I post a bug report about BM-21 in CA section.

Perhaps some past patch might change Russian MLRS BM-21 Grad's livery folder name internally, but install folder structure didn't follow the rename. In my research, current DCS World 2.9.12 .5336 defines BM-21 Grad's livery folder name as "grad-ural". Its full path should be /Eagle Dynamics/DCS World/Bazar/Liveries/grad-ural/ . About current install folder structure, BM-21 Grad's path is /Eagle Dynamics/DCS World/Bazar/Liveries/bm-21-40/ . Official four liveries' folders "autumn" , "spring" , "summer" , "winter" are under there with each description.lua files. In my testing of copying those four folders into "grad-ural" , season variety liveries are shown in DCS World as intended. Please match again between internal folder define and real structure.

Current BM-21 Grad's livery folder name is "grad-ural". (You can use capital letters as you like --- "Grad-Ural" in example.) The livery folder named "bm-21-40" under bazar/Liveries/ maybe abandoned old version wreckages. I'm not sure that when / in which update patch this folder rename was done. The patch of version 2.7.1 .7139 on 11/Jun./2021 (openbeta 2.7.1 .6430 on 20/May/2021) ? or more near ? description.lua and texture uv mapping is OK about yours. Only unit folder name trouble.

DCS core system implements ILS as transmitting signal waves only for the active runway on all maps. When ATC / Tbilisi Tower AI answers "Current Tbilisi runway 13" , ILS signal waves are transmitting only for runway 13. To activate runway 31 in missions, set their whether --- wind direction and speed blowing from 310 deg. to 130 deg. in 8 or 10 m/s at 0 meters high.

I'm satisfied ED's current (2.9.11) C-130 3d model. ModelViewer2.0 says its model has 83700 triangles count. This number is not few in comparing other official AI models KC-135 / IL-76md / An-26B / etc. (Besides latest Heavy Metal Core models ... ) RAZBAM's KC-130 model is 64326 triangles count. ED's KC-135 is 34980 triangles count. IL-76md = 92753. An-26B = 94013.

At first, the UNIT line maybe shown as Left click [+] button or right ">" icon, then right number will be increased 2, 3, 4, 5 ... like Left click left "<>" icon changes the target ship as "2 of 6" , "3 of 6" and we can edit each ships' types. Map's ship icon (DD / CC / FF / etc.) can be left drag to move the ship position in the formation , too. That category and type menu items sometimes buggy. "TYPE" box doesn't show collect current chosen ship type. Once left or right click on the map elsewhere to unselect the naval group, and again left click the naval group .... category and type menu item , TYPE box display will be recovered.

Current Ben Gurion's AI taxi routes are odd. Passing through aprons (for small jets) instead of going straight on main wide taxiways. Not historical. Takeoff RW 12 or 30 are in common routes. Trouble parts are these. These routes may cause TLV's spawning aircraft size limit. DCS core system and Mission Editor consider taxi routes' width --- A320 or B737 become size limit. Simplified historical taxi routes for each takeoff runways maybe those. Ben Gurion's main runway for takeoff is RW 08/26 --- the longest runway. And its default direction (no wind default) is RW 26. RW 12/30 are not so often used for takeoff. Only very strong crosswind for RW 08/26 case maybe ? Landing no wind default is RW 12. (current implement is OK) Winds from south-southwest case is RW 21. Strong wind from northeast is RW08. Other wind cases are RW 12/30. RW 26 maybe rare case for landing. RW 03 is almost not for landing (No ILS there).

A Naval Group can contain different category / different type ships mixed. When we use this function , their formation maybe a static one. Changing formation in dynamic or distances more far / more near may need different naval group.

I know, I understand, I'm also interested in the newer map module ... I bought Kola, Afghanistan and Iraq. They are Early Access products and Works In Progress, equal Unfinished and with many bugs or less airports / airfields / towns built than historical. That's a reason I don't recommend those newer map modules for others. -
Ben Gurion: Impossible to put heavy liners on parkings

Today I watch AI aircrafts taxing before takeoff / after landed in Syria's Ben Gurion. Their taxi routes are odd ones ..... turning into small aprons only built for B737 / A320 or business jets instead of going straight on main wider taxiways. DCS's core system and Mission Editor use total information about "aircraft types' capabilities of taxi-in / spawn-out --- from/to which slots ok or none ? " not only parking slots' LxW size , but also all passing taxiways' width enough or not. Then my thought is taxi route bug might bring allowing only small jets available spawn or taxi-in about Ben Gurion. I'll post another topic about taxi route bug report and better taxi routes suggestion. -
Ben Gurion - RWY/TWY night centerline lights missing

Ben Gurion International Airport doesn't have any runway or taxiway centerline lights. Israel's official AIP says all three runways (six directions) have centerline lights. They are white and in their ends area red seen from the center. Main taxiways and high-speed exit ways have green centerline lights. TWY K, L, N, S, R and W are referred. Green lines in the screenshot are I draw to show you which TWY missing. AIP text doesn't refer TWY E about centerline lights equipped, but detailed diagram looks like also E has them. If so, E and E2 / E5 are added on my graph. -

When I place Static Object's CH-47F on maps in Mission Editor, official liveries (United States Army Standard + United States Army Dark green / International Dark green + Standard) and installed user skins are listed up in Paint Scheme dropdown menubox, I choose one of them ..... Paint Scheme box shows the chosen livery name ..... but default "United States Army Standard" livery keeps on CH-47F model and chosen livery is not worn (official Dark green one is also so). In executed mission scenes, chosen livery is also not reflected on static CH-47F. It wears "United States Army Standard" livery. Flying Helicopter object CH-47F can wear custom liveries I've checked. And its "Takeoff from ground" waypoint + Uncontrolled option will be a substitute of Static Object , though ...

Hi. I have those liveries' plan about Brazil and Chile after I'll draw panel lines and normal maps. Some government operating liveries will be also --- Brunei / Uzbekistan / UAE / Israel / Cameroon ? (Some insignia , Coat of Arms' graphics are hard to prepare , my worry) Tanker variant(s) will have their own 3d models and I won't draw USA / Italy / Japan / Colombia tanker liveries on current airliner model. Military charter airlines are in my plans --- Atlas Air / North American / current Eastern .... after cargo template ready .... ABX / Amerijet / ATI / West Atlantic. wip for -200 variant ---

1st mod release is done, DL link is my 1st post. Today's version 0.0.2 beta contains only -300 variant and its liveries. -200 variant will come later. Additional livery works need panel lines + normal map + window arrangement tasks before.

Caribou, C-123K and An-12 AI Mods

Hi, walrusw. I found your An-12 model's visual bug --- ailerons, flaps, elevators and rudder are rendered with strange white shining or dark shading in DCS World. They come from Normals trouble often seen in 3d game object modeling. Easy to fix them to separate polygons with "Facing directions" by each edges before final exporting. When edges' vertexes are shared, 3d rendering engine wants to treat "there is a rounded sphere without edges". Wheel bay doors also have similar trouble. Separating two pieces by outside polygons or inside polygons are needed. 3d modeling applications have internal automatic normals management system (like 3ds Max Smoothing Groups) , but DCS World with EDM format doesn't equip those ones --- manual operation in exporting process is needed (when EDM exporter doesn't have such functions).
