v1.5.2 When I fire Kh-66 Grom towards a ship the missile trajectory is going way up & hits a long distance behind the target. Before Kh-66 behaved more like a rocket with a more or less straight trajectory. Is this a bug? & if not how do you aim it?

Hi V 1.5.2. I was trying to take screen shots. It involved many changes in Mission Editor's weather, time & different scenarios, going in & out of ME etc. In other words I gave the Mission Editor a hell....but nothing unusal that 1.2 couldn't handle. The GUI loading time was very slow & I had so many crashes that I lost count. My log file is bellow, hope it helps :)

You don't flare Viggen when doing a short-field landing, you do a carrier-style landing. The gears were build to handle it. An requirement from the Swedish AF was that the plane could stop within 500m. Yes, so are the many SAAB cars were ignition-key is on the center console, instead of the dash. SAAB always had to do something different/innovative;)

Hi, V 1.5.1 I've had constant MP crashes today & yesterday. I can select an airplane but then when the mission loads the game always crashes? Tried multiple servers with the same result.

There was an earlier discussion involving an former SAAB employee, about if some A2G missiles were controlled from the right or left side. In this video (watch from 13:00) you can see that the pilot is controlling the missile, an Robot 05, from the right side. On the right side we have "Spakenhet RB 05" = stickunit Robot 05 (see pic) And on the left side we have the big joystick "Handkontroll radar" (see pic) Looks like we'll have our hands full with allot of fun stuff:smilewink: can't wait ;) ! Anybody have some more insights to those systems?

I wouldn't call this "random" * First dedicated supersonic strike aircraft. First supersonic maverick user. First aircraft with ground mapping radar. First aircraft with anti-ship missile capability. First aircraft with stand-off weaponry, if BK-90 is included. First aircraft with STOL capability. "Fast & Low" design philosophy, built to perform well on low altitude. LN has stated before that a theater will be included, map, AI etc.:smilewink:

Good observation! that is rather strange, to reed your altitude, heading & speed, on the hud upside down when inverted.

Yeeeees :lol: I'm so excited for the Saab 37 Viggen! The STOL capabilities are going to be very interesting to explore, so will the other systems. Imagine landing on a forest road with "carrier style" no-flare-approach & stopping within 500m! Taking-off fully loaded within 500m! Flying ground attack missions near tree-tops at >1450 km/h! OK I'm no expert on the 37....but I sure intend to become one with the help of LN;) As for the AJS-37, I'm glad they made that choice & it's not impossible LN will expand with an AJ-37(?).... Also the Corsair is a very welcomed addition, those carrier ops will be fun:smilewink:

Bump 1.5.1....still problems with Flight Director, localizer is very "wobbly" & glide slope is lagging behind & chasing. Compared to the L-39's FD witch is very smooth, the Mig-21's is unstable. -

Don't know if you folks have seen it, but the Mig-15 is one tough bird! [ame] [/ame] The 2 pilots survived & the Mig got restored & flew again:)

I was going by this from the manual: MANOEUVERING RULES •With no fuel drop tanks, missiles only: +7 G •With no fuel drop tanks, gun/rocket pods only: +1 G •With no fuel drop tanks, bombs only: +5 G •With fuel drop tanks: +5 G (490 L tank) or + 4 G (800 L tank) Operational limitations: At M≤0.8: with two missiles 8g at Gfuel≤1300L otherwise 7g at Gfuel>1300L At M>0.8: 7g at Gfuel≤800L with two missiles otherwise 6g with two or four missiles. For what reason are the limitations there for?

Latest v 1.5.1. Wing ordnance are not falling off when exceeding max G's. Had 4 missiles + center fuel tank, did 10G's several times, they stayed on.
