Does early access support HELLFIRE loal/lobl, and LO and HI fly mode
rcjonessnp175 replied to hreich's topic in DCS: AH-64D
Hi works great as a top attack for those harder shots, and make sure you lase and stow a point. -
Fact, and add to it folks just not grasping how the Apache works with its scas system. Anyways flys great for me, folks should pay attention to the SME’s posts and truly understand the words they say….
-
another thread Brad and Raptor9 where talking about the SCAS system have to find it The heading hold thread and the commentary from Brad and Raptor9 did a good bit of getting my brain on track with the Apache system
-
Ka50 has rudder/yaw trim and has option for rudder pedal trim in special options. I think most folks just aren’t grasping the scas system in the Apache, as it seems like a more in depth system modeling wise and as Apache is early access I doubt it’s complete. Reset trimmer option shouldn’t be a drama but I haven’t seen any reason for it in the stick time in Apache. The SME’s have some cool posts talking about this stuff, and ya the early access manual is a bit lacking on the subject….
-
Lol i cant wait for people to start doing back flips when they press the reset trimmer button in the future. Used it once in ka50 many years ago and nope never again

Now we just need more Infantry and Ground Units!

Yup Blackshark for me as well, Love Apache but Ka50 is the Original and the 3rd version looks great. -

Yup best thing for dcs besides VR in my opinion. -
Ha setting textures to medium helped definitely enjoyable now, thanks for the tip.
-
This exactly, all other modules run great and great for me is locked ASW at 36fps, with Apache it stutters and rarely maintains that 36 ASW lock. Same thing happened when the Hind was released, Apache is early access and needs a couple optimization passes. I will try dropping the textures down to medium for Apache, thanks.
-
Yup same here I have to alt tab out of dcs then it fixes itself. I do notice that system memory is pretty much maxed out at that time as well. Also the gpu pegs at 100 percent usage when the fps halves. So I remember this issue when the hind came out and seem to only have the issue with Apache, if I fly f16 no issues.

And got deleted? It was really that bad telling the truth? Or should I say voicing ones opinion. I think we need to buy ya a beer sith you've been working overtime lately lol

Sony 802a was ranked best gaming tv with fastest response time minus one other Sony model. 55 inch and it's only 1080p but i edid hack and run nvidia 3dvision and it's epic in the sim.

Lol I posted on his page too think it's awaiting approval

Well I think the bottom line is the in game effect should be toned down a bit. It's like the sounds in many aircraft they are overly gamey because we can't feel acceleration and such that's how I see these rockets. Just an over exaggeration of an effect to make you feel it. I vote everybody should have butt kickers and then it will be better with toned down more realistic effects if it is deemed more realistic.
-
Yup good old 50 will vibrate the fillings out your teeth. I imagine their is some sort of an effect on the airframe when the weight of those rockets come off. Aka need to compensate for the uneven weight distribution on the airframe. One thing we all need to keep in mind is the hvar rocket is quite large.

Does DCS play well with Windows 10?
rcjonessnp175 replied to Teeter's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
I tried it and it was uber slow on boot up, other than that seemed fine no performance gains in dcs world. Went back to win 7 will wait for the official official version -
dear god.... my saitek pro combat pedals have been a god send and true performers for the A10c and Ka50. Run no curves seems to help. I agree with pfunk it all about settings and the establishment of muscle memory. Sure i imagine the crosswind are good but common it takes like a year to get them so not worth it. Virtual pilots choices no need to demonize a set of pedals that perform just fine.

Oh trust me it's very hard to check your six without grab handles just like the real fly boys with the rift lol. No more fake trac ir head movement with this puppy.
-
with the dk2 you lose tracking at the back of your head but yes you can achieve what you just asked. its pretty cool standing up and looking at your bird for damage while flying lol. The cv1 will be better as it will have full 360 tracking i believe
-
Yup spend the money wisely make sure you research your tv for response time numbers. 4k is worthless when you have ridiculous ghosting and very high response time numbers. google best gaming tv's and response time

Nvidia Inspector helpful for DCS?
rcjonessnp175 replied to Falcon_S's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Dcs world isn't optimized period, also nvidia hasn't touched the profiles for this sim since ka50 black shark came out. Experimentation is best. For sli the windows assessment test sli profile seems to work best for most. -
Can you get one of the Hog that did a show of force above my team house in camp justice baghdad? Best memory ever
