  1. I didn't want to toot my own horn but yeah my clean cockpit mod is going smoothly. A couple more panels and then I have the massive undertaking of going over the minutia of each panel.
  2. I've had issues where the HUD's horizon is slightly off when I turned on the main gyro to GM before turning on the master valve control and backup gyro. So when I startup now, I generally start with the master valve control, backup gyro, then the main gyro to GM to get my avionics set up correctly.
  3. IIRC weathering will not be something changed with FORGE. Creating a clean cockpit is a huge undertaking.
  4. Oooo fancy new website.
  5. Any chance of keeping the LITENING with its incorrect symbology/modeling but having it restricted with the payload restriction by default while also adding the LANTIRN?
  6. I would not mind keeping the LITENING pod with its mish-mash symbology but only as a "limited item" much like how you can limit which pylons the HARMs can be mounted on the F-16 while also adding a LANTIRN pod with all the correct symbology if they do not plan on implementing the LITENING pod in an accurate state.
  7. HB team does know about this bug btw.
  8. That incorrect ARC-182 function knob indicator position is most likely from a cockpit texture mod. The latest patch changed the default position of the knob so the default indicator line is correct.
  9. For the specific wire solution we have in-game, that jet was a VF-33 jet in '91. For the plate, at least 1 jet in VF-11 had it, I don't know if it was adopted by more squadrons, however.
  10. This seems to be something that effects other aircraft as well.
  11. Look into Payloads.lua and analyze the functions. They do have a place for modifying the attach_point_position.
  12. I can edit the missile position on the rails but I didn't feel like I needed to edit them. I'll see what's happening with it crashing DCS tho as I did not have that problem when I was testing it.
  13. V1.5.6 patch released for this OB patch.
  14. I think it might be an actual texture/rendering-related error.
  15. Bug: The F110 engine panel in the F-14B is darker than the other panels even though the textures for it did not change. Can I reproduce it 100%: Yes DCS Version: Open Beta 2.8.3.37556 (Singlethreaded and Multithreaded) Mods: None. Pictures:
  16. Seems like someone already mentioned him with the fix I've posted on the post but I'll post it here just in case. Add this to description.lua Previous topic post:
  17. You would add those lines to your livery file (description.lua).
  18. This is a problem with your custom cockpit textures. You will need to update the lua to comply with the new requirements for the mirrors. EDIT: You found out the problem already so nvm. If you still want to use the cockpit and are willing to mod it yourself: add these lines of code to your lua file:
  19. I now must update everything lol. This weekend is going to be long. EDIT: This mod should be updated. I'm now moving on to fix the others.
  20. Yep will do soon
  21. To a degree, yes but they could reduce the flares and go back to the older type of flares used like how it was prior to 2.7.1. And programing would be done differently iirc.
  22. I was watching some of the older Hornet videos and noticed the older CM panel which featured the ALE-39, ALQ-126B, and ALQ-162 controls before ED was able to get sufficient info on the ALE-47 and ASPJ. I'm wondering if it would be possible to reimplement these assets into the F-18 as a time period-based item (like the mission is set to prior to the ALE-47 reached IOC in 1998).
  23. V1.2 has been released with a fix for the weapon station status indicators. Some stations indicators, especially 1A’s indicator has like a super opaque viewing window that makes it look like a weapon is loaded even when it wasn’t. Here's a screenshot with stations 1A, 8A and 3-6 empty with 1B and 8B loaded.
