This only happen on certain missions. Gonna save a track next time it happens. Often, but not everytime your laser range goes nuts aswell. So if you suddenly go from tracking a target at 6km and you suddenly see it at 2.6km you will see the crazy ivan shkval soon after. The if you relock your target, it will display the correct range for 5-20 seconds. Then go nuts again. And when you are cursing the most, you suddenly have that crazy shkval again. Ragnar, if you have Agatons mission, part two and feel like saving a track. That's the mission i was talking about. I have the slew assigned to TMS on my Warthog HOTAS.

I was just about to land after a test mission and i decided to Fraps it to demonstrate how i do the straight in approaches. Nothing fancy, nothing complicated. But it's a 100% success every time with this procedure.

From an engineering perspective, implementing support for dual TGP's would be a PITA. Lots of things that need to be worked out in order to have a safe, and reliable system.

Ok, then i misunderstood your post. While we're talking rotors i have another question you might be able to answer Yo-Yo. I closed both cut-off valves and applied the rotor brake instantly, rotor rpm was around 80%. At first the rotors started to slow down, but after a few seconds the brake stopped working. And after 2min my rotors were still rotating slowly, and it didn't matter if i engaged or disengaged the rotor brake. Is it modelled that you can destroy the brake? (I know it isn't good to engage the brake over 20%)

It is possible to fire illumination rockets for yourself, but you only have time to fire 1 Vikhr before it's dark again. It's still possible to fire a second Vikhr, but you will have to track your target manually. Edit: Would be nice if the illumination effect is fixed from ground view though. It's broken atm, possible WIP.

Feels like you drop way faster now. Could be a consequence of the pitch angles too. Gonna test autorotations this weekend and see how it performs.

And the dmg model isn't like an average FPS. Each weapon do a specific dmg, if it doesn't exceed the 'health' of the object, it won't be destroyed. Someone else can probably fill in the long explanation.

Max fan speed is around 85%, so nothing wrong. Core RPM should reach 100%ish

Yea, when you have more then 6 players, you have to use LAN. I've hosted 14 players with LAN, so i think it's pretty stable. No warping at all.

Masterarms.se lock our servers for 3 reasons. Our goal is to have a Swedish combat flight community. We want the members to be on TS. We want our members to follow our SOP's. Master arms have existed for almost a year now, and we have a thriving DCS and BMS section with some top notch players. So we will probably continue on this path. But we fly with people from all over the world on a regular basis, both in DCS and BMS. And when we're not flying squad only, we often host open servers. And next week I plan to host an open Ka-50 training session that anyone can join if they want help.

P The A-10 never carry ext. tanks in combat. Only for ferry missions. You can loiter for hours at angels 30 anyways.
