Hi guys, For 3 days I've searched the Internet for a solution, with no luck & I'm close on giving up on the A-10c with Hotas. I have an x52, 6y old (not pro) using this profile http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/670691/ . I can test & load the profile just fine in the SST control panel. When flying the Hog, initially the profile works, but after a few minutes the profile stops responding & the MFD freezes. After I shut down DCS strange things happens to my computer, mouse unresponsive, can't shut down the computer, have to use the power button for shutdown? I've done this http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=84295 , reinstalled drivers, less than 16 characters .pr0 name, tried different profiles etc.... But the damn thing keeps on hanging & making the computer & me crazy:cry: My X52 works fine in DCS (without profiles) & FSX, this is the 1:st time I'm trying to use SST profile program. Is my joystick to old? giving unwanted spikes? any other ideas? Any help is much appreciated, thanx!

Are they not doing the L-39C ? Coz allot of them have it in the upper left corner, in this config it makes life easier for us!

I really hope ED will change that, as it's important to have the G-meter easily visible, especially in an military training aircraft.

DCS World 2 is delayed according to the recent newsletter. Nobody knows when it will arrive! It's been 5 months since the last update on the 21. How long are we supposed to wait for the updates & bugs to get fixed on the 21? Has all the updates stopped until DCS World 2? Can we have a clarification on this subject?

You have made it a bad habit of promising monthly updates, giving specific dates & deadlines that you can't stand by! It's very disappointing....not that you don't reveal the next product or show us something spectacular, but the fact that you just can't deliver something so simple as a promise & it's very disrespectful to those who actually look forward to them! At least now you've realized that this is not holding anymore & made a more sensible decision..... I personally feel the excitement has cooled of entirely for me at this stage:( +1000 , so sad but so true.

We are still missing the March monthly update, what happened to that??? The F-14 update was NOT a monthly update! Cobra wrote the above after the F-14 update! "Monthly Update - Februamarch 2015" was in fact very late Feb update. It was 2 months between January & Februamarch updates.

Hi, Yes making an EFM/PFM is obviously not easy & I'm sure the majority of simmers realizes that. Allot is known about "edge of the envelope behavior" & I doubt we ask much for realistic FM "out of the envelope behavior". You are assuming that "we operate the aircraft in totally unrealistic ways, like spending lots of time at super-critical AOA at low altitudes" I don't think that's how we spend lots of our time. I think most time is spent in intercepts, AG, WVR guns dogfights & aerobatics. What exactly do you mean by "totally unrealistic ways & insane conditions" & how can you put the 21 in those conditions? & what is "super-critical AOA"? Pilots DO know how their plane handles over critical AOA (not at low altitudes, for obvious reasons). Exceeding critical AOA & knowing the airplanes limitations is a part of a pilots training...it's theirs job to know. "insane conditions" I don't agree that people are asking about RL FM for those conditions. But normal conditions, like stalls, spins, flatspins, etc...yes! Also the test pilots have taken the bird trough an exhaustive test program, so there is surely enough of data. I don't see "A LOT" of criticisms of the MiG-21's stall behavior. Well you can stall the 21, it's not un-stallable. AFAIK there was concerns about incorrect after stall behavior & with the new FM (2 patches ago) the stall caracteristics was greatly changed & some people want to know why such a big difference from the previous FM. Perfect behavior from a computer probably can't happen....agreed but you can get pretty darn close! & even the simulators are evolving. You don't have to worry, most of us are quite civil around here;) Without criticisms & questioning there would be no progress. LN Mig-21 has rightfully received countless of positive reviews & "thank you" posts, for their hard work! Your car comparison is funny :) & if you would ask me the same question about my airplane I would be clueless too...but frankly I can't see how it relates to the 21 or PFM discussion at all? All in all, I think even the hardcore simmers are not demanding a PFM in ""totally unrealistic ways & insane conditions" But expecting a realistic FM within aircraft capability's is reasonable & doable, if you want to call it a PFM. Thus I feel your rant is a little bit on the exaggerated side:smilewink:
