  1. Psh....lost all respect because “labels”. Lol
  2. Technically the A-10C has never carried an “E” model maverick. The Air Force designation is “L” and yes the A-10C can and does carry them. We shot off a lot my last deployment.
  3. Germany, Spain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, to name a few, were there the same time as me.
  4. Basically
  5. Happened during landing.
  6. If you're in maintenance you should have access in to get the same TO that I did to provide ED the reasons why a windmilling engine wouldn't product hydraulic power like it does in DCS World. I'd happily tell you what it is through .mil email traffic, but not on the forums or through PMs. Here's some damage from a bird strike one of my birds took at Hawgsmoke this year.
  7. The search function on the forum works, plenty of discussions about this over the years. Not to mention the below rule: 1.16 Posting images, file links, and file sharing links of military aircraft documents newer than 1980 is strictly prohibited on our forums. Such posts will be removed.
  8. So what is this post trying to do? It’s wrong, I supplied the data to ED, and i know it’s wrong from real world experience working A-10s.
  9. It's not sensitive at all, I sent the info straight to Nineline, no reason to post it publicly especially with EDs rule about Tech Data posts.
  10. I agree, especially since I was deployed there three years ago launching A-10s against ISIS into Syria.
  11. I sent all the data needed to fix this issue well over a year ago, basically I don't expect it to be fixed seeing as how it's a bug that has been there since the A-10C was in beta and even after providing all the data still wasn't fixed.
  12. Decent isn’t the right world, catastrophic is more like it.
  13. Exactly
  14. Dear God no, everything about this sim doesn’t have to be monetized.
  15. Aliens.... but in all seriousness no idea.
  16. I doubt it, the NVIS lights that are being talked about aren't in the cockpit, they're on the wingtips, tail, and top of the aircraft. I'd love to have it but if it didn't get implemented back when it was still in beta/early release it isn't gonna happen now when the product is 8 years old. Link to a post from 2015 with someone asking the same thing and Eddie's description of that the NVIS lighting is. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1848717&postcount=6
  17. I am 99% sure it'll never happen. I asked about this 8 years ago when I was still an ED tester and even put in a feature request (IIRC). So if it hasn't happened by now I wouldn't expect it to.
  18. I can' tell you without a doubt you can't just use real world documents for any map created by ED. Every FLIP we've made (Russia, Georgia, Nevada, PG) all required extensive updating from what real world documents show. Same reason the charts for Nevada ED included aren't accurate to the sim.
  19. I see what you're saying but we'll agree to disagree. As I've already said, no one is forcing you to use the 476th FLIPS. I don't have to share this work with the community but the 476th vFG has always been about sharing 99% of what we develop (IE range objects, A-10C3.3, Stuka's NTTR mission, etc). ED hasn't labeled the majority of Al Dhafra taxiways so even if I did label them to match in game the airport diagram would be mostly empty and useless based on your reasoning anyways. I'm creating them with the hope that ED will use the information I provided them and make Al Dhafra information correct.
  20. That’s your opinion, if you feel that way don’t use the charts that I make specifically for the 476 vFG but share with the community. Create your own, no one is forcing you to use our stuff.
  21. I supplied ED with the real world information so hopefully they’ll update accordingly.
