  1. Any info is great as this is one of the most needed improvements!
  2. It’s based on the SM Avionics manual which is later 2000s. Our F-16 is based on the October 2007 TO 1F-16CM
  3. I can provide proof to the devs
  4. APG-68(v)1 and (V)7 have Uplook Search APG-68(v)5 has LRS IDK the difference I think LRS is an interleave mode.
  5. F-2

    MF2000 Variant

https://www.recherche.bar.admin.ch/recherche/recherche/link/en/archive/unit/4684756 Swiss National archives documents on the Mirage 2000-5. Has lots of info on RDY.
  6. I recently got to look at some Westinghouse documents at a museum. On the apg-68, a block 40 (v)1 manual from 1989 and a (v)5 manual from 1995. You’re completely correct they almost look like different Radars. the (v)1 in air to air is more similar to APG-66 RANGE WHILE SEARCH UPLOOK SEARCH AIR COMBAT MANEUVERING VELOCITY SEARCH TRACK WHILE SCAN SINGLE TARGET TRACK SITUATION AWARENESS MODE Maybe VS uses HPRF but I was surprised that the modes are so different from the (V)5 which seems to reflect the DCS radar. interestingly AMRAAM was already In the manual.
  7. Yes they have, that’s just cope the Indian internet came up with in May. https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=3827972783947415&id=273506732727389

  11. Some good documentation on the RDY and RDM radars recently emerged from the Swiss national archives.
  12. We do have a Mirage 2000C manual this Agard paper has some good info on the cockpit https://apps.dtic.mil/sti/tr/pdf/ADA310523.pdf
  13. A few thoughts the mirage 2000, most of the documentation used is publicly available. Some misc documents related to the 2000-5 exist F-15, there are some F-15SA (Saudi EX) manuals around, a few hundred pages. Not sure what they would do for radar but most of the plane itself is well documented. Sea harrier. In addition to the manuals being publicly available (albeit not online) some papers from the UK national archives on Blue Vixen are available and quite detailed.
  14. That manual is on amazon N019 is a neat radar we are lucky to know so much about. SAPFIR documention is pretty hard to come by.
  15. https://web.archive.org/web/20030621173542/http://supermaneuver.narod.ru/ old Indian Air Force Su-30mki desktop simulator uses the Flanker engine
  16. We have a publicly available J-8H radar document. Since that can use both pl-11 and pl-12 Ill take it.
  17. Anyone get to use the radar? How was it?
  18. The US purchase Moldovan Fulcrums and used them but after constant peg. Whatever it was called is not public. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yf8d41Kz2ng
  19. I wonder what version they have in mind?
  20. Couldn’t the J-8b carry pl-4?
  21. I say you could make an argument that the Eurofighter, F-22, F-2, and J-10a since all four of them were built explicitly with new generation Soviet aircraft in mind. They all have different first flights and in service dates.
  22. For documentation it’s probably much more accessible then commonly believed but it will likely require someone to go to Japan and ask around at Mitsubishi’s museum or find out who has US exploitation documentation.
  23. I think MSIP I jets got AMRAAM support at some point. I know Saudi Eagles had AMRAAM including some given directly from USAFE stock to the Saudi airforce and then never received another upgrade. https://web.archive.org/web/20140526083455/http://www.touchdown-aviation.com/reports/2014/green-shield-157516041575158215901585-1588161016041583-2014.php https://www.runway-fever.nl/galleries/2014-2/green-shield-2014/ https://defence.pk/threads/saudi-and-french-fighters-get-familiar-f-15c-vs-rafale.330385/#post-6092696 F-15C MSIP would probably need AMRAAM to go 3-3 against AESA equipt Rafale. also in the late 90s Japan had a small number of aim-120b for their F-15J which are essentially MSIP I. J-MSIP II wasn’t till the early 2000s.
  24. F-16ADF posted it on F-16.net. I’m not sure were he got it but the format looks like world power journal like the last post said.
