Yeah, that was a great show. It's one of the few things that has stayed permanently recorded on my tivo box, I may watch it again later actually. There was a flyby in it that made the hairs stand on end...

Yeah mine has this issue also, always has, very annoying indeed but turning the lights off does stop it occurring.

I have never worked on any aircraft personally, but out of interest, is it not common practice to test the control surfaces after even basic procedures? Or is that left up the the Pilot? Either way, this was clearly a tragic accident with multiple people missing the mistake.

A bit OT, but on this point, is that planned to change any time soon?

Ultimately,this is the price the dev has set. It's very simple, if you don't think it is worth it to you, don't buy it. Personally I have little interest in this aircraft, I doubt I would ever choose to fly it over the Hawk. But I'm sure plenty of people will get lots of pleasure from the hard work that went into developing this. If you think it is too much for you, just wait for one of the regular sales...

Just had a play with the SU-27, upon pressing the S key in level flight it immediately nose dives and loses control, I appreciate it probably isn't a wise thing to do but I'm just playing around. Is this behavior normal or am I missing something? I managed to do a couple of maneuvers that somewhat resembled a cobra, but I think this will take lots of practice (and actually reading the manual!) The aircraft completely departed and refused to recover several times after attempting it.

So I decided to finally fly the F-15c campaign, I've been meaning to for ages. Sure enough I'm also getting this problem. It also happened when I first got FC3 and quickly tried the first mission also now I think about it. I did everything by the book, flew to all of the waypoints, landed, parked up pretty much where I started and turned everything off but no mission successful notification. Weirdly, my wingman then landed and proceeded to park elswhere in a hanger that opened up for him. I resterted my engines and followed him and promptly got bogged down on the taxi ways that aren't actually there. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Is there a specific place you need to park? What actually triggers mission successful? It wouldn't bother me too much but it seems you can't advance without completing? If I try to load the F-15c campaign up again it just takes me to the same mission... Cheers.

Struggled with Fraps and Dxtory for years, despite having multiple hard drives and a decent spec. Then I discovered nvidia shadowplay and haven't looked back since. Give it a try if you have a suitable card.

Any idea on how much HD space we're going to need for these maps? I have DCS on an SSD which is already almost full, I guess I'd best invest in another...

Seems I'm late to this thread, out of interest, which advanced aircraft has been heavily hinted at? I recently bought the Mig 21 and I'm very impressed so count me in for future releases! :thumbup:
