I am having same problem as Ebs. I cannot refuel or change HMS/NVG with the mod installed. There is no voice/transmit messege, uninstall mod and I can refuel and change HMS/NVG like normal. These are currently the only problems I have noticed. If there is any fix let me know. Edit: I cannot use the F6 option either "select power source" it's the one for turbo gear on/off. I never use this, just an observation though. Edit: I disabled every mod I have (using jsgme), leaving only this jtac mod enabled and still cant refuel, change hms/nvg or use turbo gear option. I have no idea whats causing it, I even tried not using some of the files to see what file was causing it but cant figure it out. Great mod though, I'll just make sure for now to work around not having to refuel or change helmet.

While using triple screens, still use the "1 Screen" option and not the "3 Screen" option. Using the 3 screen option will destroy your frame rate and imo, look like crap. 1 screen will give you the best performance still even for triple screen layout. However, surround gaming with three screens in DCS has it's flaws like nearly every game with three screens, the side screens feeling a bit stretched and what not. But I haven't found a single game where that didn't happen to some extent. If you were already using the 1 screen option, then nevermind all this :D

You will not get 100% addition performance, but it can help. SLI works in full screen for DCS, it will not work in windowed mode. If you plan to use multiple monitors for gauges, mfds, etc, then you will need to disable sli in dcs profile or your framerate will be in the single digits. However if you plan to triple screen, fullscreen with SLI, then it'll work.

When I bought my warthog, the mic switch was already broke, so I never got to use it and never bothered with warranty. The wires for mine we're disconnected and the switch itself wasn't working correctly. I can't be of help, but if you ever get this fixed from TM or repair yourself i'll be interested in hearing about it.

I wasn't sure exactly how to interpret your post. Mainly it's CBUs , low flying black shark (ground effect) and mlrs, overcast clouds, and contrails. I am not sure what ones from your pictures depicts those explosions and effects. I also believe ED is more than well aware of these issues, I was just kind of ranting. To stay on topic with the thread, then I guess, from your pictures, I would say "explosion 1" "generic dust and smoke effect" Like I said before, I think the effects are great, just need fps tweaks, which ED is well aware of. I am unsure of how to rate them or give them grades as there is no system to rate them on, only personal opinion.

I just really really really want a steady framerate rather than effects and what have you causing fps to jump from 60 to 5 to 30 to 20 to 10 to 40 to 50 to 25 to 15 to 7 to 3 to 60 in the matter of a few minutes depending on whats going on. Other than that I'm not sure what to vote or rate? They look good, just need some serious tweaks I think.

This happens if you are not running full screen. Sometimes you may have a program open in the background and DCS is not the focus, even if you have helios and what not displaying all over your screens. Simply alt-tab back to the game to regain DCS as the focus, and it shouldn't be an issue. Otherwise use full-screen or make sure you click on the start when the game loads as this will make sure you have DCS as the focus from clicking it.

Seems like a great mod, but doesn't work well for me. Can't look closer with my trackir/head moving forward, and I am having a hard time trying to see my hud, no matter where I stable my trackir, high, low, mid. Happens when doing a gun run, and zoomed in. My head is always above the hud. Keep up the great work though peter, looks like this feels great for others. I use almost every mod you make :)

Have you tried using your A-10C Sim control settings for game? Saved games folder: Config\Input Backup A-10C_easy Copy A-10C Paste A-10C Rename A-10C - Copy to A-10C_easy I haven't tried this, but in theory it would take away any simplified controls from game avionics mode. You'd just play like usual I would assume, let me know if it works.

most likely the game isn't focused, a window might be open on your secondary behind the game. I found alt-tabbing back to the game fixed it.

Son of a....so allied force disc won't work? I'd pay a normal game price of $20-40 for it, can't justify $80 yet.

Questions How do I get started? Which copy do I need? Can I buy used, or is there cd-key type issues related to used? Can I buy it online anywhere as a download copy? Any issues with it running on Win7? What mods are out there for it, things to bring it up to date (heard of bms or something?) I did try google searches but there just seems to be so much info, I'd just like a simple start back into it. After all, I remember being a kid with my microsoft sidewinder joystick and taking off for the first time and landing, would like to do that again :)

I tried these settings and it's not as accurate as the keyboard, but it's getting closer. Thanks for the suggestions I'll keep tweaking custom curves.

I'm attempting to get the Shkval slew speed more in line with how the TGP is on the A10. I copied the A10 axis settings and it worked okay but not that precise, especially when in the narrow FOV. I have the TM hotas warthog. Anybody have a recommendation on the settings I should use? If I could get it as close as possible to the keyboard that would be awesome.. Can't quite get there yet, either too fast or too slow. Edit: I should note that I am using the same ball axis on the TM warthog throttle for the skhval as for A10 (default). I know I could use a different HAT switch and just assign the buttons, but would prefer the axis if possible.

I'll give that a try. EDIT: Uninstalled, re-installed. Updated to 6288. Stutter-load with A10 is still present, game is installed on an SSD. KA50, P51 do not stutter-load missions, just the A10 still. Haven't been able to do enough testing for burst gun run crash yet.... Frame rate is still the same (great) until an explosion happens. Fly around at 60fps, then start doing stuff at 5-30fps.

Has happened to me twice, very random. Version 6288. Each crash was after a long gun burst with the A10. Also, 6288 brought back the stutter-load on mission start in the A10 for me. P51 and KA50 does not have this issue.

I just received an email also with a new serial. Took them over two months, but finally I can play again.

Considering how long this has taken, I almost wonder if it would just be easier for ED to give us a copy of Black Shark 2. It's not like we are getting two copies of the game, our upgrades are rendered useless because of the black shark 1 serial issue.

I am getting great performance with the new update but still getting about 5-10sec of freeze-stutter-loading at the start of a mission. Game is installed on SSD.
