  1. Hi! Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but there seems to be no way to order your wingman/flight to jettison their external fuel tanks. I know about the jettison stores command, but this makes them drop their bombs too! One would think that this command should exist, but this doesn't seem to be the case,
  2. Yes, I did follow the waypoints, but I went a bit offcourse from the IP to align myself better with the road before issuing the order. I will try to ask to engage mission just after touching IP.
  3. Hi! I'm new to this or any dynamic campaign and I'm still getting the ropes. I'm currenty playing Chiprus Incident with the M2000. Everything is going fine, but I can't get my flight to engage ground targets. I tried this ground strike mission a couple of times, tried the order engage ground targets and engage primary and rejoin, but instead targeting the actual mission target--> the column below us, they push on for the enemy airbase where they get shot down by SAMs. Is there anything special I should be doing? Is the enemy airbase considered Primary Target even if the actual mission target as per the briefing is supposed to be the vehicle column?
  4. Regarding the package not splitting issue, it solved itself. It happened every time I retried the mission after the first fail, BUT then I tried skipping the mission and clicking on refly and everything worked fine. I didn't try to replicate the 'deserter killed bug after looong time loitering' because I really wanted to win the mission!
  5. I believe this is WAD. That panel isn't functional IIRC.
  6. Third and Fourth tries: Package doesn´t break and proceed. Noble stays with Metal and never get to their CAP stations so the mission doesn't progress further. This mission REALLY hates me.
  7. I replayed the mission and this second time the deserter refuses to land in Lincoln. I did the simulated approach thingie + landing gear and got the radio message confirming that the deserter is complying, but he remained in formation. I orbited and repeated several times but he still keeps close formation and refuses to land. I tried to land and he flew away back to the west of the map. This mission hates me.
  8. Yes! I almost crashed! That was a close one. I always switch it on during startup, but this mission start with engine already running so I didn't realize.
  9. First of all, what a great mission! But sadly I got the deserter shot down radio chatter + fail message + forced exit while rtb... except HE DID safely land and I got the radio message telling me to RTB. The fail radio chatter happened a LONG time after he actually landed, because before turning back to Nellis I had to air to air refuel which is really hard and took me a long, long time. Really long. Maybe assets dissapear from the ground after some time since having stopped and the mission took this as if being killed? I don't think there's any traffic in that airport that could have crashed with the deserter while parked.
  10. This mission features a huge thunderstoom that looks really amazing. There's acceptable visibility with rain in the starting airport and you are supposed to fly over the weather to Bastille, contact the missing pilot and then fly under the weather to get visual confirmation with flare launch. The briefing literally says to fly under the weather for the visual confirmation, but you can't do that in the target area because it's completely INSIDE the weather. It's really hard to see the flare and its nearly impossible to spot the hostile column. I had to turn labels on. I don't think this is WAD. Maybe it's something related with the new changes to weather in 2.8?
  11. Its hard to be 100% satisfied with one's landings in the Spitfire in dcs.
  12. The Big Show was my first DCS campaign and I concur it has an adequate difficulty for new pilots.
  13. I´ll have to check it again. Maybe the audio warning switch starts off in that quickaction? That'd be odd. That video is exacty what happened to me yesterday, minus the beeeeeeps
  14. Its been a while since I last flew the m2k, but iirc there was a warning when low&slow and the landing gear was not deployed. It doesn't seem that way with the latest patch. The blinking red light in the gear handle is there, but no other warning. This was in the Persian Gulf landing instant action, I guess its not map or mission related but I have to check it. Or maybe I don't remember correctly?
  15. That's great! Thanks man, you have put my fears to rest.
  16. Thanks! So it is workable as long as I keep both connected. Have you ever disconnected any of those and put it back? What happens to the column? Mmmmh, that's a possibility. But I really love it for warbirds and I have developed a sentimental relationship with it over the years. XD
  17. I was happily considering buying a Gladiator NXT EVO because my beloved old Saitek AV8R is ok for warbirds but not so for modern jets and switch from one to the other depending of the plane I'm flying. Just one second before clicking BUY a terrible shiver of dread ran across my spine: what about the control bindings, curves, etc? Will DCS bindings go nuts when I plug one out and the other in? Will I lose the configs of the previous one? Is there any way to make this work?
  18. I could complete them in 2.7 a few months ago and were informative enough, didn't seem broken. Don't know in 2.8.
  19. The different species of trees is a really nice detail! I like any effort to make the countryside look different in both sides of the channel.
  20. Which I hope comes out soon!! I've paused playing the campaign waiting for the update.
  21. Absolutely gorgeous. I'm truly impressed. Man, I'll have to buy a new huge SSD to deal with so many wonderful but Gb superheavy DCS maps.
  22. Thanks for the information. I agree that it's best to spend your time and effort in new campaings with the updated map. Hopefully for the spit
  23. R.MES, I just finished this campaign and I really wanted to thank you for your work. I played your previous M2000 one too and both have delivered an immersive and enjoyable experience. Your style perfectly hits the spot for me!. Given that there isn't so much content for the M2000 your work is a blessing!!.
  24. I flew this mission a couple of times yesterday and the same thing happened to me. I'll follow your example and shred those trucks with my cannon. I guess it's just the trucks you have to kill, right? PS: I think there's something conflicting with the Gazelle configuration for the mission and the current DCS version. I remember F2ing to watch them and noticed there was something wrong with the mounted weapons. The rocket/missile? rack was floating besides the heli, with no wings to attach them. I'm sorry I don't have pics.
  25. Excellent!! Thank you very much! I'm definitely buying a new one this week.
