I didn't expect all of Denmark to be on the map. And even so far north as Göteborg in Sweden and even southern tip of Norway. I understand these places won't get any details and just be green mosh. But having Skagerrak there adds the ability for many historically plausible cold war missions.

I did a quick look. Did a quick check GDR does not have any liveries for MiG23/25. And even with red force. The only liveries available for these two aircraft are Algerian.

It also doesn't apply to say ship accuracy (unless something has changed recently) a German U-boat with it's 20mm gun can whipe out 10 enemy aircraft without breaking a sweat. It can also chrug off a direct hit from a 500lb bomb.

Would still perfer the A block 10/15 for some proper early 80s stuff. And used into the mid/late 90s in export countries before the MLU.

Also need it for the warbirds. It was particularly common to use in the navy/marine aircraft that are coming.

F1, F4, F14 all have very good FFB effects for my brunner. The warbirds have limited effects. Especially lack of strength of resistance. In that other ww2 sim. Once i pass 500mph in a dive the stick is almost unmovable. In DCS same aircraft same dive speed. Just a slight resistance.

Turn off the little watch at the bottom of mission editor. It's quite useless. As it's to specific. The 109K4 wasn't produced until latter half of 44. And since ED hasn't made even an AI model of an earlier 109. That's what we're stuck with. That stop watch isn't very useful as there are few to variations of aircraft. This isn't just for ww2 But wont let you select the MiG21Bis until far into the 70 or 80s for many countries. As those countries used earlier models.

Will we be able to set up MFDs? So I don't have to set up the MFD at the beginning of the mission to avoid getting semi-usesless screen on the MFDs when I activate modes?

I'm not gonna buy anything from Razbam. For all we know 3 months after the 23 is relased, they'll do hissy fit and then it won't be supported like the F15E. I would much rather not rely on Razbam for any improvement to DCS. The Razbam ED kerfuffle might be solved in a month, a year or never. DCS needs improved 3d models for MiG23, 25 and Su22 2 years ago. I would much rather ED make those models now. Then wait for something that might never happen. The AI model is en MLD, so ED can make an improvement MLD 3d model, Razbam isn't making the MLD. So at worst we get 2 high quality 3d models of a mig23 instead of none. Only ED and Razbam have any idea of this is going to end well, and even they seemed lost at times. Having Core 3d model improvements held up because mabye, maybe not Razbam and ED become friends again isn't a great place to be.

Why are you asking that? My wishes are only that the current terrible AI 3d models get improved. If the razbam FF gets released then that's fine. If not. I don't want to wait 5 years(or forever) to see the 23, 25 and 22 improved. Not a very hard concept to understand? Obviously it takes far less time to makeca decent quality 3r model then a FF module. And I'm sure one of the reasons ED hasn't bothered improving the 3d model is that they are expecting someone to make a FF module of the aircraft. Since now it doesn't look like we'll get a FF 23 anytime soon. They should make improved 3d modes for the mig 23, 25 and Su22. As they are sorely messing from cold war action.

But that's not gonna happen for another 5 years(or never) unless Razbam does something. So I would rather have a high quality 3d model of the MiG23, MiG25 and Su22. This year, then wait for a FF flying module that might never come. I assume one of the reasons ED never bothered making better 3d models of those as because someone was making a FF module (rumours of Su22 has been around for years) Now none of this seem to happen. So I would like better quality 3d models of the AI units. Because they look so bad. I don't even use them. And the MiG21 has to fight as a primary jet for the soviet Union until the MiG29 and Su27 show up in decent numbers around the mid 80s.

The first 4 months of the year has not been very DCS heavy, a combo of other games, and waiting for stuff to show up in DCS(I have several mission done, but I want those new fancy infantry models) I’ve finally done a proper mission/video, this is my most edit heavy video I’ve done in about 5 months. I made this mission back when those fog effects were new, but the mission ran badly with my 3090, and my AI wingmen would turn on their back and nose into the ground as soon as I asked them to attack the enemy. Now that bug is fixed, and I got a 5090 so I gave the mission another go. Germans have sabotaged a bridge, and so the Americans have to shift their forces to cross a pontoon bridge, but the Germans have made a cunning trap for them. A 4 ship of P-47s take off in the soup to cover the american river crossing. Lots of boom boom.

I just want a better AI model for the mig23, 27 and su17/22

Yay, hadn't seen this before, I've still been using the original splash lua I think. No more adding "explode unit" to all my ammo and fuel trucks in the triggers!

Not sure how that would work, as the 3d map won't load unless you start the mission. So while a bit of a main in the ass. I think we just have to accept that we have to live with loading the mission to check placement

I'll find it. It's not a full made mission. It's just an air start right into the action. Like a quick mission.
