  1. It will be a monster in the right hands....
  2. This should be good :D
  3. Whats the A10 crash? Link? How to reproduce? Edit. I see... http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=127518
  4. Yeah, Pretty much what AI does now, humans will do better. Climb and come from above.
  5. Here's a screenshot of default FOV.
  6. Here's my perspective after playing with DK2 for a day or so. Good Tracking is great. No complaints at all. Depth perception is excellent. It makes me want to reach for levers to manipulate instead of pecking by feel my HOTAS/Keyboard. Bad Resolution / pixel density is still not enough. I can see pixels and they are very noticeable causing distraction. Focus. If your eye is not looking at 0 degree angle (directly in front) on the monitor panel, it looks fuzzy and out of focus. The only way to go around is by moving physical head to center on subject. So this limits a quick glance using only eyes on airspeed or such while you're looking somewhere else. Side motion makes me woozy with "about to throw up" sensation. The biggest issue is pixel density. CV must have this issue fixed or it's a no go IMHO. As regarding DCS World and DK2, It needs "direct connect" support. - Ability to zoom in. - figure out issue with clickable pits. Currently I don't know exactly where I'm clicking. Also somehow ability to see other aircraft without icons. (make them fat dots like in Il2?)
  7. Can you link that post?
  8. If 15BIs is too hard, select 4 x Su-25s. They should give you some amusement. :D
  9. To answer my own question, I killed those two processes. Yanked my main monitor cable and configured VR for 1080 / 75hz / portrait. Problem comes in that FOV for each eye is rather limited so I can't see anything outside of it. I had to peck my way to DCS icon and then to fast action... To describe visuals. I have 55 inch monitor and if I move my face 5-7 inches from it, I will see pixels. Same with VR. But there is very strong depth perception. Everything stands out. Tracking is wonderful; it doesn't care about external light or such. But unlike with TrackIR, now its hard to look around because your neck just doesn't twist 180 degrees. Checking 6 requires movement of entire body. More to follow....
  10. What did you set for screen resolution / Multiple displays? orientation?
  11. I personally can't wait until 47 gets here....
  12. So sometime between July 2015 and July 2025. Nice safety margin. lol
  13. Could we include approach and landing section. Gear speed, flap speed... I hope we are not one way missions here :D
  14. "...and its gone, all gone" - South Park :D
  15. Depth of field is a simple ON/OFF option. When enabled, it makes your subject matter (object in F-2) look normal while everything else close / far blurry. It's great for taking screenshots.... Screenshot with Mi-8 shows that perfectly.
  16. Descent with less than 5 m/s.... :D
  17. Somehow people do not realize that with invention of "new" armor, now that armor can apply to other vehicles, not just mechs. So if M1A is 70 Tonns...suddenly it's lighter with same protection and much reduced loading on the ground. Oh my...
  18. Has ground loading been discussed? Kind of kills main idea behind mech...mobility.
  19. Reference F-86 T.O....it's a simple aircraft
  20. This is very nice... http://vimeo.com/89526883

  22. Wow. Unexpected that's for sure.
