  1. Yes, because it's not matter od DCS, but system. DCS takes list of controllers from system. And system recognize each USB device separately. I have 3 TM Coguar MFD frams and each of them is separate device.
  2. Not possible. To make life easier you can configure modifier button as switch, so - 1 press and it changes functions, 1 press and it switches off. Second option is using some of the on-off switches on WH throttle as modifier to turn off/on modifier.
  3. Multiplayer snyc is still a big issue. From my exprience the only proper way to spawn into plane is - pilot spawns first, he touches NOTHING, even not closig canopy, then CPS spawns and reports to pilot he's in cabin and then all works fine. When flying on dedicated server as clients we bothe receive RLWR warnings. If CPG spawns when pilot started start-up procedure, all avionics will be messed up.
  4. If you're intrested in proper case procdures I can only sugest to ignore SC manual, because it's wrong in many places. Download PDF called Aircraft Carrier Operating Procedures for DCS v01.8 - you'll find there detailed description of CVN procedures and Cases.
  5. It would be great if I use "refuel and rearm" window, but won't change any loadout, just take more fuel, the whole process wouldn't do "virtual" rearming and just after refuling would let me go on.
  6. From other discussion new idea has born. In Case III comms with Marshal during recovery phase, when I call inbound and receive marshalling instructions, it would be nice to have option "Unable push time", informing marshall that I can't make it on time, and marshall would change push time another 5 or 10 minutes.
  7. That's why you should verify if you have LTD/R on top of the HUD before each drop. According to some experts that feature was needed with older TGPs, where it was easy to overheat laser.
  8. Oh, so in your opinion 95% of players, who just want to fly a mission will have to waste time on holding, because 5% of players (including you) want to practise. You don't want to ignore push time for practis, but you tell others to do so. Sounds like legit argument. IMO good compromise would be adding to comms option "Unable push time" and AI LSO would move the time another 5 or 10 minutes. Or better 30 mins for people who want to "practice".
  9. IMO it's not matter of fun, but safety sometimes. If you have to land in heavy condition, after 2-3 bolters, with low fuel, you might to want to choose ACLS landing.

  13. No, it's nothing new. Also, in addition to what Yurgon said - camera lense and laser lense are not in this same place on TGP. There is possibility, that you can see a terget, but laser can't.
  14. Not true. It works in any module. I use it with Hornet, Viper, Apache. There's just problem with DCS reading starting positions of buttons when you enter cockpit. So the solution is - when you enter the cockpit, cycle throttles off-idle-off, so the DCS know what is the position of the buttons.
  15. I guess tutorial show setting up different mission, than Wags flew (which really is misleading). Again - I guess, we'll set TACAN and ICLS as we do now, and setting LINK 4 frequency will work - in tutorial it wasn't changed, in mission Wags' flew it was.
  16. Maybe on FREE Stennis? Looks like we cane loose MIDS VOC, because ED didn't now we use in on SRS or they don't care, because SRS is independed mod. I guess tutorial showed only new features, and settinf TACAN and ICLS will be this same as it was.
  17. What do you mean by MIDS is not cofigurable? MIDS voice channels VOC A and VOC B work perfectly ok with SRS and we use it all the time!
  18. If you want to practice, ignore AI marshall and hold as long, as you want. If you want to practice Case 3, it's impractical to hold when stack is empty. If you want full stack, add AI flights. What about people who don't want to "practice" holding? On every mission they'll need to hold non sense empty pattern?
  19. From last or second to last patch something broke with HARMS. ~50% of shots miss. Regardless of launch mode (TOO or PB). Radar is active all the time (no scripts turning radar off etc). It's not "random 'realistic' inaccuracy", it's very repetitive error - HARM land slong (behind the target from direction of launch), always ~200 ft. My and my friends exprienced that bug in SP and MP numerous of times. I set up simple and short mission. You can fly it yourself, you can play my track. It's always this same. HARM1.trk
  20. @Wags @BIGNEWY Hi, great video about ACLS for Hornet, I'm really waiting for next patch. Could you please clarify details about the system: 1. How do we configure MIDS if all D/L "page" on UFC has changed and looks like dedicated to ACLS? 2. Will it be possible to manually enter Case 3 Marshall data (stack, radial, push time) for online missions with player Marshall or/and... 3. Will it be possible to configure Link 4 Marshall info by player acting as Marshal on SC (for example on PLAT cam)? 4. Will AI LSO's grading on SC be fixed? After ACLS landing, which should ba and looks perfect grading is...
  21. No one said you should fly 300 kts to your marshall. Fly 450. Slow down just befor marshall. If marshall stack is empty, why holding? You don't need to wait for separation, if you're on time you can even comence stright in.
  22. There is A GREAT video of new animations and light wands. It looks awesome, but... @BIGNEWY it looks like deck crew in idling animation has wands on and just makes "background noise". Wands should be only on crew members directing a plane at the moment, to not confuse anyone. PS
  23. Actaually desired wind over deck is 25-30 kts.
  24. Jammer priority is what we have now - radar is shut off for best results in jamming. Radar priority let's radar wor with less quality of jamming (and detecting hits by radar). It's this same in Viper.
