  1. I take off following B-FY, then everyone behind me makes suicide. Happened twice, same thing. Track attached. beware-sortie1-fail.trk
  2. Did anyone try this mission recently (MiG-15)? It seems a lot harder than videos I see on youtube. There, F-5s start attacking only after C-17 is shot down and even then they don't try very hard. MiG-15 in one video dogfights and wins with fuel tanks still on, sometimes flying straight with F-5 on his six. I sometimes take damage from F-5 snipers before getting to C-17. Once I did kill C-17 and evaded them, but run out of fuel, landed in canyon close to home base. Some missions before were hard, but as I improved they got easier, not this one, even after 10 attempts. So I have feeling that in current version, lot of skill and luck is needed (or I'm doing something very wrong). EDIT: Just after I wrote this, I tried one more time... At about same moment I killed C-17 and got heavy damage from F-5s. They just turned away and landed, I went home and barely managed to land due to damage. But, mission successful!
  3. M12 is transport escort, I think you described something else. But I applied your suggestions and succeeded (after many attempts). I think biggest problem was going too slow or pulling to much AOA. And also MiG's slow rate of fire, bullets go above and below of enemy wings... and then you run out of ammo. Spoilers for mission
  4. How to spot bandits, on radio they see them at 2 o'clock, but I see nothing there. So I just circle and sometimes find them, sometimes they shoot me. But when I do find them (mostly on my 6), how to win a fight instead of doing infinite turns? It feels like generic instant missions for MiG-15 are easier. Are bandits in M12 high level AI or I'm so bad or just had bad luck? Btw, mission briefing has minor error, says Ordinance 2*FAB 100kg, but there are no bombs.
  5. I completed several missions with MiG-15 on latest Open Beta, no problems. There is option to manually complete mission using F10 comm option, maybe that was executed for you somehow at mission start?
  6. Just to let you know, I went back and that is working fine now. Maybe working too good. I just damaged one Cobra and after 50 seconds got next tasking. Su-25 are fast to deal with Cobras. Good thing that mission restrictions are not very strict, as I had to land for rearming to finish tasking. I guess I'm too trigger happy.
  7. That's what I found to be best tactic, from high and behind. But they can turn in a second and gun you once you com a bit lower. Nasty things. I thought that track was maybe messed as I used time speed to shorten first part of mission. But it looks like that had no impact on play or the track. As I see same weird things in with debriefing screen and in Tacview track. I killed Cobra2, and that's fine. Cobra1 was hit with R-73 and continued to fly, but debriefing shows "ai abort mission" as last event. In Tacview I see that I managed to hit it minute or two later, but it's not shown in debriefing. From Tacview I see he started flying away, I shortly saw it, but lost it completely and he was far out of AO. nullMaybe that should be counted as a win, he did run away.
  8. @Apache600 it's not easy to kill those helicopters. Tried few times, I crash or they kill me. Then finally I managed to kill one, other was killed by AI. But then nothing. This time I got no message that they are dead and I should wait for further tasking. Am I doing something wrong? Here is track, if it helps.   9. I'm getting the same problem now on latest OpenBeta. The only difference is that I lost track of helicopters so Su-25 killed them. I did get info to wait for further tasking, then waited long time, until I was the only one flying and still nothing. I checked campaign folder and mission 7 file has correct date, March 10th, so it is updated. Maybe for triggers to work properly I have to do a helicopter kill? Love the campaign so far, this is the first time I encountered a problem in it.
  10. This solution works, but when I changed it in Munkwolf's default.lua for custom Fast and Slow bindings, I got warnings about duplicate controls defined. Then I discovered a better fix. No need to change lua, just set keybinds for "RSI-6K Wave Control Handle" instead "RSI-6K Receiver Tuning Knob". Maybe it's some kind of bug, as with mouse when you control transmiter, receiver is not changing. But when I made keybind to transmiter, both receiver and transmiter are adjusted when you press that keybind.
  11. @Charly_Owl thanks for MiG-15 manual update, I have to go back to that module now. BTW, page 94 has copy/paste error for landing gear speed limit? It has same text as line above for flaps.
  12. Good points, to me it looked like generic problem, but I didn't play anything else except training and that campaign in CA. Could be that something in mission scripts is messing with unit movement.
  13. Yes, I remember that thread, it helped me to win some missions. But it's been some time since I played, and most of the problems I do remember are known, AI related. Worst of all was pathfinding, units stop moving without a reason. So missions where you have to command many moving ground units... it's BAD.
  14. @Callsign112 Once you get used to workarounds for problems, there is fun in playing it. But still, be ready for frustrating moments from time to time. I hope there will be improvements for CA in near future, and then some new campaign.
  15. Just finished the mission, had no problem with Apex trigger. But it is a bit confusing, wasn't clear that I should wait Apex and only then press spacebar, I pressed it when taking off and all worked, just dialog was a bit off. There is an error in kneeboard, it shows I must park in Charlie, same as earlier missions. But ground radio said Golf, where was also the start. I parked and nothing, thought maybe I really have to go to Charlie... But I just had to wait for Biff to land and come to Golf.
  16. I had error with Spitfire, 'Supercharger Mode AUTO else M.S. (2-way Switch)' doing the opposite thing, fixed it with changing values 0 to 1 and 1 to 0 in default.lua. So I guess it's not me, but error in lua.
  17. When you quit mission, you get score window with several buttons, one of them is Save track. I don't know if there is some option for auto save, as I forgot to do it manually and just closed window too many times.
  18. And that's why it's best to save a track when something strange happens in a mission. With a track it would be clearer is it a bug or user error. I didn't have any problems in that mission. Biff did have longer pause, I thought it's stuck, but it continued on the way to the tanker.
  19. You mean this? Mission 09: Updated voiceovers about Mask Zone question. Fixed possible bug where mission gets stuck after TGP discussion. Added additional checklists / references to the kneeboard. I had the problem on open beta after patch that contained this point. There were several complaints about same thing, all after that patch on Jan 27th. So maybe it fixed one problem, but created new one.
  20. It's been long time since I last played M-2000C training missions, but I do remember problems. Nice to hear that training update is in plans. But if it will take some time, is it possible to update mission description, add on top some warning or "known bugs" for problematic missions? I remember I had problems, then digging through manual and forums to find what I'm doing wrong, just to realize mission is not in sync with module. And for you it would reduce need to reply in forum that it is known bug and in plan for a fix.
  21. Boats are there, but impossible to find without help. AWACS is not working as described, so I told my wingman to attack ships, and he did know where the boats are, started attacking them, then you can see his SPI. It seems this mission has much more problems than finding ships. I will try once more, but this thread describes the mission as mostly broken:
  22. @Ready again great video, I can use it to show two dialogue errors I also got today in mission 9. 1:17:28 - Lotus says that radar altitude should show 0, is this error or I misunderstood something? 1:30:00 - both saying "M1" , but TGP shows "M4"
  23. I had this in M09, both Nellis and Lotus talking at same time, then me replying when someone still talks... I agree, campaign is great, such things are minor issues.
