  1. Try the solution I posted above. It worked for me and it is quite simple
  2. Simply go to your Windows security, check the DCS file placed in quarentine and in "actions"select the option "Restore". Launch the updater again and it should work. It worked for me. This is an screen of the Windows Security Panel. Find the History of Threads and restore the DCS file. My windows is in Spanish but I think it is pretty self-explanatory
  3. The NAT VOR Station is located in a middle of a forest surrounded by trees which is surely not how a VOR station is constructed. I am attaching here a pic of the real one and the DCS version. Would it be possible to clear up the trees on this area?
  4. Thanks a lot for sharing. I have been searching this one for a while! There is an option for steam users on DCS, „specials“ ion the Hercules module. Make sure the „steam version box“ it is activated before launching a mision with the Hercules.
  5. Hi Bignewy. I am attaching here the track. I am using the Stable version and the test mision used for this track has no Mods. Before the test I have uninstalled and installed again the NS430. I have observed the same behaviour in other terrains like in Syria although I did this track in a clean Caucasus map. Thanks for taking a look at this. NS430_ETA_BUG.trk
  6. I can rearm and refuel with no problems in the Release version. Are you using the Open beta or release (Stable) version? Have you tried this in a normal airport associated to your "side" or only in FARP?
  7. Update topic with pictures to describe better the issue
  8. When flying a flight plan using the NAVDef Page and having added the "user defined field" of ETA, this one only provide a more or less accurate number related to the first waypoint of the route while for the next waypoints the figure is incorrect. ETE works nice as intended but ETA does not. I am using Local 24hrs time format in myz NS430 configuration. The clock works properly. It is just the ETA figure to the next waypoint that provides incorrect information. Can you guys please take a look at this?
  9. This MOD is simply awesome and it opens an huge amount of possibilities Thank you!! I would be real happy if they became 3rd Party Project. The potential for an Hercules in DCS is incredible. The air war is not only fighters and we already have a large amount of those. Additional assets such a properly designed Hercules, would change our DCS battlefield options the same way the inclusion of helicopters in DCS did.
  10. This is indeed badly needed, it is a realistic functionality of any GPS or modern navigation equipment and surely not difficult to implement. Having to manually configure all this setup configuration each and every flight is a real pain and I would really appreciate if we are given an option to save the setup configuration at leats of the NAVdef main page fields. Thanks
  11. I cannot make it work. I have tried with the updated files and also with the "old" ones. Any of you have this working on the actual stable version? Thanks
  12. That is a very beautiful livery
  13. I love the Hercules
  14. Latest stable only.
  15. The actual forum format is the ugliest I have seen for a long time. It really looks old and cold. I was surely expecting something more aesthetically pleasant to read. :(
  16. +1
  17. :) Bought it !
  18. Thanks for sharing
  19. From what I see on most RL videos, carrier lights are fairly attenuated and dimed and you do not see them like if you are landing in Los Angeles International. I have never approached a carrier in real life but I have done hundreds of approaches in helicopter to comercial vesels and in many cases we had to ask then to dim their lights because in the black night a too much lighted ship surrounded by an absolute black could generate optical illusions or vertigo. Also the factor that if you have to go-around (bolter) this would place you from a highly ligted area together with the go around acceleration into the very deep black. Not a good combination. You want the runway lighted so you can clearly see it at 1 mile and not too much bright. This is what I found on some RL videos DCS still needs a bit more "bright light" on deck but just a very little more in my oppinion. Also bear in mind that how we do see the light here may have much to do with our own Gamma settings
  20. That would be my most desired WWII scenario !!!
  21. We are using the SC in our squadron operations but while it brings a tone of nice things and improvements we are not happy with the actual ATC /MARSHALL/LSO. Previously we were using Alerax script and while quite demanding and sometimes simply stopped working, that script managed the aircraft flow nicely moving aircraft out of the stack in a good flow and managing stack altitiudes properly. Now there is no such marshall control and the actual script will keep all aircraft in the stack asl long as the previous aircarft has not fully landed. In a package that just returns from a combat sortie and that is not in excedance of fuel that is not acceptable. The ATC should manage the marshall stack better, same as the Wave off traffic. Even with good pilots, no WO or bolters, it takes ages to recover 10 planes coming from a sortie. We do not simply have the fuel to make orbits as it is designed now. I wonder if some of the naval oriented squadrons have found a solution for this. We are considering going back to the Alerax script if this is not sorted out.
  22. My squadron and I play regularly with the Soper Carrier in multiplayer in the release and we have experienced no performance problems. It actually works better than the Stennins if you place a large number of static aircraft and vehicles on deck. I run DCS to its max graphic settings. From your specs the only thing that comes to my mind is that your graphic card maybe your bottleneck. The SC as as early access has a zillion of things to fix but I would not say that performance optimization would be a top priority. Persian Gulf, Super Carrier and Hornets surely need an up to date rig to run then smothly but this is part of the software evolution. Look for a different configuration settings for your rig. There are a lot of post on this forum with great tips to optimize your performance in DCS.
  23. Press the Master Caution button. That would remove some but „not all“ of the messages and reorganize the message line making it a bit mor readable. Advisory messages such engaged autopilot modes cannot be removed and the „blank line“ even with no caution messages cannot be removed. I think there are some MOds that address this issue but the fact is that as you can see in the pic above, the advisory and caution messages are displayed on the left DDI rendering that screen not „optimal“ for the use of some formats such SA page
  24. Plenty of great ideas. All of them better than the actual Radio Menu option. Please ED fix this ASAP.
  25. Yes please allow us to remove that contraption and allow us mission designers to decide if this is allowed or not in a mission such we can do with other options like external views.......
