Was just trying to set up the new Viking model in a quick tanking mission, and while i was able to select the new model, i didnt realize the task was still set at default (cap?), but when i changed its task/role to refueling, all the other tankers, except for the new model, come up in the "Type" menu, even the old S-3B is there, but not the new one.

Im getting a similar issue, where randomly the radio menu just wont open at all, even after repeated presses, requiring me to quit the mission. i have the "\" button bound to my Razer mouse to use in VR, but once it stops working, even the direct keyboard command doesnt open it. I do believe its just VR too, although in fairness since i got VR ive barely played on flat screen, and the times i have, its worked, so cant 100% confirm. I obviously cant test the Function keys, as the menu doesnt open at all for me (when bugging out). Im on the quest 2, and i usually run MT.

haha i guess not many get close enough to put holes in the deck. I will say, i redone the mission and all worked, but i think the timing for taxi is out!! If i go when told to, i think i end up pushing in front of other units, and that causes the collision. If anyone wants a work around, just let all other planes go, and launch last, ignore the yellowshirt. -

Thanks @MAXsenna, but with ATC, i was actually referring to Automatic Throttle Control, and it doesnt really work quick enough to compensate for the burble. Also, That would be great @Badger633 , Thanks !! Dont suppose we could get a snippet of what your working on? If not, hope u enjoy your trip man !! -

Hi @Badger633, Any chance you could not force wake turbulence? As i have a disability (paralyzed arm), and i have to use ATC (as i cant use HOTAS) to land on the carrier, and the Burble is horrible at best atm, so i turn off wake turbulence, but in this campaign it remains on, even if i force player settings. I know it effects ACLS but if people want it on, im sure they already have it on in their own settings. Is this possible?? -

I updated the other day, yet i dont remember seeing anything in the changelog for the F15 (was pretty small update), but now i cant select my A/A radar with the castle switch long. The lines indicating SOI at the bottom pop up for a second, then disappear. Doesnt matter if its on Left or Right screen. Essentially making the plane unusable for me at the moment. I recently installed DCC (digital crew chief, dynamic campaign), but dont see how that should effect the functioning of the module, it does require changing the mission lua, to make it persistant, but again, doubt theyre related? I got CAMs, T45, A4, A6 & Tacview installed, so pretty much Vanilla Open Beta. Stick is Virpil Constellation Alpha, and the binding worked previously (as in, at launch, not sure if this bug has been present from patch before, or the latest hotfix) Anyone else got this problem? F15E Cant select aa.trk

Oh right, so if different groups were worth different amounts i would change that to 20% etc, but in the end it all has to add to 100? I was thinking they were points but its a percentage? If thats the case ED should really put % there, would make it clearer. Cheers for the heads up, will play with the mission and see how i go !

oh wow !! thats not confusing at all !! The percentage next to condition, isnt the condition of the unit, but the probability of spawning... sheesh !! Cheers for the heads up man, guess i can dial em up to 100 then. -

I was able to get them to spawn by making them 100% again, then adding advanced waypoint task to SP, and telling them to goto WP1. Not sure which action fixed it? Seems like a bug though. -

Been working on a Sinai mission, and have 2 ships in the suez canal in the mission editor, that spawn at start, but when i spawn the mission only 1 ship comes in. They were both spawning before the latest OB update. Tried changing ship types, which didnt work. i have lowered the health of the ships so they sink with Mavs, but i dont see why 1 would spawn, and one not, even when the same ship is used?? ive also verified that they arent set to late activation. Pretty new to ME but seems pretty basic, doubt ive missed something, heres the mission if anyone wants to replicate it, everything's visible on F10 map, so u can see in first 5 seconds of mission Sinai Harbour Strike.miz -
ah, yes, it was the mission editor thing, i just removed it, and it required me to designate, but i just designated a few inches ahead, then all the other steps for getting a ptrk were the same. i also noticed, if you enter the WP in, and its still flashing in the UFC it wont let you box CDES. heres the track anyway EDIT: Another fun fact i just worked out, if you want to change a standard waypoint to a . waypoint (ie Target wp), without the Mission editor, or on the fly from co-ords, just goto ufc main menu, select the current WP button to enter into the waypoint edit screen, then type the number of the waypoint you want to change followed by a . and press that onto the waypoint in the top left, and it will change to target waypoint F15GBUPTRK2.trk

i think it just happens once im in A/G mastermode, weapon selected, master arm on and i slew the tpod (with tpod soi). will test again and see EDIT: just redone that test, and as soon as i switch to A/G mode the fall line comes up. In the ME i did make WP1 a target by naming it "#t" although i dunno if that will change it? once it has this, the waypoint has a . after it, so 1. for eg instead of 1A i just go AG & master arm on, ptrk, CDES, auto aq. ONCE (also it has to be close enough to target too, there is a set slant distance but i cant remember, maybe 8 miles, but just so target fills most of the centre of the crosshairs, EXP helps) an switch to black hot/white hot if still not catching. if you open that track i posted, and take control you should get it, u spawn right near target so great for retrys
