Ha well this has taken way longer than I want. The final decision for my XF-2 manual and weapons employment check list is December 20th some other stuff they have I’ll try to get in the coming year FOIA-2025-21-UL.xlsx the National Electronic Museum has the Radar T/R module test report. When they reopen in spring I’ll stop by and get it. The Radar Engineering model flight test data I’m still looking for. I’ll probably give the National archives a visit in the next few months.

That cockpit looks like it’s having a panic attack

Can’t remember if every AIM-120A platform uses AIM-120B
-
Would be great, should be fairly simple minor changes to the AIM-120B we have.

I don’t see that happening. If nothing else doing a T1 aircraft would always be possible.

https://www.nationalelectronicsmuseum.org/resources/library-archives/ hey so apparently the national electronics museum has dozens of documents available for researchers on apg-68 apg-66 and apg-63 and others if anyone is interested.

For the moment I think the Legacy Hornet covers does most of what an early super hornet does, if we get a dynamic campaign I think a Super Hornet will have some advantages because of fuel and payload. Obviously not absolutely mandatory but I do hope it happens.

Before it was announced that’s what I thought and expected. But hey I’ll take whatever they think they can do.

Want F-117A Nighthawk - high fidelity module
F-2 replied to Cigar Bear's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Tough to know the answer to that. Generally it’s 25 years for declassification but it might be exempt or the official retirement date in 2008. You could file a request to the Air Force and ask -
I think it’s the unusual nature of the project. Absorbing a Dev while busy with other stuff.

I’m happy getting ASRAAM and AIM-9L/Li

They have the 9.18 SMT radar manual, they seemed interested but more is needed on the cockpit.

Great news!! J-8F is now retired. Hopefully, we can get J-8F instead.
F-2 replied to PLAAF's topic in DCS: J-8II
The radar is declassified too including how to fire pl-12. Not sure about the cockpit -

Expectation on Air to Air missiles of the MiG-29A?
F-2 replied to pepin1234's topic in DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum
I suspect the actual turn performance is correct but it’s not bleeding as much as it should. Ive also heard the Mirage is generally out matched by the Fulcrum by someone who flew against one. -
As I understand the 9.17 jump was so large it cause center of gravity issues. I like the look of it though.

I don’t think we have any aircraft in game that carry it but I do think it would be achievable to make AI assets that could carry it Su-27SM3 AI should not be different from a Su-27 AI in flight performance Mig-29sm same as above Su-30SM apparently the original desktop simulation was built on the Flanker engine and the demo is available for reference. I have lots on N011m bars for a .lua radar it would be nice to have even if we couldn’t use it. Sort of like how he have a playable mirage 2000c and an AI Mirage 2000-5.

As I understand it these have been obtained by Gunjob in the warthunder community from various museums after a MoD review AP 101B-4801-15A - Aircrew Manual - Sea Harrier FRS.1 - April 1984 AP 101B-4802-15A Sea Harrier FA.2 Aircraft And Systems - March 1997 (missing sections) AP 101B-4802-15B Sea Harrier FA.2 Operations - March 1997 (missing sections) DAP 101B-4802-15A Sea Harrier FA.2 Aircraft And Systems - July 2002 DAP 101B-4802-15B Sea Harrier FA.2 Operations - July 2002 they are getting the Nav/Attack manual from the FAA museum FARNBOROUGH AIR SCIENCES MUSEUM Has “A good selection of Pilots Notes, Flight Reference Cards, Flight Manuals and Sea Harrier FA2 AP101B manuals” it doesn’t seem like collecting Sea Harrier documentation for a module would be all that different then collecting documentation for any module developed to date.

Yes, these are just pictures of the covers that were posted online. I do not have nor would I post the real thing. I just wanted to point out the UK does have a legal way to get documentation released contrary to popular perception but I understand reiterating
-
Not completely true, I don’t have them and I would not post them if I did but these have been released in the last few years. I think their is away to get them released legally.
-
Apparently quite a few of the manuals have started being released. The war thunder community has the aircrew and aircraft and system manuals. this group also has some https://airsciences.org.uk/archive-library-collection/

I like the fat back, I don’t care what anyone says.
