I have friends that have flown or still fly in the USAF and they aren't lairs. You would not be saying things like this to their face. Who the heck or you to judge anything like that! Have you dog fought in a fighter jet, do you know what it takes? I'll tell you that all Air Forces (military) fib a little on all sorts of things. Is anyone actually going to say....we have the crappiest jets or weapons....heck no. Look at Iraq, they thought they were good, but that didn't work out too well for them did it? Sure there may have been a few times where a better/newer aircraft got beat. You can't win them all sometimes and sometimes things just magically line up for the other guy. You love to argue in these 2 sub-forums about how this sucks compared to that. You are going by reading the internet, do you realize that a lot of things aren't 100% true. Deception is a good tactic used by people to get more stuff.....a.k.a military funding is one of them. Do you have any idea what actually happens in a military in day-to-day operations? So before you start assuming stuff that you don't know the full story, maybe think first about it.

If some people are using their F5 keys that much, then they need to get a life.

That's a part of war and a part of the game, depends on how mission designers set up their mission. That is another reason why it's best to use TS or Vent when flying on servers that have their comms up. I have no issues blasting a A2G guy out of the sky. Will I fly far out of my way to do it.......sometimes.

Why let ground guys get non-contested kills on ground forces? I'd fly there and kill some of the A2G guys myself sometimes.

Within 10 miles select helmet mode, bring up an 27ET fire that or fire another ER. Within 10 miles you can use bore or longitude mode and pick him up quickly that way. If you can see him with your eye, then bore or long should be able to pick him up also.

I think this was brought up years ago also, don't recall what happened in the thread.

Not much more attention is given to them as you would think, at least from what I have seen and heard. I've seen hundreds of "airshow" pits and have worked on jets for 13+ years, they look the same to me. I'm sure they clean them up a little, but they don't fully detail them :D EDIT: For B-52's if they have a general coming to look at them, they will clean them up. But this is the norm when a Gen or over high ranking person is coming through. For some reason they want to "hide" what we really deal with. That is why some officers have no clue on how some things really are.

I meant to say, I haven't heard anything not in the news, as my roommate is intel. By reading that article I would think the same thing if I was a normal person. That's the thing is that normal people have no clue on these things and believe everything they read.

I haven't seen anything on my end saying they were nuclear armed. Things like this use to happen a lot back in the cold war. It's just their "guessing" that they were.

CH or WH would be my choice. I Currently have A CH set up and just bought a Cougar, if the Cougar doesn't pan out...I'll probably buy a WH, but i will always keep my CH as back up.
