Thanks Gents.. yeah one has been working as well as it can from my old desk setup but just was curious if two is better than one .. looking forward to getting this simpit up and running but I'm taking my time modifying and customizing (and waiting on my brother in law the master machinist to finish my center stick mount )

So I am building my Simpit and how it is configured is facing the wall. Question is has anyone mounted two base stations in front of the headset/seat? Like I previously responded above I have only needed one above my desk set up but now with the wall space I was wondering about two; one on each "corner" above and forward of the cockpit. I don't think I can mount one behind me giving the Sim seat and the room configuration? Thanks

I spent Saturday night building a bracket to mount another button box.. but hey I was working at the kitchen bar/island so I was at least in same room as her

I am very very guilty of this

All- I spent the last ten years in "guerrilla" marketing and memes are big part of that. After the last year of immersion into the DCS culture I have experience/observed many humors and funny things; mostly based on my own stupidity. I thought perhaps sharing some of those experiences might bring a smile or laugh to some of you. I WILL NOT post anything offensive, foul language, or vulgar about anyone in or out of the community or any companies. I ask if you post a meme of your own please follow the same rules. I am only using one.. I have shelves above my desk so it is up high and has a good field of view downward on my headset. I did have a second one mounted on a tripod behind originally but seemed unnecessary for my desk set up. I too only use Pimax for DCS

Please forgive my ignorance but I was researching what the switch to Vulkan means to DCS for user performance and I had the thought that with the many recent announcements of the planned maps and modules from third party developers is this a direct result of the eventual shift to Vulkan? With my very limited and very laymen understanding of the Vulkan API it does seem like it may be some of the increase of interest from newer developers. I understand it may not be the primary reason (although that is my gut feeling) but at minimum Vulkan is a better option to tackle the complexities of maps and modules vs the DX12. Anyways just curious if my train of thoughts/therory is completely wrong or kinda of on track? Thanks

Really dumb suggestion on my part (because it probably not effecting you) but I had an issue with downloaded User missions and the Bronco with crashing and drop of FPS. After I did repairs and all the normal other procedures like yourself I got the mission to load and work but still with major FPS drop. As I was flying around I looked down and saw civilian traffic on the roads and was shocked. I have Civ Traffic OFF by default but I had to check the mission's options in ME and yup there was Civilian Traffic enabled by the mission creator. Turned it off and all was good and back to normal. The weird thing is I was having the crashes and FPS issues even when not using that particular mission before I disabled the option. So goes the Gremlins of DCS.
