Force feedback Joystick from Moza
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to Thunderchief2000's topic in Input Devices
I think I have agreed back then to demonstrate how AB9 reacts to helicopter operations, like gearing up, firing, landing, etc. I have made a small video showing some of them and clear backlog. I made some special arrangement in making this video, so that I don't have to show my hands and pants... -
VRFGiPJP VR Benchmark series
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants's topic in Virtual Reality
Have not done benchmark for quite some time. Use a different replay for benchmark this in order to show the image quality better. Also, this is not very scientific and the first time I use VD instead of the Link cable. -
DCS VR Performance Optimization
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to Ready's topic in Virtual Reality
I did some benchmarks in VR and compare the difference between no AA with DLSS"4", playing the same replay in VR and here we go: Surprising the performance in this test between them are very, very close. Oh, forgot to mention: the video comes shortly.- 449 replies

HMD off when starting in-flight
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants's topic in Wish List
Anyway, I sort it out myself. -
Quest Pro with Ethernet | How-to
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to nikoel's topic in Virtual Reality
Thoughts: if my ethernet as a whole, i.e. the slowest network component, can go only up to 1000Mbps while the WiFi claims to go at fast as 1200Mbps, is it still worth to spend more £££ to use ethernet instead? -
Quest Pro with Ethernet | How-to
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to nikoel's topic in Virtual Reality
Update 2: I add the hub to connect up the PC and QPro and then the hub is connected to the WAN. Since the hub is a 10/100Mbps one, the bit rate is sadly at 47Mbps at DCS main menu. I guess I need a faster hub... -
Quest Pro with Ethernet | How-to
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to nikoel's topic in Virtual Reality
Update: I use the Android Studio's adb and it seems to work, as I connect to a router and the router also connects to the WAN, and it gets to the internet and even connects to the PC but VD tells me the PC is not in the same network. Either I live with this or get a router with more ports... -

VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to nikoel's topic in Virtual Reality
No it does not work Is there any return message when enabling ethernet using the ADB command? -

Quest Pro with Ethernet | How-to
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to nikoel's topic in Virtual Reality
Thanks, the problem is, the router only has 2 ports, one to the WAN/internet and the other to the PC, so one has to go... -
Quest Pro with Ethernet | How-to
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to nikoel's topic in Virtual Reality
Newcomer here, so I have a small router intended for WiFi connect with QPro over VD. If I go with the Ethernet route, so the router connection originally the internet now goes to QPro, while the other connection from the router to PC remains then. Am I correct? -
Virtual Desktop, LAN and Quest Pro
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants's topic in Virtual Reality
Big thanks! Let me start reading. -
This post here claims you need to update the Streamline also:
-
From the DLSS 4 discussion: I seriously want to know how to connect my Quest Pro to a LAN cable and work with Virtual Desktop to get great connect speed. Thank you in advanced.
-
Fingers crossed for I am not using Link with DCS for a long time...
-
Not sure the abandon ware part, but yup, VDXR is the way to go.

(In Bill and Ted's voices, but don't link me to that hardware YouTuber) To be fair, using the VD performance indicator says I am at 60fps as I have forced the FG, SR, and RR enabled using the NVIDIA Inspector. still a little blurry and a little comet like for anything moving things below the horizon. I am quite happy. I am doing an A/B test later.
-
Alright, I will give you a pass this time.
-
Seriously want to know how. DDU is a must. I would avoid both OTT and the NVIDIA app...

Balanced setting for DLSS generates longer trailer, regardless the subject is above or below me, it is worse.
