  1. Nice work LN & thanx:thumbup: & please consider the more user friendly key mapping;)
  2. Short field landing :)
  3. Is this still in the works? if so I'm interested.
  4. Hi I cant start the engines or move the throttle, when cold&dark? I've tried to delete Su-27 Input Config content, use throttle step down/up keys, played around with the axis assignment...but the issue isn't solved. Only the Su-27 is effected by this, as I have tried other modules & they all work fine. Any ideas? /Thanx! Edit: Solved! the engines have to be started by separate key presses, seems like it only applies to SU-27, other modules in FC3 can be started simultaneously by 1 key.
  5. Is this what you mean @3:30? yes it looks cool;) I haven't had any success doing it with ours Mig-21...yet.
  6. @7:22 you can see a drag chute deployment a few meters above the runway, pretty cool IMHO:) (Tu-154, twin-otter...can do it too) Anybody have some info on this procedure for the 21? was it used in emergency only? or was it a standard procedure for short runways? Going to try this in the sim when I have time, hope it works out ok;) Thanx!
  7. The conceptualized mindset of the community is that it is the F-14, therefore according to Occam's razor, it must be ;) Thanx for the grate interview!
  8. Well done research & explanation Curly:thumbup: Now that the devs have all the data they wanted, it's show-time! 7 days after your post & still no answer from the devs is troublesome though!
  9. Didn't know that, explains it for the 21, thanx:) I've created many own made ILS & NDB approaches for the UH-1, F-86 & Mi-8. That's why I wonder about the 21's minimums
  10. Does anybody now what the minimums for an PRMG(ILS) approach are for the Mig-21bis? Also I heard that the minimums differed in war & peace time, is that true? The manual mentions that an ARK(NDB) approach should never be attempted, was that true for the Mig-21 IRL? I was under the impression that ARK approaches were used extensevly in the USSR. Thanx!
  11. +1
  12. This is my experience also & I really would want someone to answer this: Is the piper working correctly & why does it differ so much from F-86 & P-51? Edit/ Ok I have done some tests & the piper is only effective <300m which is really close, see pictures below taken from 800m, 500m, 300m...in other words you have to be really close;).
  13. Need that for multiplayer:thumbup:
  14. Thanx for the explanation guys:thumbup: Hopefully a thorough explanation of the BLC system will be included in the manual.
  15. Wow! that's very surprising & interesting to hear. Wonder how long the lifespan of the wooden part was & how resilient it was? Must have been cheap to replace :)
  16. My thoughts, next it got to be the F-14, then I think Mig-23 after that something western again....I hope LN will keep the eastern then western pattern going.
  17. I can certainly feel the lift loss if I throttle back to much during the landing flare. But it doesn't show in outside view, the flaps remain in exactly the same position, even with 0 power, is it not visually implemented yet or is it a bug?
  18. I especially like the new in cockpit engine sound, it adds a grate deal to the immersion, awesome update guys! thanx
  19. CoBlue

    sound files?

New in cockpit engine sound, grate job guys! I like it very much
  20. One of my favorite aircraft! I would love the SU-22 in DCS:thumbup: Do you know of any Polish SU-22/17 skin for DCS?
  21. Somebody forgott to pay the god damn bill for LN's website....it's all his fault
  22. Thanx for the update! Sounds awesome LN, looking forward to the Mig-21 improvements  & also to the next aircraft announcement ;) Congratts on the success of Mig-21 & expansion of the company!
  23.   It's not unreasonable, nor does it dumb down any realism whatsoever, to add an toggle option for any cover, button or leaver. I just want to have this option as I'm flying with trackIR & sometimes trying to point at a button with the mouse & trying to keep the mouse steady & at the same time flip or push is really hard & time consuming......& that's unrealistic IMHO, since we are not sitting in the real cockpit but in front of ours PC's;)
  24. Happy New 2015 Leatherneck, your Mig-21 is the best
  25. Thanx a lot for the link:thumbup: To be honest I'm having difficulties understanding how to use it. I'll just have to study this more. Wish LNS could include this in the manual or somebody would make a tutorial about it:)
