Ok, this is a bit odd, I have 64 gig, But when Running server and DCS I use 31 gig of ram, however task manager says that's 95% so somehow my PC only uses half of my ram, even though, all places say 64(bios, NVidia app etc.

Nope all is standard. No fancy or automated overclocking.

I have 32gig Vram and 64 gig DDR5 ram, so it's odd that I should run out of RAM, but I guess that is what is happening, also odd I can fly this in singe player with goodish performance, but the on a dedicated server it crashes instantly.

As I said no crash dump is made. I did a repair and never had any mods, and it still crashes when selecting blue or red side. I uninstalled the entire dedicated install, thinking if I installed the CWG map with the full install, it might fix it. But CWG map isn't part of the install yet.

Title says it all, since I kept getting crashes on the CWG map when running on a dedicated server, I uninstalled the entire dedicated server install, and thought I'd install it a new to make sure there wasn't any problems, but there is no CWG map in the installer yet.

And it's dcs that crashes not the server. If I start the same mission in singleplayer. It works. But when joining my own server. The game crashes on or after coalition select. I don't get a crash file/zip. But I did send the crash through the crash reporting system. Edit, it seems to be related to the CWG map, I took a mission from Kola map, and the server and everything worked. So It's CWG related

Only fix i had was to move the saved games folder back to C drive. Apparently you can movd the main DCS saved games folder to any drive yoi want. But dedicated server saved games folder must be in C drive for some reason

I'm amazed they actually did a patch during Easter. What about the liveries for the GDR?

I have made a few desert storm missions with the 10C. And 10A skin and it's okish. Just like it's okish to fly an F16C with just AIM-9Ls and pretend it's a F16A block 10. But it's not really good enough. Especially if you want a full blown campaign.

Good spot. I'm not good at cold war tanks and thought it was maybe an updated model for early T72.

I didn't expect all of Denmark to be on the map. And even so far north as Göteborg in Sweden and even southern tip of Norway. I understand these places won't get any details and just be green mosh. But having Skagerrak there adds the ability for many historically plausible cold war missions.

I did a quick look. Did a quick check GDR does not have any liveries for MiG23/25. And even with red force. The only liveries available for these two aircraft are Algerian.

It also doesn't apply to say ship accuracy (unless something has changed recently) a German U-boat with it's 20mm gun can whipe out 10 enemy aircraft without breaking a sweat. It can also chrug off a direct hit from a 500lb bomb.

Would still perfer the A block 10/15 for some proper early 80s stuff. And used into the mid/late 90s in export countries before the MLU.

Also need it for the warbirds. It was particularly common to use in the navy/marine aircraft that are coming.

F1, F4, F14 all have very good FFB effects for my brunner. The warbirds have limited effects. Especially lack of strength of resistance. In that other ww2 sim. Once i pass 500mph in a dive the stick is almost unmovable. In DCS same aircraft same dive speed. Just a slight resistance.

Turn off the little watch at the bottom of mission editor. It's quite useless. As it's to specific. The 109K4 wasn't produced until latter half of 44. And since ED hasn't made even an AI model of an earlier 109. That's what we're stuck with. That stop watch isn't very useful as there are few to variations of aircraft. This isn't just for ww2 But wont let you select the MiG21Bis until far into the 70 or 80s for many countries. As those countries used earlier models.

Will we be able to set up MFDs? So I don't have to set up the MFD at the beginning of the mission to avoid getting semi-usesless screen on the MFDs when I activate modes?
