solved NS430 not showing in VR, but works fine in non-vr
Rinz1er replied to Rinz1er's topic in Bugs and Problems
Not a binding issue. I was able to figure it out... The key was that I am using hand controllers and for some reason it puts the ns430 on the wrist of the left hand controller. If I disable the hand controllers it the options menu, I get the expected behavior of it being glued to my face. See the pic below to see what I am talking about -
solved NS430 not showing in VR, but works fine in non-vr
Rinz1er posted a topic in Bugs and Problems
Hello, I just purchased this module from steam because of its support for VR in DCS, however I can't get the overlay to show in VR. I am using DCS 2.7.9.18080 Open Beta The strange thing is, that it works perfectly fine in non-vr. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you & best regards -

Probably dreaming. I would be happy with just the new hardpoint for LD10/SD10 on the belly and the HMD

So, in the past two days, supposedly the PAF received and conducted a first taxi ceremony of their new JF17 Block 3's, and I couldn't help to notice the picture of the banner from the event which was later posted on twitter. It shows the new JF17's loaded out with PL-10E on the wingtips, Dual rack PL-15 on the outer pylons and possible the CM-400AKG on the inner pylons with a single PL-15 on the center pylon. We also see what looks like a chin mounted TGP pod. Looking forward to some videos and pictures of this thing flying IRL and I would love to see some of these additions come to Deka's model for DCS.

Has Deka decided yet? What's their next module?
Rinz1er replied to J-20's topic in Deka Ironwork Simulations
I have a feeling(hope) that Deka may be working on a JAS39 Gripen module -
Looks like I can't contol lantirn from the RIO seat anymore. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yeah I am not going to deny that I would also love to see this! And I completely agree with your points that this wouldn't be a loadout that you would take all the time because you would have to choose between a fuel tank and the jammer on top of the aspiration concern. Though the flexibility of putting a single SD-10 or LD-10 on that inner pylon would really help with making more flexible loadouts.

reported Steam DCS will not launch after latest update
Rinz1er replied to HotdogWater's topic in Steam Support
There is a new client update for steam that just got pushed 10 minutes ago. Go to Steam -> Check for steam client updates This just fixed this issue for me. -
Hello ya'll! Forgive me if this was previously answered, but was there any use of an SD-10 on the inner rail of the JF-17. I found this obvious artist interpretation of an PL-12 being put on the inner pylon and wondered if this ever occurred in reality.

You need to turn on the CLDP switch. Try it, I promise it will solve your issue.

Did you remember to turn on the wmd on the AAP?

@IronMikeI have always used the jettison canopy to get around this. When you jettison your canopy. It is recognized as damage and then you can repair normally. However there appears to be another bug where the canopy does not get repaired(put back) after the jettison. So you essentially trade your broken flaps/gear for no canopy...

The switch was already there in the RIO seat. They mentioned that they would add it to the Jester menu. Which as far as I can tell, did not come in the hotfix.
-
I feel like I have noticed this too for switching TACAN via Jester too.
-
Curious, where is the document? Edit: oh you said above through an FOI request
-
I have noticed this too. I can also say that compared to the f18, the formation light strips are basically non-existent when viewing the plane from further than 25 yards.

This along with the inability to repair the landing gear flaps and canopy, have caused me a great deal of frustration and time.
-
Yeah would be nice. The first post that came in the 2.7 post(which was later edited out) said a 'few' days. And then last Saturday they said again it would be another few days. And now Cobra said they are not comitting to an ETA but that they are targetting the end of next week. While I appreciate the communication, the repeated in a 'few days' statements make it a little frustrating.

Did you mean to say hornet? This is the f14 section.

Still seeing some of these issues in 2.7 as well. Jettisoned Canopy does not get replaced when repaired Ejected RIO does not get replaced when repaired(not sure if he would) Popped tires/damaged landing gear does not meet the threshold for a repair Jammed flaps does not meet the threshold for a repair
