I love my u3011 - best monitor ever. i used a dual gtx 580 to play dcs, but a single will do fine as well (with decreased detail level of course) Have fun :-)

just one question here: would you always prefer lcd over led projectors? Sure, in a bright room the image quality decreases with led, but otherwise when dimming the room they seem good value for the money (heat production, lifespan,price). For example like this one: http://geizhals.de/762906 (Acer K130 DLP/LED (EY.JE601.001)). What do you think? Boris

Yes I'm a bit bored too, lately. I am into modern aircrafts with fixed wings. I was flying the a10 since the beta and the patches really improved the gameplay. However I didn't play much for the last 3 months since cas missions against ai forces are too repetitive over time. When they released bs2 I had a bad feeling that the next fixed wing dcs would be delayed, now with the p51... Although they keep telling that work is done in parallel fashion. I sure won't go for bs2 or ww2 aircrafts. So I'll take a pause and go for xplane or fc2 again. Greetings Boris

I love my u3011. I don't notice any input lag, when playing battlefield 3 and such. The colors are brilliant and the resolution speaks for itself. Just be sure to have enough graphic power :) Plus I like dell warranty, but hp might be fine here too.

doesnt tms down short just loose lock and does ground stabilize? What I do in these situations is to lock, loose lock, lock again, loose again until I lock the correct target. Other solutions would be to use force correlate mode (assuming you dont have agm65d) or gain altitude or get closer ;)

well you just have to try! install any monitoring program to watch your temperature of CPU and GPUs! Me for instance, I have 4 PCIe slots (named from top to bottom 1,2,3,4). However I could not use no. 1 and no.4 because no.1 was getting too hot sitting next to the overclocked CPU (both >80°C). So I had to switch the GPUs to slot 2 and 4, and reclock the CPU from 4.0Ghz to 3.8GHz. That´s how life treats you with its bittersweat lemons ;) Oh and be sure to have very good airflow in the case.. A good benchmark for stressing CPU and GPU is battlefield 3: It fully supports multi-GPU and multi-CPU systems (multicores). I dont trust synthetic stressmarks such as furmark or that pi-stress test ;)) Greetings boris

my 2 cents: wouldn´t buy ATI now and in the near future (last ATI card was x1900xt): You always read: poor driver support, occasional (driver related?) crashes on ATi-cards (hello kuky), bad tesselation (fixed 1 year too late) or inferior quality rendering. After all with multi-GPU or Multi-Monitor I had no problems so far with gtx470 or 580, so I´m happy about it. With my SLI I don´t care for crossfire-driver-preferences-whatsoeverthecrap: I just start the game and fine.. I dont change profiles or anything. I just start the game and it never crashes. @Terminal Meltdown I totally loved your funny posts and I can really understand you. :) Only strange thing is, that NVIDIA is very quit about their 6xx series (reminds me of Faildozer).
