I don't know about A-10C, but in Hornet for now tanker TACAN works ok WITHOUT A/A mode active.

Funny thing, I just played a bit with tankers i ME and with A/A mode of TACAN on Hornet I couldn't find any tanker (no fix - bearing, nor DME), but without A/A it workd, including DME.

I supposed it won't get fixed (the launch bar binding), since they didn't fix binding issues for A-10C for years.

No. You have to launch missiles in separation of 20-30 seconds (or more), than HARM have time to change target, but best way is take out tracking radar first, then you can hit search radars even with gun

Override function is connected with weapon release - it changes behaviour of weapon release button when you're locked. So it by default is turned off when you're A/G and have to disable override manually. In A/A it doesn't matter, because you use different button.

There is no such thing as "threat radar". What do you mean by that? RWR? RWR is not a radar! IMO it's correct. You launch A/A weapons withe a trigger, A/G with weapon releas, so in A/A mode there is no possibility of unwanted HARM release.

Thanks for the info, didn't know about D-ILS, but... As I did some digging, first units&training where delivered in 2019. In 2021 it's still cosidered a new system and is introduced to new parts of US military. As we know DCS's newest modules are based on planes from years 2000-2010. So still D-ILS wouldn't be correct for DCS. PS And still this is D-ILS, not D-ICLS, and US Hornets doesn't have ILS. PS2 IMHO ED should implement canadian Hornets (we have liveries) with option to choose in mission editor to use ILS or ICLS. It shouldn't be to much effort.

There is no such thing as "portable ILS". Airbases where Navy Hornets land/operate they have ICLS installed on land. But installation ILS/ICLS is a long complicated process with dozens of tests and tuning. You can't just drive a truck on the base and set it up.

Up-down trimm is much depended on your speed. Faster you fly, plane will have nose up tendency. Slower you fly - nose down. You need to use your trimm all the time.

No. Simple most of the DCS players don't play with a controller. If they do, they use LotATC. On the other habe in th emission configuration you can simply turn on fog of war.

There is LotATC, that most of "harder" core squadrons use and it works great. I don't think ED will make something like these in predictable future. If you want to play with "real" AWAC/GCI buy server licence for LotATC, then clients (players) can log into AWACS slot without payed licence.

First of all it is important for any more advanced online missions, it will allow to use two channels with 2** MHz frequencies (this same benefit as it would be added to Viper). Secondly - it was one of the main features advertised while selling us the A-10C II module/upgrade. If you'd buy a car and wouldn't get some less important feature would you ignore it, or would you go to a dealer demanding delivering as advertised?

And very important thing to remember - RWR doesn't show "someone is locking you"! It shows, that it receives tracking signal from radar, but it doesn't necessery mean it tracks you. It can be plane far behind you or far in front of you. I had situation when RWR showed lock from fight that took place over 120 nm from me, I just was in a stright line from emiting radar locking some one over there.
