  1. I don't think the prices are too high at all, not for the work that goes into them. I happily pay full price for stuff I really want like the Hawk, most of the modules in fact. It is just Human nature to want to save money however, we all know sales come around regularly which is why people are happy to wait for the modules they don't want urgently to get them for less money. I got the MI8 in the sale for instance, I probably wouldn't have purchased it otherwise so everybody wins.
  2. "The crew didn't brake" Interesting, shame to see such a nice looking little jet destroyed, I really like the twin seat Gripens. Glad the crew were unharmed though.
  3. I'm definitely down for an F-18 grip!
  4. Here you go, just so you know for next time. In this case you would press the youtube button on here (advanced reply options) and quote this little part of the video URL.. 3W4d5Pcvpp8.
  5. Yeah, I thought so.
  6. I love the T-50b, and it does look a lot like the F-16. It is a great little jet also, I saw the Golden Eagles display at RAF Waddington and they were nothing short of spectacular. They won best performance of the day with good reason. Maybe we'll see one in DCS down the line.
  7. Most of us here do, welcome to the party, seems you're joining at a very good time.
  8. Yeah, the threads a joke, probably why the op is banned. Still, sure would be nice to have this in DCS...
  9. I would probably pay that, the problem is that we get screwed over on currency conversions etc, so it works out to about $1100 here. I love the look of the rog swift, but the thought of stuff like this being available for the same price soon enough is preventing me pulling the trigger.
  10. Very close to buying the Rog Swift again! I've been here a few times over the last year or so. The only thing putting me off is the thought of things like this becoming more affordable short term... Thoughts any body?
  11. That linked comment made me grin like a Cheshire cat! I'm sure the F-16 will turn up sooner or later, but it sure would be nice to have it. I read this a lot but I just don't get this argument. I'm not going to detract from the Falcon 4 mods which are impressive. But DCS World is my choice of sim and I'd like the Viper in it. The fact somebody else has created another sim, no matter how good is no reason for ED not to try and better it imo, because if anybody can, it is them. For now they are hard at work on the base of their sim, DCS2 and the new scenery that will accompany it. Once that is all sorted and stable, maybe we'll start seeing new modules more frequently, I reckon the F-16 is a prime candidate, the comment Skate posted above seems to back that up. :D
  12. Yep, how about getting it 3D printed or something Leatherneck?
  13. All of this was 100% awesome! Thank you for posting, I'm very excited. Also, am I the only one who wants this in Kit/figure form? Nice canvas to play around with some paint.
  14. Well I'm looking forward to the PFM on the Hawk, shouldn't be too long now. There is still a lot there to have fun with for now though.
  15. The Hawk is great fun, the guys averse to trainers are very much missing out imo. I'm looking forward to the L-39 and the new features it is bringing to DCS personally.
  16. This was an amazing newsletter imo, loved all the videos they linked in. That fast and low F-15 really got me excited again, can't wait!!
  17. It is also possible wags had to dial down the detail to get it running smooth enough for a public video at this stage, we just don't know until we see the final product.
  18. There was another interview with Matt in this months PC pilot, some good stuff but one thing stood out to me.... Over wing Vapor confirmed! He also mentioned that within the next 5 years he hopes DCS will have dedicated arenas such as WW2, Korea and even Vietnam.
  19. There is lots of point. I'd love to have all of the proper environments and settings etc. But even as it stands DCS is unsurpassed in terms of fidelity and flight models etc. I have hd more than enough fun simply learning and flying some of these airfcraft to make them good purchases for me. Once DCS2 is out and we start seeing more scenery etc, things will only get better.
  20. As much as I'm a supporter of modding etc, this seems fair enough to me, even if it is just an assumption for now. ED are a relatively small company, they need to make money, if they don't, we have no more DCS: World, simple. I'll happily support them, and if they choose to allow community maps later on, well that's just fine also.
  21. It is pretty difficult to try and go back to FSX now. I'm sure we'll see one eventually for DCS.
  22. VEAO are planning to make a heavy, the Airbus A330 MRTT Refueller.
