  1. Just ordered this. I’ll make it available if a block 30 or 40 becomes a thing.
  2. https://www.f-16.net/aircraft-database/F-16/airframe-profile/2045#google_vignette https://secure.afa.org/joinafa/AFMag0116/files/basic-html/page27.html the very first “Big Mouth” F-16 interestingly was the only MSIP II F-16 to get a kill in USAF service.
  3. First page distribution unlimited https://www.researchgate.net/publication/312498396_Evolution_of_the_USAF_Aircraft_Structural_Integrity_Program_an_OEM_perspective block 40 and 50 are just about the same weight Block 40 on have a heavier airframe because the block 30 failed structural testing https://books.google.com/books?id=ZA5QMKQThU8C&pg=PA595&dq=f-16+block+25&hl=en&newbks=1&newbks_redir=0&source=gb_mobile_search&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiL5vrO9634AhWbEGIAHW38C6o4FBDoAXoECAIQAw#v=onepage&q=f-16 block 25&f=false
  4. Arguably the best performing Viper over all. Does a degree per second more at sea level then the block 50 and nearly two better instantaneous. Still has very good acceleration, a second less then the block 50 subsonic, a bit more above. biggest downside is it basically is a block 50 with less capability. You can do every a block 30 could in a block 50 today, same workflow. Compared to say the block 40 which has its own unique capabilities. super cool, might be the best sustained turning jet we could get.

  6. Iraq’s migs were not equipped with R-73 but they were capable of using them. The Iraqi Fulcrum was a 9.12B and it was specially de modified the Soviets simply didn’t include it.

  11. Always loved the look of the P-80. Actually kinda surprised we never got a T-33 in DCS.
  12. I wouldn’t say zero, we have Iraq MiG-25P and PD manuals (how we know Iraqi Foxbats did have Sapfir-25) as well as a few P system manuals.

    F-16V

I asked DTIC what they had on the non public side on the F-16. A surprising amount on the F-16V. If someone wants to go through the beuracratic process of getting then FOIA 2025-61 UL F-16.xlsx
  15. I’ve seen reports the upgraded su-33 has the al-31fm-1 which if true would be nice
  16. F-16adf on F-16.net posted it. I didnt get the name but he often finds stuff like this. He would probably tell you. https://www.f-16.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=59744

  19. From what I gather TWS did become more useful by the 90s.
  20. The forward fusalage on the block I is a legacy hornet forward fusalage. From block II it’s different to accommodate APG-79.
  21. Some of the collection DTIC has on the F-2 my request on the F-2 manual and weapons employment manual, moved to March 13th in spring the national electronics museum reopens. They have a document on the Radar T/R modules. I plan on scanning this. my goal is to get a early F-2 FOIA-2025-21-UL.xlsx
  22. Zhuk is much better suited for guiding R-27ER with better notch resistance, look down, and range.
  23. Isn’t that a B(U)?
  24. Might have the modes as it was used in the F-15K as well. over ten years and longer for export jets
