  1. We shall see. Touch wood let's hope the new extension would not break after 50 minutes of fighting a helicopter or a F-16C mission. As shown in a video using it as MFSSB device, there is a force from the base always counteracting the pilot's input. It may not be always pulling away at 100% but I think it is a good start to test the base and the extension.
  2. Shame I am very much looking forward to the SA map update.
  3. This also happens with F/A-18E. I think I need some more practice.
  4. Then, if you have a problem, feel free to start your own topic and say whatever you want to. I check again my topic has nothing to do with who you are trying to talk to. I have spoken.
  5. Sorry i bought it with my own money. Also I am not reviewing the base or anything.
  6. As it is made totally enclosed, i can’t tell the thickness.
  7. I thought DLC and spoilers were auto…
  8. It is the same as any base. The tricky part is figuring out which base is the real thing.
  9. Hard to tell how strong it is as I have not tested it under the hammer... LOL I received it yesterday and only have a relaxed flight on a Super Hornet. As promised in another thread, I will give the base and shake and see how it fares.
  10. I think I better start a new thread. As a user of 2 FFB sticks (third coming in some time -- in the future!) it is not a new thing but it is revived lately and it is natural for people get excited. And for contents creation goes, it is nature that you can only show or review a piece of hardware so much, then it goes behind the scene. The longest series I could find is a British guy who gets his hand on a Rhino with 3 to 4 videos. To me, no it does not improve my flying, only a combination of practice, learning, reflection helps. FFB makes it easier since you get more than just visual and audio feedbacks. It is exciting as it is immersive. Believe it or not, my Moza base is from my very own pocket -- who cares about a YouTuber who doesn't earn a penny from the channel? And I know a couple of people who are also like me, one even has the other modern FFB stick out there. He has some videos about Moza. I think his opinions worth checking out Hint: he is Spanish-speaking. I am definitely keeping Moza, even may be later solely for the planes with HOTAS on the right. Well, it is less expensive than most solutions out there for a dedicated MFSSB device. As for the promised project, I think I am working on some other piece of software which shall-not-be-named first, then I will attempt it with the goal of not breaking the base. Stress testing a piece of £400+ hardware has no place in this household. I can say normal chopter flying, like manually flying and hovering the Ka-50III for over 50 minutes, had disappointingly failed to warm my legs in this cold winter. Later. I get my self a 150mm extension from eBay which is 3D-printed. Very "plastic" feeling. The bright side is the height is just right for me and the setup. Say I can press the Button 2 on my F/A-18 grip without my right arm leaving the lap. How strong will this setup goes, only time will tell. Gonna take some pictures and run some tests on this thing. Don't hold your breath though.
  11. Looks like the latter, I would be too nervous to pull the "hand brake" in VR. Thanks for clarification, I never inteded DCS to be GPL or iRacing of any sort.
  12. Will give it a shot! Thanks.
  13. Thanks! Dang, some people on the internet will love this...
  14. Thanks guys. F-14 is such a unique plane. Lovely!
  15. During shore landing, especially when it is raining, when I apply brakes, the plane goes round and round, even I have set "Anti-skid" to both. Any tips for me, please?

  17. Redo the F-5E remastered cockpit comparison
  18. The setting can be found here (another shameless plug): The earlier video is Thunderstorm density 14.
  19. The discussion And my shameless plug https://youtu.be/B7E0LrtDp7A
  20. As you can see in my fog comparison video, too. At first, I thought it were the reflection of the taxi light...
  21. Slow down tiger, these are a ton of questions you are asking and, as you can see in my vid, I am absolutely no proficient helo flyer. But thanks, as you have given the idea what to do in Shake It Moza #2 video... About quick return, I think it depends on the situation, in helo, it is very rare for me to have to move the stick full range, it is more likely to happen in fixed wing. When the base started, it does move the stick to near right then to far left and back to centre, but the speed here is very moderated and slow which does not give you a good picture of the speed. I don't know how likely this happens for a plane is not a car, which the former has no oversteer nor understeer which turns the wheel to the extreme. Depending on the profile used, the stick can have little to no force to make it upright. In this case, the stick actually is very light, even lighter than the default Warthog. So very fine movement, in theory, is possible. But in the actual play, you don't want to have it. FYI, the F-16C profile simulates a MFSSB stick (do not confused with MSFFB which I usually do) which the stick basically stays upright (imagine a piece of wood...) and moves very little when force is applied. I am told by the Moza staff who created it that this profile could have more room for improvement, but that staff seems to have left...
  22. How come I can mix rain with dust storm? Anyway, having fun playing around with weather here, and you don't have to be the US government to do that... (just kidding)
  23. I am a bit optimistic here for the reason as presented by the image below. BTW, I use the Weather Mod and on MSAA, so far, no such issue.
  24. I guess since I am on a IKEA sofa, it is lower than most of game chairs out there. I have never used a 3D printed extension before so thank you for sharing. The length of the extension is not all about where the hands are holding but also how small the stick movements can archive. I find this can be a rather tricky topic.
