I prefer the Huey to the KA-50 personally, it is more of a pilots machine which translates into more fun imo. The Sabre is a nice simple jet, the new sounds are nice. I love the FC3 F-15c personally, you could try giving it a chance, you may find you like it more than you realised.

You stopped wanting that? I'd love to be able to click all of those buttons. The FC3 F-15c is already superb, but a full on DCS update would be very much welcomed by me.

Yeah! I changed my light settings last night, I put them to the lowest setting possible without turning them off... Still have the shakes!

I like the F-15c flight model now, I have gotten used to treating her gently at slower speeds. That said, if it isn't quite right then I wouldn't complain if they changed certain aspects. I can't imagine going back to the SFM now that is for sure. I actually fly the F-15c more than any of the full on modules these days. It will keep me very happy until the F-18 arrives... and maybe the full on F-15c?... I think my curves are set to about 30, I'll have to check, might even have a play around to see how the feel changes at different levels when I get time.

Pretty sure mine are full on and I get very bad jitters, I'll check later.

Good to hear! I haven't played since the patch, I've long said sound is just as important as visuals, good sound makes a world of difference. I'll try this later.

Yes they are, this is a known issue then? I guess that's good in the sense mine isn't faulty. I will try turning them off, seems a shame to have to choose between the two though. Which switch are you using out of interest?

Okay, something has been driving me mad for ages now, I usually stick to the F-15c but I've been trying to branch out and use the Russian jets more, only because I feel like I'm missing out. Whatever I do however, I can't get the zoom function (cockpit view) to work in the Russian aircraft, I set it as I always do in the options, but no movement. I can't change the FOV within any of the Russian jets, no problem at all with the Western jets. Any ideas what I may be doing wrong?

Yeah, I do the same, I use the THR-FC slider on the Thrustmaster Warthog throttle but it unfortunately doesn't react well when it isn't dead center. If you slide it to zoom in or out it creates small visual stutters, very annoying. I'm going to change to a different button soon when I figure out which one will be most suitable.

Dxtory is a good one to look into, I have had more luck with it than fraps although most software like this impacts performance.

Pretty sure you can use Steam keys on a direct ED install, just not vice versa.

Success, I removed the Su-25 training missions, and the FC3 ones and the install worked.

Yeah, my dora has gone also. Weirdly, if I run the update, I get the error and it seems to skip updating but the Mig 21 logo is present and the F-15c logo is gone finally. But if I skip the update by pressing later, the Mig 21 logo isn't present but the old F-15c buy now logo that shouldn't be there is. It seems some of the update is being applied temporarily.

Okay, turned off my avast, ran the repair, it downloaded 890mb or so of data and then showed me the same error message.

Same version and problems for me. ^^^^^ trying now.

Just checked, my sabre has gone also, the symbol is there, but it is grey and asking me to buy it again.

Just tried to open DCS world to have a look, it tried to update it again so obviously the update didn't apply first time around as I thought it had. Got the same warning again and when i clicked okay it went straight to the home screen....

I got this also, glad I'm not alone as it did worry me a bit, haven't had a look at DCS since updating however so not sure if there were any negative effects.
