Thanks. Is there anyway to check if the final JSON file is correct or not? -

But there is no "Trump Heights" yet (not that I am suggesting): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trump_Heights -

VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to markturner1960's topic in DCS: Iraq
Full videos of both previous "first-look" are out. It is better than AF in terms of both colour and features. In my book. if a map cannot give 60fps when flying at 40kph, the map really has a problem, best example is the early version of Normandy 2.0. I prefer the building in Sinai better but the rooftops in Iraq have some what more varieties, making me think I could stop by one, sit down and have a drink with little umbrella on it. And, without expectation, the Iraq is more greener looking than other "desert maps". -

Further question: The first part asking ChatGPT of researching is easy, but how to teach the AI to learn and then put in the proper parameters in form of a JSON profile file is the part I do not quite get. Thank you for sharing. -

This is my fault during editing...skipping the details, it was me stupid closing the original timeline and without taking the effort of redoing, I just reuse most of the original timeline, and did not notice the stuttering. If you want to know how it performs in built-up area, please have a go with the video of Baghdad. It is taken by flying on a fixed wing so it should give you a good idea how it fares. BTW, I am going to post the original files (both are longish) for your further examinations. -

Thrusmaster TPR Hydraulic Damper Mod
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to Greekbull's topic in Thrustmaster
More noob question. Is there any spec for the damper itself? Or is this good enough? https://amzn.eu/d/47dO2BG -

We can start making more profiles like MB-339A and even enhance existing ones. -

MOZA AB9 not working, no centering force
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to Ginsu80's topic in Input Devices
The thing is, I always use profile, and I never use direct mode. Looks like it could be my problem too. -
MOZA AB9 not working, no centering force
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to Ginsu80's topic in Input Devices
Did the stick do a self test when on? If you don't mind, I assume the base is connected directly to the PC, not onto a USB hub. Also, the DCS part of the MOZA software should show something like this: Sorry if I am not helpful, you may wish to bring it to the Moza Discord. -
Thrusmaster TPR Hydraulic Damper Mod
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to Greekbull's topic in Thrustmaster
Shame, it is not available in the UK and the least expensive option is more than £45. Also I need to find how to mount it to TPR. -

Checking, have you installed the scipts under the folder Saved Games -> Dcs -> Scripts -> Moza? -

The command is "Open Sesame". Or you need a gold coin/token from the world of John Wick. Kidding aside, I hate this too.

Moza AB9 base and extension
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants's topic in Input Devices
We shall see. Touch wood let's hope the new extension would not break after 50 minutes of fighting a helicopter or a F-16C mission. As shown in a video using it as MFSSB device, there is a force from the base always counteracting the pilot's input. It may not be always pulling away at 100% but I think it is a good start to test the base and the extension. -
Shame I am very much looking forward to the SA map update.

Skid on shore landing

This also happens with F/A-18E. I think I need some more practice.
