  1. What a ride, I finally made back home from Cherbourg on the 4th try haha. But how emersive this one was again, just great. Went into the battle a bit more defensive than the first three attempts, but nevertheles there were some pretty dangerous passes of the 190's, but I took one down and when it was time to leave I was almost the last witht another friend of my flight, but we were both out of ammo and had a very hard time to shake of on of the remaining 190's, could only get rid of him climbing up into the clouds....and so did we and landed at needs ore point arifield with 3-4 gallons left...... Thanks for that entertaining evening with this great campaign, can't wait for the next mission Cheers
  2. yes, as soon as I see the bandits behind Cherbourg I give the two commands and drop the external tank. And I saw that the react on this and swarm out, then I start turning wild to make sure I have nothing on my 6 but then immediately from nowhere a 190 (always LWF 0001 & 0002 or how they are coded) gives my engine a deadly strafing shot. When I have time will try again tonight. One day I will make it out of there haha. But as always very great missions, love it
  3. Hi all At the moment I'm stuck in Mission 6. Although I love the chanel crossing with the great clowdy weather and it is amazingly emersive as all Reflected missions. But now I just had to bellyland my Spit near Cherbourg for the 3rd time in a row. Flew Beware Beware and the previous Missions with very little scratches and quite some kills, but here over Cherbourg it seems hell for me. Even when I try to fly very defensive and be very careful, LWF 0001 and 0002 they always make swiss cheese out of my engine within the first minutes of the battle. I guess this is now how emersive as it can get. But does anyone have an advice for me how I can make this Mission with gettin back to the island? Thanks and greetsings from the POW Markus
  4. Great stuff, can't wait to see more B-17 liveries
  5. Is this campaign in such a bad shape? I'm half away through the big show after finalizing the beware beware, and would love to add a 3rd campaign after these two amazing campaigns
  6. Great job with the Spit factory, looks amazing. Thanks
  7. Just keep on going, it will pay out after the XX attempt The advice I found on one of the YT tutorials that helped me most was, wheel brakes till 100kmh and from there on everything with the ruder and no breaks...... that solved my struggling on take off further a big advantage is to have toe brakes at your pedals. I could not do it without. Good luck
  8. Great looking paint scheme, looking awesome Thanks for sharing
  9. Just finalized the 1st sortie of this great campaign. Initially I wanted to fly the new Mossie campaign first, but wanna try out the new Normandy Map in one of your campaigns, so why not this one directly after BewareBeware, perfect fit. And happy to be back in the spit cockpit. Thanks for this amazing camaign. Happy to spend my time with it in the upcoming weeks Cheers
  10. This was exactly what happend to me. There was no chance to attack them even a single Ju, they immediately destroy my plane. Help on this would be highly apprechiated. Thanks
  11. Oh boy, this plane will become such a game changer for DCS. Amazing. Your work is outsanding. Is there a dam somwhere in DCS?
  12. Thank you all involved in making this beauty of a map possible. What an amazing piece of work. I just had my first hour of fun with a quick fight mission close to the beaches and as soon as the battle was fought I took my wingman and flew to Paris listening to Edith Piaf. What a great experience. There is so much to explore in this map. Can't wait to explore everything. Again, thousand thanks for giving DCS WWII a huge push with this great map. Love it.
  13. I made this post some time ago: Ju 88 gunner accuracy here it was the complete oposite, when I was approaching the two Ju 88 the always shot at least one of my mossie engine dead from a very unrealistic distance with amazing accuary.... It would be great if this could be adjusted somewhere no?
  14. would defenitely buy a G6, but. Bombers or 262 would be much more prefered from my side
  15. Thanks for the links. Will have to check them thorough. At a first glance it looks pretty complex to me ..... pc dummy....
  16. Really? That sounds interresting. Is there a manual somewhere for that? I would like to move DCS from C Drive (getting full) to another M.2 drive when updating to Beta. Is a reinstall recommended for that? Thanks and sorry for beeing a bit offtopic Just can't wait to fly the Normandy 2.0 Thanks
  17. Thanks for the heads up. Mh it is just because I set it up the first time 2.5 years ago in stable and never had the engergy to deinstall everything and transfer to the beta, but maybe this now would be a good reason haha
  18. Can there be made an estimate by when this beautiful map will be available in the stable version? Bought it directly when it came out. But as I'm flyin in the stable version only (don't ask why, haha), I look forward to have it there. Are we talking about weeks or months? Thanks
  19. Hi Roland Great, thanks for the feedback. Yes, still thinking about this screen. But havn't decided yet. It really seems to be a enormous screen. For flying it must be defenitely amazing. How about for the normal daly work on the computer? But maybe I just give it a try when I see a great deal. Thanks and have a great weekend Cheers
  20. Great, thanks. Sounds good
  21. Holy smokes, your work is just amazing. Thanks for sharing all this with us. The tailgunners position looks great. Can't wait to sit in there Will it be possible to operate the tailgunner position whilst autopilot flys the plane?
  22. Had exact the same issue with this nice custom livery and you solved it with this approach. Many thanks Cheers
  23. Hi all I have a short question on the Ju 88 gunner accuracy. Just started to build up some nice night fighting action in the Mission Editor with the Mossie against Ju 88s. But my problem is the gunners at the Ju 88 start their fire way to early and are extremly accurate too. In the books that I read they mention that they had to hold their fire extremly long to not give up their position at night. Makes sense to me. Can I adjust this something? If a move the skil of the plane to beginner it does not seem to affect the gunner. they start shooting extremly early and damage the engines of the mossie extremly fast. Is there a way that I can set this a bit more realistic? And maybe instead of having the gunner with a lose trigger more having the pilot making devensive movements? Many thanks for your support Cheers Markus
  24. Thanks, will defenitely have a look at it
  25. Ok, thanks, sounds logical Havent tried the current lights either, as I did not went into night activities so far, but for the great new mossie campaign this is very high on my to do list
