Yes I have found them, for 1:72 planes the are actually cheaper than the website I got mine from. But for some reason, www.aviationmegastore.com doesn't have 1:100 scale planes :-). I bought mine from an English site. My first was a Phantom, followed by a spitfire and then a B17F flying fortress. Then a 17-18th century ship of the line.

Thanks! Will do! I find the startup , the updater executable (in the BIN folder). Commands did not work on the D drive, found a DCS page where you can also download a batfile which you can place in the root of the DCS World. Lets see if it also bring the executables back in the start menu

hello, I just installed a new (clean) version off windows 11 on my C drive. My DCS is installed on the D drive. Do I need to reinstall DCS? If so, what is the best way to save all my bindings? Any suggestions on the best way to do this?

Hi, A typical chitchat subject, but I came across a website that sold nice quality metal plane models and decided to buy the 1/100 scale model F/A-18F model and it's looking awesome on my desk. Are there more people who got interested in these models by playing DCS? Where do you buy them? I am also thinking of buying the Eurofighter Tyfoon (I'm European), The F15 Eagle and the SU-35. Ps. As a kid I made some plane models and loved doing it, but the metal of the model I have now is so much nicer than the plastic feel.

Hi, Perhaps someone can help me. I had E1 and E2 configured for com1 and com2. When you turn the dials you change the volume, when you push and turn them you change the channel. I had to update everything and had to remap & redo everything. But I can't remember how I made the push of E1/2 switch appear as modifier in DCS. Can anyone that knows please send me a PM? Thanks!!

I was hoping to drawn on your knowledge of Virpil and the throttle CM3 On the throttle you have dials E1 and E2. Before my reset I had them configured as follows: - clockwise volume up/counterclockwise volume down - press and turn clockwise Channel up/counterclockwise Channel down But I can't for the life of me remember how I did it or find the Youtube video where it is described. What's in my mind buried very deeply is that I used the button when you press as a modifier and made it show in DCS under modifier.

Thanks I found out that I just need to add the ranges and then automatically buttons are made Do you know by any chance how to add additional functionality to radio/volume buttons by pressing it? I can't remember how I did that a year ago.

They changed the software, where you first could enter the axis and the range and assign a button, there is no space to assign the button anymore Any suggestion how to do that now?

Hello, Due to moving I have not played for a while and when connecting all my virpil hardware I noticed that it was not working as before anymore. I downloaded the new software, updated to the new firmware and noticed that it has changed a bit, what I read it should have been easier. However, I have no clue how to configure it i.c.w. my 2 detents I have on the throttle. The first detent is between 0-7%, the second detente is 72 - 100% Anyone know a good video on how to configure the Virpil software icw DCS stop -idle x-100% military power and then the afterburner range? I did some investigation, the Winwing supports the 4080 aluminum profile (40x80mm), the Virpil mount has a 76mm width. Perhaps with 2 x 2mm spacers the WinWing MIP can be attached to the center mount.

thanks I will try this! I can also save profiles can't I? Maybe a good idea to do that as well, what would be the best time to do it before and after I do all the axis's - buttons again?

Will the export - import work if some options do axis to buttons diffently?

I did in sim mode in config. section. How do I check if DCS is in SIM mode? I did that for my rudder pedals, but when al is clear and I click on Rudder to configure (and i comes up empty), I move my rudder and it does autofill when I move the axis

Any idea why DCS keep adding rudder to my flaps control? Does it mean I also have configure my throttle for detent and flaps axis to buttons again? And would you know what my buttons are recognised in the Virpil test tool but when i want to configure my little joystick button to the vertical en horizontal TDC it won't be recognised (like with my rudder)? How do you reflash?

Hello, Because I was moving house and had quite a bit of renovating to do. I had my Virpil gear in storage (stick, throttle and rudder). Today I wanted to set up my DCS again and connected my gear. I went in the plane, free flight and really nothing seem to work. I checked in virpil tester and all my gear seem to be working however I had to calibrate everything again. Then I noticed that when I wanted to check my settings in DCS, they were also not working normal anymore. It seemed that a lot of the hard work for configuring my gear was gone. Even my Rudder didn't work as it should anymore. Example, my flaps handle from my throttle keeps getting assigned to my rudder for some reason. I tried to reconfigure the basics but for some reason DCS doesn't auto detect the movement on the hotas anymore when try to assign something. it took a lot of time in google and configuring to get DCS to work, but it seems I am f*cked. Anyone have any suggestions on how to approach this? If I have to start from scratch would this be a good time to update the firmware and software?

I just copied his settings, don’t know what did it, just enjoy it. Also added a shader, now it’s faster and looks better. I am happy!

I still havent added something to all the buttons... still challenged by the 5 way dial with the 6 buttons...

I love the setup, but would it not be more useful to have a Virpil mount for your stick (in the center) and attach these control panels to it? That might be easier to reach (and read if you label them)? Like in their own picture?

I just checked the file on my ipad pro but when enlarging to see all the text at the buttons it became blurry…… is it better to download and look?
