[ME-MOD] Coalition Modification
Furia replied to Grimes's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
I have finally make managed to make it work. I guess the problem was on my side, either by unproper installation or corrupted dowloaded file. In any case now works as intended! Thanks -
LHD JUAN CARLOS I (L61) MOD
Furia replied to desdemicabina-simulation's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
This is an awesome mod and one of the highest quality freeware ship in DCS World.:thumbup: You can feel the ammount of love and attention to detail it has been given. I do really love it and we are currently using it in our naval multiplayer campains and missions. If you fly harriers or helicopters in naval missions you have to give it a try :pilotfly: Just awesome Thanks a lot!!! -
Thanks for the update Chromium. I will wait eagerly. In my squadron we do plan to start our "persistent" campaing by September (By persistent I mean that without DAWS I have to manually edit each scenario to give some kind of persistence feeling) so when thus capability becomes available it will be most welcomed. Our campaing is planed to last 5 to 6 months so hopefully this will be readyat some point. Thanks for the update.

[ME-MOD] Coalition Modification
Furia replied to Grimes's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
I cannot manage to make this work. I have the buttons and I manage to get a message when I move a country from one side to neutral, however when I try to add a new country to a coallition, there is no message and the interface does not close and although by saving the mision and exiting the ME and launching the scenario again shows the updated list of countries, I cannot add any vehicle for the new moved country. Any help would be most appreciated. -
Thanks. I did it this way!

Is it possible to remove the F10 map view for spectators in MP servers?
Furia replied to MobiSev's topic in Multiplayer
I am interested in this posibility of removing spectators F10 map. Not players but spectators. Have anyone figured out how to do so? Thanks -
Would be even nicer if you name the title of your post as a question instead using the same title that someone posting a new mod would use. Slighlty misleading.

MOOSE - Mission Object Oriented Scripting Framework
Furia replied to FlightControl's topic in Scripting Tips, Tricks & Issues
Hi guys I would really appreciate if someone can help me with this. I have been the last couple of days reading all available doucments about A2A Dispatcher, I have seen the really nice tutorials available, I understand the funcionalities and parameters to be used however I fail to understand where to find the base luas where to write such parameters. I have downloaded several demo misions and each uses a different set of luas with different names. I need to make a cold war scenario in the persian gulf and I also need to know the names the script uses for each airbase on this map. Is there any "master" Dispatcher A2A Dispatcher lua that I can download and write ther the particular parameters of my mision? The demo mission available in GitHub are for Caucasus, Nevada and Normandy. I do not have available time to learn to use the LDT, I am pretty short on thime and I was counting to use the old GCI/CAP script that required only some customization. While the capabilities of MOOSE are awesome, I do simply have not the time to learn scriptint full lua with the LDT the next month. If someone can provide a lua based on the AI A2A dispatcher in the Persian Gulf just for Red Side, Cold War, and if possible a super simple miz associated with it I could populate the lua with my own parameters. Thank you very much in advance!! -
I have tried to make it work myself in the Persian Gulf but does not work either. I am trying to figure out how to use MOOSE but apparently that would require more time that I actually have available for editing missions at this time. It is a pity since this script was almost plug and play with the appropiate customization but without much workload

For me it is working OK in the release version. I do not use the Open Beta so I cannot tell in that version, but in the release it works Ok or almost OK. It works OK with all Ground units including fortifications and also with all ship units. However Now I cannot select any aircraft or helicopter as Neutral (No neutral countries available for such vehicles) So as long as you need it for ships or gound vehicles or objects, it works good. No side attacks them and they do not change side while ingame.

It does work properly in the actual release version. You can have a neutral coallition working perfectly As someome mentioned before you only have to edit the MisionEditor.lua and remove the comments at the begining of the text initially it says this: --test_addNeutralCoalition = true it should say this: test_addNeutralCoalition = true I am attaching mine here. You have to place it in the Main directory \Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\MissionEditor. What I do not understand is why does not already come as default. Enjoy, MissionEditor.lua

Thanks a lot. I am building a squadrom campaing in the Persian Gulf scenario and this mod will be surely most useful.

I have updated the Bug Thread https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3942741#post3942741 Sadly your propossed solution does not work.I have tried it with no success. The failure is related to how the mission is edited If the Hornet is USA and the mission date is relatively modern, then it INS works nicely. See the Bug report for more detailled info

[REPORTED] 2.5.5 INS Not Aligning when on OPFOR
Furia replied to Ziptie's topic in Bugs and Problems
Here is the requested track. While the GPS have a valid Aircraft possition the INS does not take that information. Also for some reason the date of the scenario is a factor. on older dates INS does not work neither for USA or Russia Hornets but on moderns dates (I tested it in 2011) it works for USA server-20190609-141623.trk -

Operation "Blue Flag" - 24/7 PvP Campaign - ROUND 9
Furia replied to gregzagk's topic in Multiplayer
I have another question / request. Would it be possible to have a Blue Flag Persian Gulf scenario Miz with all the FARPS, carriers equipment and bases as they are in the official scenario but without scripts, triggers or flyable units? Just the terrain and the statics. I would like to be able to use Combatflite to planify my flights but either I create the template myself or it is existing and available the terrain plus the installations used in Blue Flag persian Guf available. Thanks in advance!! -

Operation "Blue Flag" - 24/7 PvP Campaign - ROUND 9
Furia replied to gregzagk's topic in Multiplayer
Hi. I have not flown Blue Flag for long time and I was planning to rejoin again. Sorry for the silly question but when I was about to register I have read the document called BuddySpike Operation:BLUEFLAG 2.5 and it does not list the F/A-18C as available. This is the only thing I am flying now in DCS and makes no sense to register at this moment if I cannot fly. Can you please confirm if the hornet is available or not? In any case thanks for the answer
