    Which AIM-120?

I was gunna ask this. Technically I think it can carry the C5 but I think newer missiles would be more appropriate.
  2. I can’t speak for the helmet or Datalink but I don’t think apg-63(v)1 should be noticeable different to the pilot.
  3. Japan who ironically wanted to remove the capability does use it
  4. I have run into three people who managed to legally obtain Su-30mk documentation in their respective countries. If I could suggest a target for your research team it would be that.
  5. I feel the wording in the FAQ as well as a general lack of knowledge about what sort of documentation is used to make a DCS module is the cause of this.

  7. Flight isn’t a huge issue paper: F-35 Aerodynamic Performance Verification (AIAA 2018-3679)
  8. Oh yea you’re screwed lol. This is what you do in your least screwed senario.
  9. No you can’t, but if your in a close in situation it’s your best bet because radar will be unreliable
  10. From what I understand at least with the Raptor mechanical scan radars struggled even in BFM ranges. Not so sure about the F-35 but I would expect it to be different. one thing though supposedly the afterburner is an IR Chrismas tree. Newer pilots will make that mistake.

  12. After all this the R-27ET becomes the MVP.
  13. That is actually surprisingly not true. The 33rd had 52 AIm-120A for scud hunting https://books.google.com/books?id=cNTioltU3N4C&pg=PA430&dq=amraam+carry+gulf+war&hl=en&newbks=1&newbks_redir=0&source=gb_mobile_search&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiaxZrIgdGDAxU5GTQIHedZADQQ6AF6BAgGEAM#v=onepage&q=amraam carry gulf war&f=false https://www.defensemedianetwork.com/stories/f-15-eagles-were-the-deadliest-birds-of-desert-storm/
  14. Su-27S? Are you guys looking to add an AESA super hornet? If you even have an idea
  15. They apparently are all wired to do it. JASDF tried to have the capability removed but it would have cost too much to eliminate.
  16. Thank you! Future lineup is looking nice
  17. The good thing though is for DCS purposes AIM-120A and B are indistinguishable. AIM-7P was never used operationally on the F-15C but it was cleared to carry it. I wonder if the manual ED is using reflects that?
  18. Do you have this? I’m trying to figure out what’s the future of DCS right now.
  19. Yea, when I say why doesn’t add an SU-30 I mean add the one that’s literally in game right now but with SDK support.
  20. The Su-30 mod uses similar documentation to this proposed F-35 we have some SMT docs I have some Rafale stuff the J-10B/C uses a very similar cockpit hud and MFD to the JF-17 why not just have a separate tier between FF and FC that can be toggled? That was my theory
  21. It’s mostly 80s hardware with 2000s software. MSIP II was always the most logical choice. The biggest difference between this and earlier MSIP II is data link. 24. You think it might be that the PLAAF just throws away old manuals and technical documents?
  25. M2 isn’t 9.15 though? It’s much heavier and twin seat.
