Very cool teaser/troll if the map is released this week, if it comes in a few months, that it wasn't a particularly good thing hype/selling point vise. -
A lot of our F4s are gonna look like that.

My most Hollywood action movie video so far, well, at least the end is pure Michael Bay -

I wanna fly low through the valleys in my F16 and have it look good. Not sit there in VR with ugly low resolution textures thrown in my face. -
Us Navy USS Enterprise (CV-6) Yorktown-class aircraft carrier
Gunfreak replied to Silver_Dragon's topic in Pacific Theatre
Big E was the most decorated American ship of WW2, was at all the major battles. All the way to just weeks before the end of the war. Did night ops during Okinawa and during the "siege" ofJapan. Also photon torpedoes. -

Honestly can't tell the difference between Kola and SA on that video. Sure Norwegian F16 livery is a hint. But the fact it looks so much like SA up high. I'm worried this will look and preform like SA down low too. -

Agreed. But that hasn't happened in 10 years. And we have no idea if it will happen in the next 10 either. But joking aside. It's probably just not finished. -

In DCS 1 20mm AAA has the effectiveness of 20+ real ones. You add the correct number of guns of late war Enterprise in DCS. And she could have blown up Hiroshima just with AAA. -

They probably removed the guns to give the attackers a chance at taking them out. As with the correct armerments no enemy would get even close to the ship. -
The ammo trucks in DCS are just trucks. Some even are just flatbed with the ammo and fuel visible. The fuel trucks are just trucks with a giant fuel tank on the back. Incidirary .50 cal bullets will defiantly puncture and make them blow up.

Well chimps are far stronger than humans so they have an advantage in using the FSSB stick that requires 27lb of force to get full aft deflection
-
Does the moving terrain work with WW2 weapons? I don't see any trees move as my bombs and rockets hit in the tress. Or it it the Channel map that is missing something?
-
Is this needed? Are there any advantages of not using it(less engine stress?)
-
I think the blast thing is one step along the road to destroyble trees. Also it added jet a prop wash too. Which is a big thing when starting up and taxiing. And while it might be mostly for YouTubers. I do believe YouTube content creators are probably the main source of new DCS players. DCS gets huge amount of free publicity through YouTube. So some fancy effects is never a mistake.

And for the F16 the angle the seat is.

already requested Make ammo and fuel trucks more blowy upy
Gunfreak posted a topic in DCS Core Wish List
So testing the new shockwaves. Several 500lb bombs laded just a few meters fromxa bunch of fuel and ammo trucks. They all caught fire and after a couple of minutes they had blown up one after the other. I found several problems. 1. The bombs should have just blown everything up(I know the frag/splash damage is getting worked on) 2. The trucks were really close so once the first one blew they all should do the same. Not follow their own timers. 3. Fuel and ammo trucks should really just explode automatically as soon as the recive damage. We know from video both from ww2 and later that it takes almost nothing for fuel and ammo to blow up. A couple of .50 cals and ammo and fuel goes boom! 4. Related to nr 3. Fuel and ammo should have far larger explosions. One way of doing this is to use the same explosions from jets exploding. It's a nice biggish fireball and would fit quite well. Video showing how the fuel and ammo trucks don't explode even though half the jungle is shaking. (Also exploding vehicles don't make the trees move. But I'm sure that will come later. -
Have you done the basic deleting of fxo and shader folders?
-
Yeah that was the problem. I used the sight select for the FCR and didn't switch back.

Happy the P47 can land again. Also happy with F16 improvement. And I liked this, if we get some frag damage improvement for bombs, rockets and large caliber guns. Don't CAS will be much more fun. NEW: Added over-pressure shockwave influence from bombs, missiles, shells and gunfire on terrain vegetation like trees, bushes, and grass.

So it used to be thar if George used the gun and I needed it. I could just as pilot was the gun look at what needed to die and fire away. But now when I WAS the gun. It's still slaved t9 the HADS

F1 Mirage was one of the more capable aircraft Iraq had during the Iran-Iraq war. So naturally they needed to get taken care off. Preferably on the ground. F-5s attacking an Airfield with said F1s. Airfield is protected by SA2s and SA3s, as well as AAA. There are also some MiGs about. And that's why we have some F14 top cover(that behaved terribly in this mission)
