Doesn't seem possible. Honestly both the Spitfire and P51 are far harder to control. I've slammed the throttle forwards and back. And only slight rudder is needed to keep it under control.

Is prop governor the same as propeller RPM? There is a propeller RPM +- bind in none axis, but in axis only the Prop Governor

I get this after I updated the server yesterday and installed WW2 Marianas. Quick repair didn't do anything, so I'm doing a slow one, I would be rather annoyed if I had to install it again(and since several maps are missing from the install, I have to manually install them again too.) Edit with slow repair I get this And this logautoupdate_log.txt

You'll need a lot more assets first. And i thin Marianas is way way to small as a stand in for Solomons. It might be a stand in for other islands. But it doesn't have a lot of dry land.

Love we finally have a warbird with this. But is it in feet, yards or meters.

Not sure why they use the 190 for zero. Ok. It lools vaguely like one. But it's flight characteristics is opposites. The Spitfire behaves much closer to the zero. Being a turn flighter.

To be fair, as far as I know. No other combat simulators have this feature either. AI had always been able to do a Souron and their gaze pierce cloud and flesh. -

I'm less excited about the sniper pod then I was. It doesn't appear to be any major advantage over the lightning we have. A bit better zoom and resolution perhaps. But smaller FOV. And no major improvements in features. From what little I've found online about the lightning vs sniper -
Would be cool. Not only for the Corsair. But for a tiny bit more namish real estate. However if we get the Corsair and carrier. There is a couple of empty islands up north on modern Marianas I can place some stuff to blow up. For a few weeks until ww2 Marianas shows up.

My understanding is that only the first few units would be free. While later assets would require you to buy the SA map. But that doesn't really matter now. Since we probably won't see any more SA based assets. -
I doubt they'll add any new infantry units until the current new modern US and insurgent infantry is done. I assume they are making animated "skeletons" that will let them add different 3d models over them. Letting them use those new more realistic animation on all kinda infantry types. Basically making new 3d models and attach it to the animation "skeleton " I do hope this is their plan and I do hope those new infantry models can come soon. So we can get more infantry models for all periods and regions (cold war, Vietnam, ww2, middle east etc etc)

I was scud hunting in western Iraq in a 2 flight of F16s. I had mk82s and my wingman CBU87s. I attack the target. Keeping several thousand feet up to avoid the nasty AAA and Manpad threat. My wingman on the other hand. Flies just 1000 feet over the target area at 400knots at most to drop the CBUs. 4 AAA guns and manpad opens up on him. Somehow he surives 2 manpad hits. And does a 3rd attack (this time with guns, however he never actually fire his guns) he just makes sure the manpad and AAA can shoot at him. After a 3rd manpad hit. He flies for a few minutes before ejecting because of no fuel. To spend several weeks in Irai hospitality. It would be very helpful if you could add to the AI to never go below a certain altitude during attacks.(specifically my flight) I know you can add altitude for AI set to ground attack.

My understanding is both the carrier and ground units will be part of DCS core. You don't need to own the Corsair. So if you don't want the Corsair. But buy the Hellcat. You can use the Essex carrier with the Hellcat -
This is mostly for 16/18. When I want old school helment. I want my wingman(s) to use the same. As of now he looks stupid, flying around in that ugly JHMCS, while I'm sporting the classic sleek helmet. Same with the countermeasures. Now with the DTC. At least make the flight use the same as you, even if pure AI flights can't.

I think it's coming right away. I think it's been done for quite some time, just waiting for the Corsair.

I think we all should just be happy if they get the Corsair over the finish line.(which seems lie they might be doing sometime this year) we'll get to spend time crashing on the carrier. Trying to hit some Japanese tanks. I hope ED comes with infantry. As it would be very unsatisfactory if we never had the chance to bomb and strafe infantry. Or save some Marines. The island battles were mostly infantry battles. But that's for ED i think.

I do hope ED plans on making US/Japanese infantry, I understand they are probably waiting for the new infantry modeles/animation stufff for infantry, before making more types if infantry. But those Island battles in the Pacific were mostly infantry based combat. And so not being able to have realistic scenarios because of lack of infantry would be a huge let down.
