  1. The main issue I had with Pico4 was software -- can't stand SteamVR and it crashed all the time with DCS OpenVR. Wish me luck in getting a QPro...
  2. Now you make me want to buy a chair like this...your fault. Just a reminder, make some room so that your feet should not be fully on the rudder/anti-torgue pedals. should be half-way with your ankles on the "floor".
  3. Two-weeksTM... should have enough time to learn: fly the Apache properly, UH-1H gunnery, F-5E, MiG-21, Mirage F1, navigation on all the modules and make some more video update some mission long overdue. Well, this is one post not complaining.
  4. Very well then, still pushing my luck over at eBay…I run Q2 at high 1.3x at 90Hz, fyi.
  5. Well, ED said the same on Twitter about 16 hours ago.
  6. I guess it was known that the link on @cubanace signature does not work for quite a while.
  7. Sorry, you've got me wrong man, I want the binaries that's it.
  8. I dunno, if true, GD can ask a copy back from Glowing Sidewinder. Nevermind, we still have Su-57, don't we?
  9. Thanks for the reply. Understand the HMD issue. VT was out there but GD is not releasing it. Which is a shame.
  10. I wish to brought up the notion on HMD and thrust vectoring. I know the former may be able to do (c.f. JAS-39C) and the latter is definitely out there. Too bad GD probably very busying making their first official module...
  11. Have faith, my fried. This is the Year of Strike Eagle!!!
  12. I dunno if ED was ready or not. Addition: MB-339 was claimed to be ready and was sent to ED for code reviews, but after that message, the module finally released almost a year later.
  13. Definitely not today, even though I hoped it were.
  14. Any work on the F-14 series? The default cockpit texture actually tore the performance down.
  15. For so many years, there was nothing winter for V1, so I would wait and see.
  16. Well, you can reduce the flares to zero Try my BFM trainers. My problem is some planes tend to kiss the ground more often than the others.
  17. IIRC, this map does not have any winter like version 1.0
  18. First of all, it is not a rant. As an end user, I appreciated all the work done for most of the mods, people worked in their free time, mostly for free and brought us some of the most marvellous and amazing range of aircrafts (and some time vehicles) and many of them are still right in my mod list. Some of them even managed to become official modules. Second, it is not about abandonware. Each of the mods was unique. The mod makers were also unique in their own situation. Yes, there were mods which were abandoned due to reasons of any kind. There was no commitment, unless otherwise specified. ED might not love every single one of them and not incorporating them into the official part of the system, but as long as we were enjoying them, I had not issue with this. Thirdly, it is about the future. I saw many talents and some of them were magical -- from a person who did coding for a living would mean something I guess. Well, I know many possessed some skills that were truly unique -- e.g. creating the HMD display on UH-60L out of the blue, vector thrusting on various projects. I think it would have be a waste for many of these technical skills could benefit other models. I sincerely hoped there could have been more exchanges of skill around. It would flourish the community and benefited the user at the end. And for a more sensitive subject -- money. This was a very complicated subject. I knew direct donation might be a way, but it would make the relationship between the donor and the mod maker more complicated. I would personally like to see more mods outside the use of FC3, e.g. the F-16I projects. Instead of giving money directly, it might be a way to "crowdfund" an official module to a community or individual for modding. Just my silly and unfiltered thoughts. Thank you for read this till the end.
