  1. As per the title - reinstalled DCS on a new machine, and now my cockpit view in the Bf 109 is stuck well to the left of the cockpit. With the Revi gunsight up I'm centred in the cockpit, but the sight still requires shifting waaay to the right to see it. My previous install had no issues and worked as intended. Any suggestions? Edit: .... and somehow it fixed itself with no action on my part. Re-booting DCS the first 3 times did nothing, but the 4th worked. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  2. Didn't see it in the patch notes for the latest update, but the Kola and Sinai RSBN data is in! The Sinai pages in particular look fantastic. Big thanks to @Rudel_chw, as it looks like his work was used for those. The additional maps are super helpful. Props to Mag 3 for doing this - Sinai is looking better and better, and now I can enjoy it fully with my favorite module.
  3. Sweet! That's fantastic news.
  4. Cross-posting in here just to make sure its in the Bugs & Problems section - as per the title, the SPO-10 RWR lights aren't working. The audio tones appear to be working, and it seems like it'll pick up a lock, but no lights. New since the 20 Jan 2025 update. Thanks,
  5. Confirmed. Looks like they were bugged when the radar return brightness was increased (Which is very helpful, thanks Mag 3!). The audio tones work, but no lights.
  6. So, we're now into 2025, a full 18mo since I posted this. We're now up to 5 maps without RSBN/ARK for our beloved MiG-21. Given that MiG-21's actually operated in all four of those maps historically (Sinai, Kola, Iraq, Afghanistan), it keeps me from wanting to invest in them if I can't fly my favourite module without needing to resort to F10 to navigate. Doesn't seem like Mag 3 is interested in doing this work, but maybe a nudge from ED would help, given that it'd be one less barrier to buying their maps?
  7. Same. Don't own Supercarrier, and I cannot join any multiplayer server. Hangs indefinitely, then crashes when I try to tab out.
  8. Mouse input for all of the dials (cockpit lights, Radio volume, RWR volume) are very slow/sticky, requiring about 3x as much travel to produce the same increase/decrease as pre-2.9.6.
  9. Same issue. And on trying to restart DCS the launcher is totally greyed out, with no ability to open the game.
  10. Any updates on when/if we can expect RSBN for Sinai? Assuming OnReTech eventually updates the map, that is....

    RSBN for Kola?

Kola is out and looks promising, especially for us RedFor flyers. Any chance of getting RSBN updates, at least for the 5 Russian airfields as of Early Access?

  12. Has Sinai been abandoned already, or are there any updates in the foreseeable future? The missing Bullseye feature is getting to be a PITA and limiting mission-making.
  13. Been playing more Warbirds lately and the Spitfire AI is hilariously ridiculous. Turns on a dime, climbs like it has an F-16 engine in it, makes 1000m shots with single-taps of the 20mm, never stalls, and can go from ripping around at 20deg a second to a dive so slow I have to cut engine not to overshoot, whereupon it somehow can still climb several thousand meters instantly. The other Allied Warbirds seem fine - its just the Spitfire that is straight UFO to the point of absurdity.
  14. Tried out the Bf 109 in a goofing around mission, and by my count from the debrief I hit an AI P-51 twelve times with the Mk 108, along with a whole bunch of 13mm. It took 5 hits of 30mm before the AI would abort mission, but it was still maneuvering I had to chase it down and pump another 7 into it to get the engine to quit, but no structural damage other than lots of holes. Many if not most looked to be fuselage hits from what I could see. It glided about halfway across the channel before making a successful water landing and no kill awarded. Compared to the 20mm MG151's the Mk 108 feels almost useless. I don't know if it's a damage model bug or something is coded incorrectly with the Mk 108 but it really sucks the fun out of the K-4. Mk108 no damage.trk
  15. Same probelm. Any attempt to load a multiplayer track file causes a reproducible crash to desktop. Not even a 'DCS has crashed' popup - just straight to desktop.
  16. 17 December 2023 and Bullseye still bugged. 17 December 2023 and Bullseye still bugged.
  17. In DCS the MiG-23 should shine as a high-speed hit & run aircraft with good BVR capabilities compared to its peer aircraft (primarily the F-4E). It should also have the acceleration to withdraw from an unfavourable position and then re-set the fight.. It's not going to out-turn a Viper, obviously, but I suspect it'll be a monster in the Cold War servers. In a Fox1-only environment it should also be able to hold its own against 4th gens if flown to its strengths. Hopefully we see some more late 70's and early 80's -A variants of the teen-series down the line, and the MiG-23 will be a natural dance partner for those modules.
  18. So, upon rebooting DCS the issue seems to have corrected itself. Weird.
  19. Unless I've missed an update or some sort toggle to switch them on/off - the SAM site location markers are no longer appearing on the Sinai map. The terrain objects themselves are there, but the missile icons seem to be gone. Hopefully this is a temporary glitch? Those icons are one of the best features of the map! Thanks!
  20. Noice! That's great to hear. Thanks!
  21. With the Sinai map out and looking great, and the MiG-21 being a natural fit for Six Day War/October War re-enactments, I'd love to see RSBN beacons added, as was done with Syria.
  22. Mine's all sorted and working well. Frustrating, but I'm grateful ED sorted it out promptly.
  23. I love those sort of Brush War scenarios. A dodgy cargo plane trying to do a combat drop on some grass runway while being escorted/intercepted by some light attack aircraft and/or armed utility helos sounds awesome. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvbwcLd1S0Y Great movie and one of the coolest scenes in it.
  24. Yeah, this sucks. WTF. I don't mind waiting for a while to install an update but having absolutely everything I own de-authorized isn't much fun. nullnull
  25. I would fly the snot out of an An-2. It was used as a bomber in several conflicts, and the short field takeoff/landing capability would make it something unique and totally different from a C-130 or other heavy cargo plane. Bad weather, night operations, or flying in mountainous terrain would be a blast in an aircraft like that. I realize that civilian flight sims can offer that experience, but since neither my SSD or wallet are bottomless, I would much rather have it in DCS.
