F10 comm menu to toggle this virtual bordes of all MOAs (with its name in the center) ... It could be awesome for all players to better know the MOAs and dont get lost in the missions. PLEASE PLEASE, somebody :drunk:

No response from ED side at all? I assume that better elevation detail without zoom will cause higher PC demands. But what if have that PC that can handle it? Why I need to watch those "not very nice" scenery if there can may be done some Graphic setting option to be able set my best? :thumbup: Most of the pilot fly this map at morning or dusk? Because only than the shadows will give the map feel of plasticity and elevations. I know that this is partly based on real nature effects and I can see these effects every time I get airborne myself. But why to make the elevation feel around the noon even worse? :doh: This picture not from noon, but still the hills are flat. With zoom hills will raise, but the texture in zoom is awful. -
NTTR Charts Topo Maps Deserve Update

Am I alone, who wants to have correct topo map charts? It it so hard to download them and make the united and solid? (if you have red layer over the map, go right top corner for setting and turn off : "Turn map boundaries") or there: https://www.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html Im sure that DCS paid for those they are using... so it have to be even better. But why there isnt? Please ED, can you do something with that till the end of this year, PLEASE. -
Is there somebody reading this? Any reply from ED staff? No? SA-19 is so deadly in DCS. Defending it would be possible if the rocket engine have the same amount of smoke like a real thing have. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, ADJUST THE SMOKE !!! :helpsmilie:

The danger of manually disabling the MLC is that a lot of false targets in the MLC can get processed as tracks by the WCS, both placing unneccesary load on the computer and also using up the limited number of tracks it can hold. Not sure if this is currently modelled, if not, it will be. Thanks very much for clearing things up. Can you please writte down here, after WCS overloading is implemented? So far, as I understand to MLC filter, it can(will) help you only in PD Search or RWS mode? When it comes to radar lookdown situation.

I have a question for you Naquaii, should switching MLC filter OFF affect the processing of returned signals by WCS - and denning to generate TRACKS in TWS? Should it also affect the RWS signal processing? My experience from testing is telling me, that switching it OFF gives me extra few knots for Doppler gate, where I can still detect notching target, without of affecting TWS, RWS functionality (Notching targets were lower than me, behind them was sea (water). I was able to generate tracks and fire AIM54 in TWS mode against almost notching targets.

Hi, I would like to have MFD buttons scripted to be able control JESTER in F-14B and its BVR commands. For example with one buttond press, the start of key sequence: "A,Ctrl+3,Ctrl+5" I was trying last night to make this scripting on my own, but this is abolutely off my knowledge. PLEASE can somebody help me and show me, how exactly to do this?

Another few mission flown and this feature is from my perspective, the one with highest WISH priorities. Couple of large MP mission failed, because we didnt have core tactial info about FUEL available onboard of tankers. -

Thanks very much Mustang, terrainoptions41.lua helped a lot. But in the end, this is a mod and I would like to read a respond from DCS developers, that they are aware of this problem and will solve this ASAP.
