I have them too, great stuff and the "issue" is not really an issue, it is just that, in DCS, you have to reverse the axis for the toe brakes. (axis tune in control)

If and when I actually can control a hover on the Huey, say for 5 minutes, I'm going to dance ! Damned its tough. Now I totally get the coaxial rotor thing...

New option for visible range: Ultra High (not quite finished I guess) Its in the program but not in the manual and it doesn't work...its OK its not official when its not in the book ! If you do use it, you will be soaked...

The cluster bomb stutter is a known issue, they are working on it. Now you may have 16 GB of memory in your box but with a 32-bit Windows you can only use 4 GB as 2^32 (2 to the power 32) is 4 GB. You need a 64-bit operating system to reach beyond the 4 GB addressing limit. So you need to upgrade to 64.

You have to keep the laser on the target all the way, until it hits. Not a fire and forget weapon.

Email ED to get your id and password, without that there is not a whole lot you can do. DCS world is free. Download and install. That gives you the 25T. Its a simulation, but if you dont like study sim, like DCS, then choose the game and the game controls, its a lot easier. If you have BS installed already (pre dcs world version), then you can install the upgrade which will be in DCS world WITH the serial you get when you buy and that you can check later with your name and password of course. (upgrade is cheaper so you need to have BS installed already, even tough the original BS is not in DCS world.) Think of DCS world as FSX for military, other publishers will join in shortly. If you want to install FC3, you need FC2 or Lock-On to be installed, Ubisoft copyright thing. Everything else, Mustang, CA, A-10C and eveything that is forthcoming will go into DCS:World. Each plane or chopper has its own controls (careful not to overwrite one with the other when you save!.) Good luck and do read round in the forum, answers are there. lou

We clearly have different video systems. No crater was visible during landing.

I think I saw one pass bye at the very end...You see it if you know what to look for... Sorry for not taking the crater thing seriously at first, I thought you were making a joke, so I ignored it. Sorry man, I will take your posts seriously now.

OK, I finally saw the craters, but they flicker and vanish at certain angles, like when you land...By doing a pass before I saw them flickering strongly...that is the bug really. Thanks all for your patience, I have a flickering crater problem. I guess with upgrades of either DCS or NVIDIA, the problem will certainly disappear. Sorry for not getting the crater thing at first I thought people were making a joke since I never saw the craters in the first place. I'll update my NVIDIA driver now and check again. Didn't see anything, did you ? I'll redo everything and check, but may be the bug is that I don't see the craters, are they visible on the track ? Or does everybody assume there are craters because the airport has been bombed ?

Well, shouldn't the craters be visible as long as they are active...The runway is nice and clean although it has been bombed.
